  1. WOOO YAY INDEED! TO THE FRIDGE... cause this party's swinging... and we're all going to see in the dawn... with fun and fluffiness... had by all! ...and I got to say well done getting this far, you beat me by a longish wisker!
  2. Good post with some good points. I think one problem Lucasarts have is their link to the Star Wars franchise; which has a collective ego larger than the bubble in which it floats... and this seeps down to even non-SW titles. I can't comment on more recent releases because I have not been fortunate enough to play them, but I do agree with you in that Lucasarts do seem to view themselves and their projects as if on-par with Microsoft in their sense of self-importance. In another respect I think they are just plain mean especially with their older titles.
  3. I just found this today. It's an online film about some dweebs who built a life size Millenium Falcon in their garden!!! Unfortuately all the headphones in the internet cafe were being used by kids playing Counterstrike, so I could only watch without sound, which subsequently got boring after a few minutes.
  4. Just read and answered post; but I didn't get a PM! Mystrious! http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0SgDRAoIW6mj1qmmFNMl12UNPicMamZhZZHTnSEd4GcnbaxeWlZo06GvwXbCOzxBGULoXIeTFX0Ro7iJxVSwrXsH93xIgI7yA8m80UIhZdVZY53CGnStVWw/drill_anim.gif?dc=4675465010949499233
  5. I gotta agree in that I was pretty surprised by the revelation concerning the clones... and I wonder if we're in for some Mandalorian surpises given the ESB states that 'Boba Fett was wearing the armour of an evil group of warriors defeated by the Jedi during the Clone Wars'...
  6. Yo Dinochick! My sinisteragents in the field alerted me to this lost footage from The Empire Strikes Back... BTW; La_forge, It just occured to me that playing golf with a light saber wouldn't really work...you would spend an open ended amount of time at the first..
  7. Edit: Stone me, it works! You can url link on emoticons! Woo and rah!
  8. Ah! So that's who it is! I wasn't really looking at her face...
  9. If it will help, we can all promise to be very nice to Mrs Fett and send her kind emails saying what a fluffy and lovely person she is!
  10. The Saga continues... http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0RQAkKGsVh*5Md70nh4a*M3O5gpzVRrBuH10e!4S!9S415ApmbTNSpxP0zIMrw7Ey0qQuH4wVl040!cXXqdGlcDKhnZdcRfc1ct4bwnm2kMs/spookycat.gif?dc=4675464455876547647 Anyway, a huge Woo to everyone who frequents these boards. We may not be the largest Star Wars community in cyberspace but we sure as hell kick butt when it comes to the Woo-Factor*. I've done my idle share of touching base with a few web-based communities over the years, but none have the enduring pull of this one. There's also something quite nice about having friends as far a field as Costa Rica, Germany, Holland, Hungary, and the States... who, despite not having ever met in person, have come to value a great deal over the years. You'll forgive my indulgance of Img spooky cat; it only really works on our nice black back drop! *The Woo-Factor: Is something onlya fellow woo-trooper can understand! Edit: Goodness gracious Woo! Just as I pressed submit this little gem materialzes on my screen! Romance.
  11. Both the Leia and Mon Mothma side of things I will try and work upon tomorrow... i'll let you know how I get along in a day or two...
  12. Not a single, but an excellent CD: 'The Festival in the Desert,' which was recorded at a music festival, strangely enough, in a desert; a very large one; sort of involving Tunisia... features such luminaries as Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin, Ali Farka Toure from Mali (his CD 'Radio Mali,' is absolutely beautiful...) and is seriously infectious... highly recomended!
  13. EXTREME WOO WARNING!!! Never fool around with your lightsaber! Even in the hands of a Jedi professional they can still be very dangerous. Click here for a video with sound; though I couldn't get it to work. Edit: 50 pages!
  14. Bouncing is fun! The more hands on deck the better...
  15. So I take it Tex now has some insight into my aspiring vocal-acting talents and yo' movie prowess; Mask dude!
  16. I found this today. I think it's utterly brilliant. The same guy did this as well. (It's fun and games until someone looses an eye!) Oh, and this! Using his powerful Marmot powers, Kev sensed danger, ...probably an eagle high above. Percy couldn't help but wonder how he managed to get himself into this predicament in the first place
  17. Indeed. Simply incredible stuff. Outstanding! I believe it serves to point out the extreme crap of the rebel victory at Endor; simply impossible! With so many mile-long citadels armed for the purpose of destruction only, it seems hard to imagine how civilian-converted cruiseliners could offer to much serious challenge... Bare in mind TIE fighters were designed and flown to be better than the rebellions's motley-ccollection of fighters... as quoted in the original books! It goes to show that Endor was simply crap.
  18. Yo! I was only ever addressing Rank Xerox's request for possible Thrawn voice replacements over Palpatine; nothing to do with Reloaded! We'll see how I go at the moment; mainly due to the fact i'm doing most of my intereneting from an internet cafe; and whilst the Somalians who run it are cool (i've taught them to support Arsenal! ) I don't fancy lurking in a dark corner saying things like 'I HAVE ARRIVED!' into a mic for hours on end... hell they all look over my sholder with smiles whenever I open up b3ta.com; or some of the projects concerned with this site. Mask; the qualified graffic designers peering over my sholder were seriously impressed with your little movie! I did have to explain the 12 kilometer, super-laser element side of things, but once they grasped that they were extremely impressed! Anyway, we'll see how much I can do on the piece of crap at home.
  19. .... ...... ..... err....
  20. Yes,it's verydangerous around here. and perhaps a little wierd...
  21. Thank you dude!
  22. Long before I joined the team dude, so I didn't know! It wasn't to be taken seriously or anything to do with reloaded! You shall voice Thrawn! Anyway; I need someone to remind me of where all the major character lines are in the game using resource hacker! Anyone!
  23. Dwang! Thanks guys for your continued advice in my blind-quest in the world of PC's! Mask, tomorrow i'll email you regarding the state of affairs... at home now; and subsequently unable to url stuff... but I trust you all checked out John Clease's government information broadcast! Hoopefully with such knowledge we can prevent La_Forge flipping out and killing people...
  24. That is simply brilliant! Click here for fluffiness and extreme wooness! But I wonder if our Protector friend heeded the warningsbefore he entered into bouncing combat with you... Now, this may or may not work given I cant be bothered to host it myself, but it's a government information broadcast that is very useful for information concerning Ninjas. Click here to learn the inner secrets of Ninjitsu and why they flip out and kill people. Edit: Ok, no fluffiness uptop; linked wrong one and can't find original Ninja-Panda gif! Zouch!
  25. Given it's poring with rain i'll play around with my mic this afternoon! BTW: I've forgotten where the Wav files are for the major characters in the game using resource hacker, anyone?
