You might not see it, but I've got Thrawn from "TIE Fighter" game as my avatar.

You can extract most of the things from Tie Fighter and X-Wing with this program (http://outlaws.mattes-flo.de/dll/conman.zip).

Just open the .lfd files in the Resource directory of Tie fighter and extract the files there.

I think the voices had the ending .voic and if you renamed them to .voc you can play them with Winamp for example.

Other files, like the music have the ending .gmid and are really .mid files...

Thats good, but TF has only a few Thrawn's phrases, not suitable for SWR.

Mask, great thanks. Thrawny.gmid rulz! And Imperial march always makes me stand. Well, still looking for Thrawn's suitable phrases. I've read that Rebellion Reloaded will also have Thrawn as a major. What wavs would be used there?

try to buy one simple...is 2-3 USD I gues...anyway poot a paper befor it when you speak and then use a sound program to "coolerize" your voice

I'll be happy to voice some Thrawn lines if someone directs me as to what they want. Being British, a middle class nerd, and with a hint of private education; i'm confident I can sound like a Grand Admiral.

Yes, Thrawn will be major character in RR. We have already got some beta cards for him. We also need to have him on some event cards...etc, and yes, we will need a good voice for him too.

I can pull of Mexican accent, Colombian Accent and argentinian accent...

 

I think Thrawn'd be best if Jahled did it. And even if Thrawn had a jamaican accent, a couple of Zoot's special Fosters cans will do the trick...

I don't want to compete against my buddy Jahled here, but I did train for some time now to sound like the guy from Tie Fighter, although they used two separate voices for Thrawn there.

Sorry if it came over a bit edgy, but I was looking forward to this for a long time now. And the chances of me being a Grand Admiral again are very slim, since I wouldn't join the navy, the few boats Germany has anyway.

Yo! I was only ever addressing Rank Xerox's request for possible Thrawn voice replacements over Palpatine; nothing to do with Reloaded! We'll see how I go at the moment; mainly due to the fact i'm doing most of my intereneting from an internet cafe; and whilst the Somalians who run it are cool (i've taught them to support Arsenal! ) I don't fancy lurking in a dark corner saying things like 'I HAVE ARRIVED!' into a mic for hours on end... hell they all look over my sholder with smiles whenever I open up b3ta.com; or some of the projects concerned with this site. Mask; the qualified graffic designers peering over my sholder were seriously impressed with your little movie! I did have to explain the 12 kilometer, super-laser element side of things, but once they grasped that they were extremely impressed!

 

Anyway, we'll see how much I can do on the piece of crap at home.
