Death toll now about 125,000. This was obviously a post that went wrong, cause otherwise you and me have a problem about your grasp with what goes on when you turn away from your monitor. I'll let you say your piece about how it was sort of phrased wrong or something like that. Simply hilarious to see footage of people drowning.

Not that i've seen. Tell you what, email me and i'll WinRah you some stuff... quick and easy.

Begs the question... Why bother making the card in the first place then Makes sense; but perhaps the cardmaker was just starting out or getting to grips with what card you're on about! Sure, the database is drenched with loads of rubbish, but in a strange way, this is a positive reflection of the game's original magic! Unless you are reprograming stuff or what not, you don't have to be a boffin to contribute to basic stuff like new cards, and especially cards that mean something to an individual personally in their own vision of the SW universe. Not everybody can claim to be artists or know how to handle stuff like Photoshop all the way, but contributions are exactly that all the same; little puffs of someone elses' imagination which I think is cool, despite a great deal of it being untouchable in my own personnal games.. My first cards were absolute graphic crap! But I stayed the course and got a bit better. http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0TAChAgMYereWPsBdW3pMNqA9kqmCgqXtxmEuFKQMYTvm!2oTbVP0DRAMMd5wOIysktp9HHpqY2ZeDFcb4NN5egIiIjB6xOZ9uP8i3zYLJhzPhIet656R7w/Jahled_Destroyer.gif This, Imperial Jahled Class Destroyer, found life after a six pack and one hell of a boring day... I forgot to upload it as well.* *Email me should you want this Tirpitz of the Imperial Navy!!

Depends in what you want to do. If you want to have something in your fleets slightly more realistic; like mile-long Star Destroyers not being wooped by four Corellian Corvettes for example, adjust the stats as you see fit accordingly... Have a good scroll through the card data base; you should get your bearings as far as the rubbish and the quality goes... It's hard to answer this one, the beauty of the game..and the Reb Editor is it enables you to tinker things as you see fit..

Besides an obvious visual improvement, i'm still a bit mystified as to what chnages there are..

Anyway to run game without the CD?
Jahled replied to The Crazy Psychopath's topic in General Discussion
I call poodoo on this statement. I have never seen any orange fish with that engine installed in them. That, and with all the uploading I do to torrent sites, I alone should have blown up the world by now if that staement was true anyhows. *Raises the jolly roger* YARRR!!!! You have not truely lived unless you have put a small orange fish with these properties in your ear... *waves hand* Go to a pet shop you must! Tell them your Auntie Mabel said to do it, or you just saw it on cabel... I assumed everybody knew... -
Well stone me people! Mask, you never stop amazing me with your work, and if anyone has kept the magic going over the years, your name might just be bang ontop of the pile. I say this as someone who has of course got to know you over the years and obviously shares a passion for Rebellion... I doff my Stormtrooper helmet to you for this and all the magic that has kept the spirit burning all this time... Floros; Krytos; people, this is excellent! Welcome home! It's just these sort of efforts that Mask has kinda been soldiering on with alone all this time! Top stuff and on behalf of all the people who still kinda have time for a tab of galactic conquest, I salute and thank you! Darn woo! Edit: REMEMBER PEOPLE! Rebellion doesn't like ingame models sharing textures, it will cause you tactical game to crash as soon as it ends, so for the time being do not load Mask's models to multiple ship slots, for example ISD marks I & II, your game will crash...

A tab more explaination is required for me to start importing stuff into my files; i've lost to much in the past experimenting with stuff i've been blind to... and bear in mind it's still Christmas and I won't be thinking straight for a couple of days to make rational clicks anywhere other than 'yes' when it says shut down?'

Anyway to run game without the CD?
Jahled replied to The Crazy Psychopath's topic in General Discussion
With todays's technology you have the option of using a CD recorder of making a copy of the game for your personal use given you already own a genuine copy of the game. This will save you the utter horror of experiance of hearing your beloved Rebellion Disk die in your E-Drive. This is a very legal use of using a CD recording facility. You are, however not at liberty to give this copy to anyone, even on the context 'Hay, it's a cool game! Try it out! See what you you think!' That would be against international law and according to Microsoft or Lucasarts cause a dimensional rift in the fabric of neutral probability drives which lie dormant in small inconsequentianal orange fish... But yes there is; forgotten the exact detail, but you create a virtual drive...hopefully one of the clued-up will pick up on this... -
Had eight pages in The Independent and the same in the Times to digest this with my breakfast this morning. So I gave up reading the paper. Poor, poor people! Word's can't really get close to the horror on this one. For me, all the folks I know in South East Asia are safe and sound; I hope you get to hear from your's swiftly and soon dude.

Is there a way to change the assigned shortcut keys?
Jahled replied to The Crazy Psychopath's topic in General Discussion
The shortcut keys are a bit wierd, but helpfull when they become second nature. My fingers spend alot of their time using: ALT+5 Idle characters ALT+6 Active characters ALT+7 Idle Shipyards ALT+8 Idle Training Facilities ALT+9 Idle Construction Facilities There are other useful ones, but like Scathe I have no idea where my manual is at this moment in time... however, right clicking on the advisor droid gives you all the options day to day gameplay should require if your feeling lazy; building stuff etc... just a click away! -
Well with my new DVD drive and boxed DVD set of Star Wars can at last contribute to this topic. Rah! Having spent all of today 'catching up,' on modified original Star Wars viewing, I finally got to the end of Return of the Jedi with Hayden materializing and to my horror DIDN'T MIND! I haven't actually seen the movies looking so rich since the beginning quite frankly, and have had nothing but a very happy day reliving a glimpse of the original innocence I experianced when my father took me to see the first one in 77 or whenever it was. Magical. For a couple of years now, i've been at the mercy of dodgy Chinese DVD pirates taken from laser disk, and realize how much i've been robbed of GL's broader vision as a consequence. I'll be binning them now; GL has at last given me access to the movies I love so much, with 1000% more quality.

I must confess for this sort of thing troubling me from the onset; who around here still playing the game is actually doing so without the joys of mods and/or new models... ...I'm seriously frustrated right now, my PC is not allowing me to upload stuff to my MSN space without crashing... soooo.... er.. i'll be very patient... until I figure out what's up.

Well, you got your wish, Thrawn. It doesn't matter, though...the right man won. Good to see you TF dude! Regards to BBL and the kids. I read a quote in a book yesterday which isn't to out of place here that made me laugh like a goblin: 'Washington couldn't tell a lie, Nixon couldn't tell the truth, Reagan couldn't tell the difference...'

I was wondering that.

Yes indeed, in Hungary too Me and my folks really enjoyed that bottle of Hungarian 'Bull's Blood,' that came with the box your brother gave me when I met up with him here in London... we drank it with our Christmas dinner, and general verdict was it was ONE FINE WINE! Thankiness once again!

'Singing in the rain' always reduces me to tears when the curtain is drawn at the end... But fluffy tears...

Dan Quale was asked what he would do if he found $100,000 in the road. 'If it belonged to a poor man I would qive it back.'
