  1. Good stuff Fellas! I can't really draw myself; I just like mashing up other people's efforts. But a good thread.
  2. Ich kann meinen Gurt nicht zumachen. Ich hatte gern eine Tasse Tee. Ich habe den Knochel gebrochen.* *May not be entirely true.
  3. Can someone who speaks German please ask this dude what he needs to know in German so he can...sort of make sense!
  4. Now that's a name I haven't heard in a very looong time. Gerald the Mouse.
  5. Are you from the UK dude? Everytime I hear the word 'Dead Ringers' I can hear John Culshaw being Tom Baker being Doctor Who #4 saying 'I'll be with you last week.'
  6. Intrigued by this after GAT's endorcement, I ventured to my local library to use their broadband computers, because when I tried it last night on my dial up I was informed it would take 21 minutes. Unfortunately, it was blocked because of the word 'tasteless.' I tried in vain to tell a member of staff it wasn't porn but only something to do with Obi Wun and some buying some bread or something.
  7. Have I ever mentioned that I was in class with Pink Floyd's drummer, Nick Mason's daughter Cloe, during my teenage years? She was a right stuck up snob/bitch. Anyway: Fun Boy Three-Our Lips Are Sealed
  8. Trooper RJ 591 had expected a more glorious end in his service to the Emperor: http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0QQD1AnATOoDaUl5f9Sl5vGlTypOU7JpjrrIR5hj41vrlCz5zekMXTHaIvyjBKL4e0gV!KKOTjohjoT6iaN!j3Ut!ftS4phxdMdDjBAva5BM/slip.gif Tar M78 for uploading that for us whilst my PC is on the blink!
  9. I'm not entirely sure I know what's going on, but doing somekind of edit with the cards may not be such a bad thing... sorted the executive class ones from the shop floor ones in terms of quality... however you would need broadband, which allas I don't have.
  10. This is very true my friend.
  11. Popular I don't think so in the wider gamming world; but enduring. How many other games of it's age are still loved with such vigour? Retro!
  12. Indeed dude! Some people get off on games where you rush around shooting things, driving extremely recklacely, or bashing other people up with mystical martial arts or what ever! Give me six advanced ship yards, the option to build a Star Destroyer, and a galaxy to roam... anyday! Imagination...perhaps? I was playing D&D from 1980...
  13. Cool. People's interest in this and that comes and goes. Personally i'm still amazed at how Rebellion is still my favourite game, despite it's age. Graphic wise it's not a cascade of optical delight, game play isn't intensive and in your face; it's actually quite mellow in at times stressfull way, and the GAME DOESN'T CONSIST OF LEVELS!!!!! YAY! I can have an ongoing game in a SW Universe I can tinker how I want ongoing on my HD in the background for as long as I want. Call me blinkered but I can't put my finger on another SW game that enables me to assemble fleets of Star Destroyers; name them how I wish, fill them with regiments of AT-ATs and Stormtroopers, and assign individual characters with command ranks, oh and roam the galaxy in search of worlds to Imperialize. Love it.
  14. This amused me when I found in the dusty bowels of the internet earlier: http://www.cowjam.co.uk/scatgrannies/images/dog_magnet.jpg

  16. Los Calckakis-Santiago De Chuco -Mainly Argentinian guys playing Andean stuff.
  17. I love Christmas. Christmas Day is the best munch I get to have all year, and I get to drink Champaign BEFORE LUNCH without feeling guilty; especially cause it's with my family. Yay for Christmas; Woo for Santa!
  18. I can't keep up! Congrats Scathe, and: http://www.maiga.net/_carptank/woo03.gif
  19. My efforts failed. However, I found an excellent Woo!! this morning for you dude.
  20. Cor blimmy! Well done dude! As per normal I have absolutely nothing prepared so i'll open up PS after some supper!
  21. I know! Not a lot I could do about it. If Luke's got enough Force rating he automatically wins the Final Battle what ever you've got lying about on Coruscant. Such is life! But it has made this a challenging game given i'm now extremely paranoid about the rebels attacking Imperial Centre to win the game. Though having said that i'm sure how they are going to with a shielded Death Star and an entire Imperial Fleet in orbit... La_Forge: Always a pleasure my friend! My PC is giving me a hard time at the moment uploading stuff to Yodas Ears so I had to do it from an Internet cafe inbetween scaling a few trees this morning. I think I sort of know how to do the thumbnail thingy...i'll give it a bash when my the newsgroup is not giving me gip. Oh yea: Star Destroyers by Mask in the downloads bit here, other stuff you might have seen (tis why I didn't zoom in on them) topity secret. Someone else contribute now (it's pretty easy!) or i'll bore you with the Battle of Amorris where that Sixth Fleet also had four Allegiance class Star Destroyers, which was fun. I've already got the pictures, sooo...
  22. The Battle of Danuta. Mod. Here are a few screen captures of the Imperial Sixth Fleet in action, now i've figured out this IrvanView what not. The action takes place around day 830 or so in the Atrivis sector over the Danuta system. The Imperial Sixth Fleet is essentially fifteen Mark II Star Destroyers with escourt of Lancer Frigates, Strike Cruisers, and Assault Transports; plus the Harpago, with some lovely gravity wells. This is the core of the Sixth Fleet. You almost feel for the pityful rebels. As you can see the Sixth Fleet have adopted standard tactics. The Star Destroyers are about to engage the rebel cruisers whilst the Lancers and Imperial Fighters are mopping up the rebel fighters safely behind the SD's. The Mon Calamari Cruiser'scaptain really shouldn't have said that about the Sixth Fleet's Admiral's mother. Very foolish! "I LOVE THE SMELL OF TURBO LASERS IN THE MORNING!" Gone. Imperial Star Destroyers bullya rebel transport. Closer. The erradication begins! I think the rebels should have stayed home in bed. Here'sa rebel frigate overheating... Foolish rabble! Anyway, now i've got this screen capturing lark sorted out more should be on the way! I'm just about to move two Imperial Fleets into the rebel Kanchen sector; the Sixth and the Second. Luke got captured by Vader and went to Coruscant for the final battle; which he one. But I don't know where Palpatine and Vader are, because the nearest rebel planet declared neutrality whilst everyone was on the way! The tension mounts!
  23. As am I. Deep breath and fingers crossed.
  24. Ok. I think we can reasonably assume this is bantha waste. Should have realized before I posted it; my apologies for wasting the efforts of your respective fingers....
  25. This reminded me of our resident credit card salesman.... probably posted before...
