Woo, that's already a lot of polys. How many sides does the main barrel of the ship have ? You could try to reduce the polycount significantly by reducing the number of sides for the round objects. Something like 12-14 should work perfectly, since higher numbers always look good in your 3D prog, but eat up a lot of polys For example JM helped me reducing the polycount of my SSD with suggesting to reduce the sides of the engines to 14 for each tube Btw, what ship-class is this ? What I could hear in the lower quality notebook speakers, that are the only thing left to me at the moment, they were the same as anyone elses. Maybe a little static in the background, but I could let it pass through a filter with CoolEdit and it should be perfect (that is, if I'm recalling the right files here ).
