  1. I'm not a particular fan of most horrors, especially those in the ranks Scream or even the new movie Hostel. I prefer the horrors that are far more psychological - such as Se7en and perhaps Saw (have it on DVD, just havn't watched it yet) which I've heard is more in that realm.
  2. I did and I still don't get it... Ditto Perhaps itt's another joke you'd get if you lived in America?
  3. Awesome! Aliens is one of my favourite movies! Can't wait for the rest
  4. Modding games is dependant on the game. Some games are a lot easier to mod than other. Command and Conquer games, for instance, were easy because they were data driven, and stored the data in .INI files that were simple to edit. A game, such as Rebellion prior to the editors released for it, would have been very hard to edit. . . . anywho, like Mad said - you'll need to go to BfME II to see how to edit it.
  5. I've seen a few of these before as well, alsways impressive. I like seeing some of the bugs in earlier games that can be easily exploited - like in HL1 where you can run right past the Head Crabs without worrying about them Still, I prefer to take my time with games and enjoy them
  6. I was wondering that too, seeing that a while back he posted that he was back for good Also missing, ADarkJedi44 and Stratus

    Wooness Jahled!! Happy 4000th post
  8. If you can't get the CD to work, and you need a new copy - I'd suggest either trying through LucasArts (however, I recal someone saying that they tried this without sucess) or try eBay. On eBay, there are usually a few copies floating around for a reasonable price.
  9. Good man AI. Good man. I'll second that
  10. I thought that was rather good Definitely will be using that one when I'm back at Uni. "I'm not a mocodity"
  11. Congrats Mad I remember, not long ago, celebrating your 4000th post
  12. It basically shows how a website, which you choose, links to other websites. Here's a screencapture* of it (you'll need to click full screen to see it properlly): http://img318.imageshack.us/img318/1983/matrixweb0ni.th.jpg *I originally used paint for the capture after uninstalling PS, so I might make another one if you can't see it properlly thanks to Paint's original compression
  13. Smoking gif Jahled Woo woo to 100 pages of animated gif goodness!!!
  14. Congrats DC ! ! And in the time I've been here, it's been a plesure knowing you. Here's to another 3 years, and many more.
  15. Well, things aren't going so grand on the modelling front. Apart from the fact that I can't fix a bug with the model, for various reasons I wont have access to 3ds max or equivalent to work on it for some time - so there's going to be a ponderous wait on it I'm afraid
  16. Not bad, I started (foolishly) reading it backwards. Some of the comics are priceless, others are good. I'm yet to read a bad one, so it should keep me entertained for a while
  17. How about an Australian Prime Minister? (Who says all Aussies are drunks ) Bob Hawke, our Prime Minister from 1983-1991, held a world record for drinking. "His academic achievements were possibly outweighed by the notoriety he achieved as the holder of a world record for the fastest consumption of beer: two and a half pints in eleven seconds" Back on topic, nice pics J and Olorin - keep up the good work
  18. Welcome back Crowin. Good to see old members coming back, and with a new TC. I'll have to try your TC sometime next week when I get my rebellion computer back.
  19. *clears throat* [annoying, off key singing]Happy birthday to you!!![/terrible singing] How old are you turning this year BS? Just so we know when you're gonig to retire
  20. I've got nothing against muslims, or any faith for that mater. However, I think those people in the Middle East, part of these riots are foolish and over reacting. As one person interviewed on the topic said (and this isn't a direct quote) - "we have to put up with anything they say (such as being infildals) or do to or about our beliefs, but we can't do anything about theirs." I'm a firm hater of double standards and just think it's stupid what some of these* people do. Ah, I love irony *Once again, this isn't a generalisation - after all, being a muslim doesn't mean you're violent or going to flip out after something bad is said about your religion.
  21. Bingo I might have also gotten up very late today . . . midday just doesn't seem like the morning anymore That's exactly how you do it A little trick I picked up on is to quote a post that has something unusual in it - read the code for how they did it . . . and then "borrow" it
  22. Nice ones guys McOwned: http://www.greenpeace.org/raw/image_full/international/photosvideos/photos/ronald-mcdonald-is-arrested-in.jpg Speaking of drunks: http://www.rofl.name/owned/owned_drunk_baby.jpg http://www.shs.lane.edu/webdesign/ryall/drunk%20cat.jpg EDIT: And this has always been a favourite of mine http://asylumn.net/public/IncomingBaby.jpg
  23. Well, it looks like the BSD is planned: Watchkeeper I'm not sure which side the ship will be for however.
  24. Ah, Tofu - look at the time that Scath wrote He was talking about during the day, not at night
  25. Welcome to the forums SilverSSJ I think most people end up finding the Rebellion AI too easy, even in the most difficult settings. There are two solutions to this problem - first is multiplayer, though like you said it can be a nuisance to try and get going. Second, is using RebEd to edit different things about the game. The program allows you to edit a lot, costs and stats of all units and structures, edit atributes about characters and even the galaxy. Cain posted a thread of a few things that can be done to make the AI harder. http://www.swrebellion.com/forums/postt3119.html It works, though I still find it's best to give your opponent more of an advantage by making their ships cheaper and having Coruscant (one of two planets that you can set up what facilities you start with) start off with advanced shipyards etc.
