You know, I had Force Commander, played it once, and never picked it up again. I didn't even know it was playable online.

As Tex mentioned, I am approaching #2000. I already have my title figured out. In fact, it was decided upon quite some time ago, in the event that I ever reached 2000. As for an insignia, I have no clue. Some community ideas would be most helpful.

And another thing. I think that it is much more cost efficient for an R2 unit to repulsor itself into the socket of a starfighter, then to have some huge magnetic machine lift it up and place it in the starfighter.

I still didn't like how R2 got "downgraded" in between the prequels and the OT. I mean, you can't have R2 have mini repulsor lifts (or whatever they were that made him fly) in the prequels if he doesn't have them in the OT. It just doesn't make sense.

Agreed. Even though he cared for Dumbledore, he was still upset with him, and at the time he needed the people he totally loved and cared for. While Dumbledore's presence would have been a comfort, it would also have led Harry's mind astray into all the things he wanted to shout at Dumbledore for. He didn't need that as he walked to his death.

I was thinking that maybe he just wanted his family with him. Harry felt that he was walking to his death, and wanted the ones he loved with him for support as he marched to his certain demise.

Dude...that is so ridiculous. I can't believe that. There was a similar case a few months back here in the states, where these three kids dug up the body of a classmate who had died recently, and had their way with it. They were caught, but released, because there was no official law against necrophilia in the state. I think they got a small fine for vandalizing the grave site, but thats it. Some things are just wrong. There should be "common sense" laws, where the sick actions that people do can be punishable to a reasonable extent.

it shouldn't be too hard Mad... there should be plenty of swatch watches and clocks to be made... I'm kidding.. I dont think that's all that the Swiss make... According to Wikipedia,the biggest portion of the Swiss economy comes from tourism. Maybe you should be a guide, giving visitors tours of the local cheese, dessert cake, and hot cocoa factories.

Now I have a question. Did anyone believe that Harry would die? I was kind of assuming that he had to die in order to defeat Voldemort. I mean, he did die (technically), but I thought it would be more...permanent. So I was surprised that he survived. Did anyone else expect Harry's death?

The only problem is that I am not seeing a search option for players names. Maybe once you add a player contact it will be easier to find someone. Edit: Done and done. In the bottom left corner, there is a window that reads my games/contacts. Under the contacts tab, just type in the screen name, and that person is now easy to find. I already added Mad.

Now the only thing left is to call my old landlord one last time and remind him that he "forgot" to reimburse me for the security I put down for the apartment last year.

That is a nice idea. Plus, we'll all be able to keep our screen names from here.

What I was thinking of doing is that as each of us finalizes our accounts with the screen name, I'll edit my first post to include a listing of them all, so its easy to see who is who and find each other.

Yeah. If you sign up for the basic account, it gives you access to the "play money" tables. This way we bet with a fake cash.

The apartment hunting mission to Oneonta was successful. I found an agency that had four listings, and by the end of the day I found one that I liked. Its a 3-bedroom house, where the two other tenants are brothers who will be going to Oneonta also. I didn't get to meet them since they looked at the place yesterday, so I hope they are cool. The location is nice, only a 2 minute drive from the school. It also has its own driveway and parking lot, so I dont have to park in the street. I will be paying the same amount I paid for the last apartment, but it is in much better condition and is much bigger. Its two stories, with the kitchen, living room, and my room on the ground floor, and the other two bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. All in all, I am very pleased and relieved to have found something so easily. I can breathe easy now, knowing I have a home for the coming semester. PS- I did a drive-by espionage mission to my old place. There is no for sale sign, and there were several cars in the driveway. This leads me to believe that he was bs'ing me, and that he simply was able to find two students to take my apartment. But whatever. Im happy now.

I used to use carbon poker. That one used play money. Hereis a link to it. I think this is a good bet. I deleted my account, so I'll have to re-install the software. But I think this will be a lot of fun, if a few of us get into it. I'll post my username after I download it.
