Hey! D16! Long time no see! I gave up once I got to level 8, it does get annoying dying that far in and then having to re-do the entire game as well Oh, and the game as some memory leak bug that I've noticed. Keep playing it, and check the task manager and memory useage of whatever you use (FF or IE), it should keep going up and up and up. It usually peaks at around 250mb of memory usesage for me.

No problems there, I can't say I'm a fan of pirating, but I also can't say that I agree with paying thousands of dollars for software that's buggy and flawed. Well, at least when you're trying to learn it and build up a portfolio ... Anyway, try the Gimp software for something a little above Paint. It's free

@Mad: There's 4 of them in total, others have swearing in them so I didn't post them. @Tex: Bugger, those blokes are fast @Tofu: We've got that ad here, well the shorter version. Rather cool nevertheless

Free ... yeah. Umm, not even close, it's a couple of hundred dollars, but there is a 30 day trial version. It's a great plugin if you need to do liquids/fluids. Ah, some people have talent in the area even if they don't know. And if you don't, you'll obviously compensate with some other skill. Personally, I also try to distinguish the difference between a designer and artist - simply because the majority of artists usually have some deeper meaning to their works. I rarely do

Some very nice works there, better ones in the next area as well (if you get all right). http://members.optusnet.com.au/~tiwaz/lotr1.gif

No brief for it. I modelled a hand a while ago for a project, and then the suggestion went around to make it into Mitth's hand - and I had a different idea EDIT: I just had a play around with a plugin called glu3d, which simulates fluids via a rather intensive (yet far less intensive than Max's inbuilt) particles system. http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/9599/wineglassframe15.th.jpghttp://img155.imageshack.us/img155/3140/wineglassframe24.th.jpghttp://img155.imageshack.us/img155/4111/wineglassframe27.th.jpg http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/5610/wineglassframe30.th.jpghttp://img155.imageshack.us/img155/4888/wineglassframe39.th.jpghttp://img155.imageshack.us/img155/6429/wineglassframe40.th.jpg http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/1710/wineglassframe50.th.jpghttp://img155.imageshack.us/img155/2187/wineglassframe66.th.jpghttp://img155.imageshack.us/img155/460/wineglassframe70.th.jpg http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/4500/wineglassframe80.th.jpghttp://img155.imageshack.us/img155/5269/wineglassframe90.th.jpghttp://img155.imageshack.us/img155/6977/wineglassframe100.th.jpg

Oooh, this is fun! I've only gotten to level 7, 53% through so far ... touch pads make it a bit harder I think I'll try a mouse tomorrow

That's utterly sad ... I can't think of anything else to say

Gunner here, ready for duty and to fight to the end in the name of the Republic! I don't remember my clone's number though ... hmm, well I'll probably make up one again. I hope Duar is up for it (Marious I believe is he new name), but I can't vouche for him. In fact, I havn't heard from him in a while Might try a PM or something. Ulic, again, will hopefully be up for it. But he often has RL things that get in the way (like myself)

Ok, this is a summary post for everyone looking to help secure their Internet browsing. This'll include previously posted links as well as some new (admin, this may be something to re-post as a sticky somewhere?) What is Spyware What is Malware Preventing Spyware - Microsoft Information Website NOTE: All products listed here are trusted and not just randomly found. I've either used them, had them recommended to myself by people of high stature, or another user has recommended them Update Your Browser: Newly released browsers have new inbuilt safety features to protect users against pop-ups, hackers, phishing sites etc. Internet Explorer 7 - Downloadable, or passed on via automatic updates. Lots of feature improvements in IE7 that puts it in league of Firefox for once - and a lot safer. If you use IE6, I'd highly recommend updating as well as reading the website about how to use IE7's new features. FireFox 2 - Mozilla's next instalment to the ever popular FireFox series. Again, there are improvements to features and safety in the browser (I will point out an article at SlashDot did mention, however, there may be some serious flaws with FF2 and that it would be safer to stick with FF1.5 until an update is released). Opera 9 - Another Internet browser up for choice. Opera is quiet nice, I've used it before. It's secure, and low level - it also comes with a few inbuilt and downloadable plug-ins that are nice. It comes with P2P capabilities built into the browser, which are easy and apparently safe. I'm not much of a p2p-er, but I've used Opera for it once or twice and it's easy. It also has inbuilt support for Speech Recognition (though it is an additional download of roughly 11mb) - which is really great fun, browsing by talking (if you've got a mic). I've even used Opera's abilities to create a multi-modal website where it was properly set up for speech browsing. On line Scanners: There are now online scanners, designed to scan infected computers over the Internet. Live Care Online Scanner - An online spyware and malware scanner. Use this before installing your actual software removal tools, because some malware and even spyware will be able to hide itself or corrupt the removal tool if the tool is installed after the infection. I use to know of more online scanners - however, I can't find them at the present. Please NOTE: DO NOT SEARCH FOR SPYWARE REMOVAL TOOLS VIA GOOGLE ETC - CHANCES ARE YOU WILL GET ACTUAL SPYWARE INSTEAD - so play it safe and go by recommendations of trailed software and websites. Spyware and Malware Removal Tools: Various software kits designed to scan your computer and remove malicious software and/or Spyware - a must these days for any system (Mac or PC - even if those ads say Macs are immune, sorry that's a load of crap). Lavasoft's Ad-Aware SE Personal Addition - Probably the most popular Malware removal tool around. Not only popular but highly, highly effective. This, I strongly recommend for anyone and everyone to have. AVG Free Anti-Spyware - Released by AVG, who also make a powerful and free Anti-Virus software tool, allow free download of this spyware removal tool for non-business environments. If their Anti-Virus program is anything to go by, this will be another powerful option. However, I have no experience with this Spyware removal tool. Spybot Search and Destroy - Another powerful Spyware Removal tool. This program doesn't really play around with looking good as much as functioning well. If you suffer from Spyware, I recommend getting this in addition to other Spyware removal tools. A-Square - An list of malware/spyware removal toolkits, that was recommended to me. Use the download link and not the purchase. Windows Defender - Microsoft's free Spyware removal toolkit - meaning you need a legit copy of Windows as well as going through a validation scan. Simple, with a familiar interface to Explorer. Defender is powerful, streamline and supported by Microsoft and also runs constantly protecting you as you surf the net. It also supports scanning your system with (Something you should do as well, just because it helps protect as you surf doesn't mean you're completely protected. It's best to thoroughly scan your computer once a week, or more realistically once a month) quick (runs in the background without noticing, but lets a lot of spyware slip though it's fingers) and full scans. Again, I recommend this one - I run it as my primary defence now with AdAware to double check the system every now and again. Malicious Software Removal Tool - Another piece of software from Microsoft, this one aimed at removing Malicious software. Nothing much need be said here, it's another tool created by Microsoft. Again, I'd recommend this program - but also have another program to back it up. HiJackThis - Recommended by Evaders ... enough said More info? Well, it's used to identify your potential spyware on your system for diagnosing by other people. Forums and Communities: Forums to help out with Spyware and the sort. Lavasoft's Forum Microsoft's Spynet - Requires you to join the network. If you install Windows Defender, you will be asked to join the network during installation at some point. I'm yet to join. Spybots support forum - Doesn't look like this particular area allows replying, just browsing. Windows Live Care Community - Seems very limited, but I've only browsed it. Virus Scanners: I'm pretty sure everyone here knows what they are AVG Free Virus-Scanner - A free virus scanner recommended by Darth Tofu. The program is powerful, and comes highly recommended. Avast's Virus Cleaner - Intended to remove virus' if you know you have one. Avast Virus Scanner - A free virus scanner, quiet powerful and effective. I personally use this. The downside is you need to register to keep updating. McCafee Products - Purchasable software. McCafee use to be highly recommended, though I cannot really say these days. If they're like Norton, than they've lost their edge and just like to charge you a package and stop you from using other anti-virus software. Norton Anti-virus - Recommended by those who use it and haven't used other software suits, as well as other powerful companies. Personally, I'd stay away from it. Recently they've began to pull their thumb out, but with the host of annoyances you get from the program and the fact you have to pay for it when there are free suits available there's little point. Kaspersky - Recommended by a friend, however it does require purchasing.

Here are my two entries ... less than inspiring, but ..well .. yeah http://img120.imageshack.us/img120/8/sthelmetie1.png http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/2940/rebicon2uj1.png -
Ahh ... damn Hmm, did you download any other spyware removal tools? Do they work?

And here I thought I was the only one who liked this game!
Krytos replied to MarioFanaticXV's topic in Public Feedback
Definetely not the only one mate Welcome to the forums - stick around and check out more of the site. Even if you're not interested in the forums themselves, look at the download sections where there are replacement cards (unit and character stats), replacements models and a few Mods for the game Like TJ said, we had a thread a while ago where it was mentioned how to improve the AI ... alas, I'm pretty sure it was lost. Only a month of two ago our servers crashed and we unfortunately lost 4 months of posts -
Randomness from the world of news! Are games really worth it? There's a place on the net for everyoneeven the boring Who said pink is a tough colour? Umm .. k, guess the other candidate sucked ----- Hey, where's D16 these days?

Hmm, I'm having a few problems at the moment - my image is done, just a bucket head, nothing else really worked - but I can't access ImageShack at the moment ... I'll try again later -
I'll second AdAware - it's a fantastic SpyWare Malware removal tool. I'll also add to it Windows Defender First off, you need a legit copy of Windows for this program. Now, Defender is a bit different too AdAware. AdAware is a program that you run to search for the spyware, like an anti-virus tool. However, it's not dynamic. Defender, while no where near as good as AdAware, is a simple and allows two levels of system scanning - but also works in real-time, so is constantly checking the cookies you download. That's not to say to use it by itself - heck, the Microsoft website suggests AdAware as well! Secondlly, I'd suggest upgrading your Internet browser to either Internet Explorer 7 or Fire Fox 2 (Personally, I feel safer with FF1.5 after hearing about a lot of bugs in FF2 )

Nice Mad - I was going to throw some stuff together tonight if you still want.
