  1. Is there an active NJO mod? Interesting Feel free to link to them We currently host two of the mods for EaW - Imperial Assault http://www.imperialassault.com - Thrawn's Revenge http://gutr.swrebellion.com
  2. Mmm I happen to like the blue lightsaber hehe
  3. It wasn't changed in the SE tapes, but rather the DVD releases since those were after the prequel movies.
  4. http://www.cleanfunny.com/i/s/intel_inside_idiot_outside.jpg Its funny I was searching for an image, Yahoo returns one linked from a Mac addict page http://www.maclife.com/forums/topic/13174/1 Too bad Mac's are using Intel now too
  5. We, as the host, however would be more than willing to accept donations. It helps keep the server running and supporting our many SW endeavors on SWRebellion.com That Paypal link does pop up on the front page, may just need to refresh a few times
  6. Spellcheck bight -> bite
  7. Duke Nukem: Forever = many professional game designers, many companies involved, lots of $$$ Rebellion Reloaded - few non-professional, no company, no $$$ Quit complaining people unless you're actually helping out.
  8. It is the map from nav-computer.com - but sadly the site hasn't been running in a while. Cartographer was the guy who maintained and updated it, I don't know if he still doing that I have mirrored it over at http://www.swcic.net Those boxes are indeed more detailed, inlet images. I have them somewhere. Really, this is some of the best work to show positions of systems, within the references given throughout the Expanded Universe. Some contradictions were explained on the nav-computer site.
  9. I'm not sure what you mean exactly. For simplicity and better running time, hit points are a combination of both armor and shields. Hit points in a healthy ship will regenerate faster (to represent shielding) until it gets damaged and slows down (shields done, relies on hull armor)
  10. Sorry, we don't support any cracks or warez. Basically, use at your own risk. Closed.
  11. I believe Eville addressed this somewhere, but basically with the scale of the game, the engine won't support something as big as the Death Star. However, the Death Star could make an appearance as part of the background (appearing over the edge of Yavin gas giant for instance)
  12. This may help.. it chronicles the events within the SW timeline (for all EU though). Let's start at 0 ABY http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/0_ABY
  13. Dune has a lot more in the books. I think the original Dune took me several attempts to finish reading. Like Tolkien, Frank Herbert creates his own world.. word-usage and all. It really a struggle sometimes because it reads as a historical/religious text sometimes. But once you get past that, the books (as a whole series) are excellant. There's a lot of complex political, social, and family interactions that make it really interesting. I find the sequals and prequels written by Kevin J. Anderson and Brian Herbert much more narrative and easier to read.
  14. So far, Microsoft is given no indication it will support DirectX 10 on XP. It is a Vista exclusive. Given how things are integrated into Windows, a hack for XP would probably take a long time
  15. The book is Legacy of the Force: Betrayal, the first book in the Legacy series. Basically its post-NJO with Jacen turning to the Dark Side and the Galactic Alliance preparing for civil war.
  16. I found Serenity pretty boring in some parts. The action was decent, but the set up was slow... talking to explain the plot rather than just going ahead and moving things along.
  17. I remember some of their coding repositories were awefully slow. But maybe they've upgraded since I've used SF
  18. While I personally hate SF for some of its slow resources, I wish this project all the best. Looks like a good start and I hope we can provide some help here to this project
  19. Me thinks the aliens are delivering a message... we just fail to understand to understand math
  20. I know the_mask played some of the SW mods for Freelancer. I didn't really get into it myself, but some others of http://www.swcic.net have
  21. CAD always amuses me... if you haven't seen it already: http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/comic.php?d=20070312
  22. Well I meant Rebed as in "Rebellion editing" and not just limited to RebEd the program. The URL will remain the same, as it is already set and less likely to get spammed. The login requirement is also to avoid spam.. if there's a quicker way to set permissions on Mediawiki that doesn't require extensive code changes to implement, then point me to it. There is a sticky on the General Discussion area. But you may want to post one in the Rebellion Editing board as well.
  23. A wiki was created. It was used for a little bit, but then wasn't updated. http://www.swrebellion.com/rebedwiki/
  24. Must be the way IE renders it. Not enough space to fit the news row, so it pushes it down. Sorry.. I've been using Firefox myself Get me more news to post, and perhaps it will go down as new news is up
