  1. However, part of playing EaW is the ability to change the Star Wars timeline (i.e. the Empire crushing the Rebellion, Obi-Wan living to help defeat the Empire, etc.). With that in mind, we could probably do something with lua or something so that if Kyle comes in contact with Obi-Wan then he trains him in the Force and he switches out the blaster for a lightsaber. We could make it a story plot thing...

  3. Nobody managed to get the tools before they got yanked by the devs? If someone did and they didn't upload them, they should probably be hunted down and interrogated...
  4. I'm sure it's possible with lua scripting, but I question whether or not it can be done right now.
  5. Kyle doesn't even know he's Force Sensitive in this time frame. And yeah, Mara Jade rarely/never used a lightsaber.
  6. Ghost in the Shell is pretty good. There are plenty of other sci-fi anime too (Evangelion, Full Metal Panic, Rahxephon, etc.)
  7. That's the problem. Since when in reality did every unit have a counter-unit? When did we start building one vehicle to take out one particular type of vehicle? Real weapons are stronger against specific things, what counts is how strong the weapon is, what properties it has, and how many of them you can stack on a tank.
  8. It wasn't the health, the enemies just couldn't hit it. They still can't. I upped the health and shields (still lower than Slave I) but it no longer matters because it seems like nobody can hit the Firesprays. They have fighter-class armor too.
  9. Even if they don't, the fact that it's in there means it may be possible to mod it in, if required.

  11. Yeah. My mod requires the ability to bring henchman. Then again, I'm making a new unit, so maybe it'll work.
  12. Lucas originally had plans for a set of twelve movies in Star Wars. As time passed ( and age set in) he dropped the tally to nine, and finally to six. Unless he changes his mind, Ep III was the last true Star Wars movie. Not a bad way to go out, though.

  16. heheh. You're AT-ATs look like mine...towering over all things, so big you usually can't see all of it at once.
  17. I think all you have to do is add shield health to the unit in the xml.
  18. I'm not sure hero squads are editable. I tried giving Darth Vader a twelve-unit TIE fighter squadron, and it didn't do anything.
  19. Most of the total conversions have been started, but none of them can be finished or even come close to being finished until mod tools are out. Until then, the answer is never. After that, it's based on how much free time they have.
  20. Making the unit not invincible. My first version was so weak it was killed by Pirate Frigates in a few seconds (not sure how that happened). I tried upping the stats and it became utterly invincible. I'm still tweaking it until it's realistic to the true capabilities of the Firespray craft.
  21. Hmm. It didn't crash when it left the ground for me. I haven't tried putting it on the edge of the map yet.
  22. I already have black stormtroopers. I'll upload the skin with this post. As for the flying AT-ST, someone tried that, but I don't think they got it working. Mikan's got a lot of luck though, so he'll probably get it.
  23. Better to keep unmixed squads, at least in terms of weapon range if not weapon/unit type.
