  1. I just tried to upload it (through the download, add download function), though got this message: "_ERRORINVEMAIL"
  2. Well, I've hosted it - what next? I'm guessing I need to PM Evaders?
  3. I've played the demo, and apart from a large number of bugs in the game (which were expected) the game play is alright. I've got many qualms with the game, such as the accuracy (or lack of) for neary every weapon and the most annoying is the weight towards vehicles. The ammount of times I've had people camping spawns in a tank or group of tanks, or having a jet fly over the spawn points and getting bombed over and over. Vehicles are fine, though considering that you have 32 people max per side, there should be less heavy armour, and more light vehicles (jeeps, Humvees, etc. ) to stop these annoying aspects of the game Nevertheless, I've found the demo fun - though nothing special
  4. Glad to hear I'm not the only one looking forward to seeing this model in game Well, I'm working on donig two things with the model before I link it anywhere - first is put it in a RMD file, to make it easier to extract and the other is to secure somewhere to upload it. I've got some webspace, so I'll try uploading it there. If you can't wait Toguro, PM me with you email address and I'll send you the model
  5. Thanks Tofu, and thanks to your sister as well. The game looks good - the graphics aren't the best, though if the gameplay is good it doesn't really mater. And from what I could tell, it looks like it will have a good story as well as gameplay. Well, this is another game I'll have to get
  6. Haha, my brother showed me the same Gif ealier in the week - still funny every time I see it Dazed and Confused Live - Led Zepplin followed by Paranoid - Black Sabbath
  7. I'll look it up tonight That's the one They need to make an episode with him and Jack in it (the 1st episode didn't have Sheppard's character down yet), it would probably be the funniest episode ever I never really liked Carter that much - McKay, on the other hand, is a good character - funny, whitty, arrogant and a good 'ol prick. He's great! Putting him along Sheppard seems to always work for getting a joke out
  8. Apart from the fact that thw ship is 2000 years older than an ISD, as MDk pointed out, I might also point out that they only destroyed the city - and not the planet. Given the time difference, I'd say without a doubt that an ISD would destroy one of those Sith Cruisers
  9. Awesome work again AdmiralToguroAni, better than the first Keep 'em coming
  10. I'm a fan of the SG series. They're a great watch, and have a good mixture of story, action and comedy - mind you, Carter's rambling can get teadious and boring but Jack usually fixes that with a quick joke. Personally, I think Jacks style of humour is a big reason for it's sucess - my brother, for one, use to watch it just because of Jack's humourous wit. It's good to see that they've continued the same style of humour over to Atlantis with the Major . . . guy . . . can't remember his name As for the game, I really havn't looked into it at all - got a link?
  11. Found this pic on my HDD, ah enough said http://img307.imageshack.us/img307/7831/ash7dt.jpg
  12. I realise that Sky, I just meant it was another FoCom unit and from your last post, about trying to forget the game name, I was just joking around Sorry if it came out the wrong way, that wasn't the intention Major wooness back at you Jahled Master of Gif Yoda's fidgeting ears came out perfect! Begun, these wiggling ears have ****** I found a few more renders, that are actually recent. I did this mouse in Maya for a project last semester - no textures though http://img347.imageshack.us/img347/226/mouse0io4qb.th.jpg Got a little screwed up thanks to a mixture of Maya and the G4's at the uni I didn't have a back up either, so I couldn't undo the damage - oh well And here's a work in progress . . . that's been a work in progress for a long time . . . about a year since I last worked on it It's of a custom desinged 'mech - I just need to make a lower torso and legs for it to finish the model . . .just http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/5664/pic059ma.th.jpg http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/9488/pic071zu.th.jpg
  13. Umm, not sure Been too long - though, considering I'd just started modelling - I'd say a long time, like a week or more, and then a long time after that "tweaking things" for the tank every now and again. The hover craft, and P-tower took considerably less time - like a day each if memory serves me right (which it rarely does )
  14. Am I the only one who still likes FoCom Well, you'll love this next render then Sky http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/1619/attacktank7eo.th.jpg I havn't actually touched most of these models since around 2002/2003 - that being said, this model (as well as the other) in 2001. I was actually surprised that they came out pretty good all things considering. And I found a P-Tower I did as well - this has had some smoothing done to it though before I re-rendered it http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/2362/ptower3rr.th.jpg
  15. Dug up some old models yesterday . . . umm, I use to be really sloppy with models, lots of artifacts Anyway, re-rendered a few . . . this is the first http://img301.imageshack.us/img301/5593/hovertank0eu.th.jpg I'll post some more tomorrow
  16. Karn almost laughed at Ulic's suggestion, rather he gave an over saracastic responce. "Well, Ulic - I was planning on leading an attack against that lead ISD. But, your suggestion sounds a little better." Karn looked over at Kre'nel, and grinned. She simply grinned back, then turned to face the bridge and spoke up. "Change heading for the alliance fleet, engines full forward and angle shields to deflect any inbound shots. We've got a clear path to freedom, lets use."
  17. Rantar listened to what Afton said, and slowly nodded. "That's along the lines I was thinking. If we're to function at our peak effectiveness, we're going to need to know what everyone else is thinking and how they're going to react - just like a family. "The only problem is, we need to let the Organisation know we exist. We've hit them a little, but it's nothing special yet - and all that work will be wasted if we don't strike soon." Rantar leaned forward over the table. "That'll mean you need to work on one team and get them ready ASAP - and by that, I mean a week or two. "It wont be easy, or that good for them - but we need a strike team ready soon." The serious look faded from his face, and Rantar leaned back in his chair and a big smile crept across his face. "So, that's business - now some pleasure. I've got the rest of the day off and nothing to do"
  18. If my scanner hadn't died last week I'd be happy to help. It's a good idea to have a digital backup, my poster's folds are a bit worse for wear. If I get it fixed soon, I'll give it a shot . . . mind you it'll probably be a jpeg or 2 @LLF: The poster had all the ships in the game on it, with a little description about the ship and fighters, it's cost, firepower and strength. It also had all the character on it with a little description. There are some other things on it, though its been ages since I've looked at mine
  19. Well, the Majestic appears to work fine as a model, though I've been trying a higher poly version with it as well - though that model seems to have a lot more problems with Rebellions 3d Engine so I'll probably leave it with just the one level of detail model for now, though I'll play with the LOD models first. The stats for the ship isn't going too smoothly, as I'm using official stats for all my ships and Rebellion . . . well, doesn't it's firepower comes out a lot lower than expected when compared against ships in Rebellion, as well as the fact that Rebellion doesn't take accuracy into account. I'm tempted to use the real stats and create new cards (without pics) of the original ships, though with official stats. Anyway, I'll need to find a place to host the model first - and I'll probably host it by itself without any card to start off . . . got to make the card after all
  20. It's great to hear that you're alright J, as well as your friends. I also hope that any other members of the forum that reside in London weren't affected by this cowardly act of violence by this scum that infects the earth. I say hunt them down like the vermine they are
  21. I agree with Kryt here, I'd think of Winter with a more aristocratic look . . . Trej has better stated what I meant. By more mature, I didn't mean older, just the way she looked. Trej's adjective better suited what I meant. Refined, distinguished and experienced are a couple of words that also come to mind - though not to a large extent where she seems arogant or have an air of superiority. I was thinking the same thing, just with different words
  22. My two cents. Whilst Dooku (with exception of his name) was definetely a better character, in practically every way, I still feel that Maul was killed off to quick. With little impact other than killing Qui-Gon and chasing the main characters around in Episode I, he never really did anything . . . like speak, except for what? One line It just felt like he was killed off way too quickly before he added anything to the story. Don't forget that Obi-Wan is now a Jedi Master, inferring large growth as a Jedi, and more importantly he trained Anakin. Who better to know his fighting style than his master? And who better to be a real challenge?
  23. @Floros - Wow, that's an awesome Moldy Crow. Sorry I missed it before Here's my next model installment - the design is heavily based around the original art work (and in someways, I consider it art work - like a Picasso ) for the Defender class Star Destroyer. Not sure what was going through the designer's mind when he created most of the Cracken's Threat Dossier ship designs, especially when he created a Star Destroyer that looks like a cruiser. Anyway, this is my end product . . . well almost end product - I've got a few more modelling things to do on the high detail model and textures, but that's all. I'm calling it a Region class Cruiser, it's design will be physically strong, have a mainly defensive aresonal (40 tbs, 20 lasers and 20 ion - damage not calculated yet), speed that matches an ISD as well as 4 squadrons of fighters and 3 regiments of troops - the ships' role is primarily long range, independant patrol for the outer rim style of areas where the ship has enough resources to deal with most outpost planets and garrisons bleh, bleh, bleh. Yeah, I'll save the rest for the ship's card Low detail version http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/4637/regionld014wt.th.jpg http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/6178/regionld022md.jpg http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/2196/regionld032ns.jpg http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/7435/regionld043ck.jpg http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/9057/regionld057my.jpg Current High Detail http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/3523/regionhd012ph.th.jpg http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/4613/regionhd029ep.jpg http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/1791/regionhd037vn.jpg http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/5900/regionhd049sb.jpg http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/5703/regionhd050ol.jpg
  24. I second AND third that For Daala, the bottom card better suits Rebellion better than the top. So who was she . . . prior to being turned into Daala that is? Your Boba Fett card looks awesome, though I don't think the lady you chose suits Winter. I usually think of someone more mature looking when I think of Winter
  25. The Hurt trilogy - Hurt covered by Johny Cash Followed by the original Hurt by Nine Inch Nails - as on the Downard Spiral album and once again Hurt - Nine Inch Nails and David Bowie
