It's hard getting a satisfying unit out of this, isn't it? I'm still not entirely happy with mine either.

I assume your referring to "Force powers aren't inherently good or evil; it's how you use them," like Kyle Katarn said in JK:JA? If so, then yeah, I agree. Oh, and you can find so much random stuff that was once in the game. I found some text lines like "Your fleet was destroyed in a hyperspace accident" and "Your fleet escaped destruction in a hyperspace accident". It's odd that they wouldn't remove these outdated files, but considering there's thousands of entries in the DAT file I understand why they missed some, or just plain didn't do it.

Could you pm me the death star you had (if you still have it)? I'd like to see the code. I've been working on the Death Star on the side for a couple of weeks, and I'm kinda stumped.

The Rebels aren't exactly flushed with personnel. They need to use everyone they have in as many tasks as possible.

Their in the MT_COMMANDBAR.dds file. The problem is, while there's plenty of space for new icons, we need to be able to edit the mtd file to direct the program to the icon's location in the picture.

Even if it works only a while, it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than what we've had until now...NOTHING. Thanks, Bodin, we owe you one.

BALANCE IS NOT REALISTIC!!! You're supposed to use tactics to win, not have a counter and equivalent to every enemy unit!

Why wouldn't the Emperor be in a fleet? He can use battle meditation, it's fun to lead massive fleets to battle. What better reason do you need? He's a Sith Lord, I think he'd rather watch some enemies blow up than deal with bureaucrats on Coruscant.

Well, do Snowspeeders and Corvettes have anything in common in their unit code? If they do, is it the same for the VSD or is it different? The best method is probably to compare and contrast the units to see what's the same and what's different. That could help narrow down the likely problems.

I can edit the dat files. I've been doing a lot of that the past couple of days adding in my faction and its units, et cetera...and I can beta, if you like.

As soon as we can contact the support or whatever at Petro, I'm asking what possessed them to add blaster rifle-wielding Penguins...
