In the Star Wars CCG game I used to play, the Yoda and Emperor cards were not allowed to equip lightsabers, based on the premise that a Jedi Master did not use sabers, but the Force itself.

Thanks for the input guys. But remember. This is a U.S. foreign relations paper. It has to entail the U.S. actions towards another country. So I wouldn't be able to write about NASA programs and the like, but more the U.S. reaction towards Russia's space cosmonaut programs. So if anything, I would have to find something in particular that the Russians accomplished that was interesting, and had the U.S. buzzing. I was thinking about researching the U.S. government's reaction to Yuri Gagarin successfully going into space. The professor recommended animals, but I don't think I would be able to find material as interesting as humans.

Well, I emailed him back, asking what he thought of the Alaska idea. And he pretty much said the space race was a good topic, but I had to concentrate on specific aspects of it. He recommended what the U.S. reaction was to the first man or animal in space.

Well, my professor felt that the space race was too broad of a subject. Thus, I think I will focus my attention to the US purchase of Alaska from Russia. I just read a bit about it in my text book, and it seems interesting.

I generally use AIM, or gmail chat.

The misses and me planned a ski trip near us one day. She found this really sweet-looking inn, and booked it. Well, when we pulled up, we just sat in the parking lot for a long time. The place looked like a motel killer lurked inside, and the outside totally didnt match what the website showed. I could only imagine how the rooms actually looked. Needless to say, I pulled out of there and we found a Holiday Inn instead. I later called the scary place to cancel the reservation. I wanted to be polite, so I said "my girlfriend is sick and we wont be able to stay today". The lady on the phone was like "no shes not. You're lying. I saw you in the parking lot, and then you pulled away." I denied it for awhile, but she kept insisting, so eventually I had enough of being Mr. Proper and told her off for keeping such a cruddy-looking place and passing it off as something else online.

Apparently my roomies saw Halloween over the weekend when they went home. Sucks to be me. I'll have to wait for the DVD. Its just that the misses hates scary movies...

Are you being sarcastic or were you seriously unimpressed with Vegas? I've never been, but I've always heard nothing but good things from friends and family who have made the trip. Otherwise, glad you enjoyed the rest of your trip.
