There will be an .exe installer I haven't tried it on a French version. I believe the_mask may have a German version.. though I am just guessing. There will be many changes, I don't think we can even count them all. Thus the need for an installer script.

Reloaded is set during the Thrawn trilogy, so I don't think Vader will be making an appearance.

Right, Reloaded will still be within the confines of what is possible.. RebED and DLL hacking. It won't add any new features to Rebellion. Also note that this release is a beta. It is certainly not completed and there may be future releases as long as people want to work on it

You need 64-bit to really use more than 3 GB of memory. In 32-bit Windows, the addresses above 3 GB are reserved for hardware use. So if you have 64-bit XP, go for it. But Vista Ultimate comes with 64-bit and 32-bit version, so you can easily reinstall if you want to try things out. Here's a good article on the 3 GB limit http://www.dansdata.com/askdan00015.htm

I think Eville will have to completely redo every ship for shields again... it would just double his workload. I doubt things are going to change again, so you're pretty much stuck with it -
Created a new profile? We need to know which files you downloaded, what you used in your command line, and need to see your hw2.log file as well

You can't script new events nor add new characters. But you can use RebEd to replace characters, ships, etc. You can also rename planets. Generally you can't change who-owns-what-planet without hacking the save game file. -
I do.. mostly because it comes after Smallville. Quite an interesting horror show, though not really so much horror as drama and action. I think Jensen Ackles plays his character perfectly, much more interesting than his Smallville character.

You have to consider that 2005 was when Revenge of the Sith was released. So a lot of the focus was on the Clone Wars. I expect they needed a rest after NJO and CW to get a bearing on where to go next with the novels.

As far as I know, that file should have no malicious action. It is designed to help the site theme in IE7.

Vista should have DirectX 10.. its built in. Rebellion should work fine on Vista... assuming its Vista 32-bit version. For the 64-bit version, it probably won't even install. Man I kinda wish I could do that with Star Wars novels.. read them all straight through. Sadly I have no will to read them all again, esp after I know what will happen. I just reread my favorites.. and pick out the new SW book as it comes out. It usually means a couple months wait (or more)... so I read many other series besides SW. I did reread all the Clone Wars novels in-order, really because there is no bad book among them. A variety of stories and authors, but they still all seemed to find their way into the section worth rereading
