  1. Nah, they also showed it in capitalistic Germany's shows for youngsters. Otherwise me and Trej wouldn't have immediately recognized the little mole. Hope he'll still be on some channel when I got offspring some day Trej, if you download UltraEdit from the link above and open the mentioned files in hexmode (the H letter in UE), then you'll quickly see the patterns we described above.
  2. Well, I'm asking the same question on the index of my homepage So I think I'll go with Scream and I know what you did last summer. .... oh yeah and Showgirls
  3. The active setting does exactly, what it says: make a system active (appear) in the game, or not Paul's right, Darktroopers are canon material, Masek.
  4. Love that avatar vakundok, it brings back a lot of memories dwr00, if you overwrite one of the 05s in a block of "05 00 00 1C" with 08, then you should have a Tie Defender, where there was a normal Tie before. That's the way this mostly works. By the way, if you downloaded UltraEdit, then there is an option to add some bytes in hex, but it's in the upper menu, so you can overlook it quite easily.
  5. Hmm, I'm no expert on modding HW1, but I recall, that the .shp files in the r1 and r2 folders are text files and should contain most of the things you need to tweak the stats. Btw, remember to create backups, if anything goes weird.
  6. Oh you headstrong youngsters ...
  7. Yeah, it was about 20megs or so, hmm but it looks like the post was deleted
  8. You could also mail your broken disc to Lucasarts Depending on where you live of course, but that would be also a real alternative
  9. Ah, the one with the green imperial symbol ? Yeah, I know it. But there's nothing it can do, that RebEd can't handle
  10. I also have that large pdf version, but if you can shrink it, I think that'd be best for our young collegue
  11. You sure you're converting them with the right palette and vakundok's bmpconverter ? The palette's the same as in my fighter tutorial, btw.
  12. Pfff, I think above 12 squads were sure to have several color-groups. Maybe it also works with > 6
  13. * knocks on wood * Ouch, my head ... Talking about that will only bring fierfek (that's Huttese for bad luck )
  14. No cheat codes ? Hmm, remember I do, that typing 1799 SUPER in orbit around Coruscant, gave me something once. Dunno, if you had to be imperial or rebel for this to work, though
  15. No problem. I also read recently, that my finally arrived, new replacement board (GA-7NNXP Ultra) works not well with Corsair bars. The reason for this eludes me though Oh well, I'll have to see how this new dual channel RAM feature will improve the quality in Doom III
  16. 4-5 modellers ? I'm not even sure we have so many in these forums *suspicion arrises* ... Or are you people just hiding, eh ?
  17. Umm, I think I had a version for max 5 as well somewhere. But chili was a bit complicated to use, well, at least for me at that time
  18. Let's see, I configured my firewall on the laptop this way and I could connect to the pc and vice-versa. So I'm pretty sure it'd work on the internet as well. dplaysvr.exe is allowed in- and outbound connections, on any remote port and on local port 47624 .Protocol is UDP. rebexe.exe is also allowed in- and outbound connections on any port, any adress with TCP and UDP ports. That's all you should have to set in your firewalls or routers to make it work. Btw, if you have any firewall rules forbidding inbound tcp and udp connections, like I have to avoid most worms and port-scanners, make sure the rules for the Rebellion stuff is set prior to that one. Otherwise the inbound blocking will exclude the Rebellion connections, at least it's that way with my firewall
  19. offtopic, but do you check your pms, eville ?
  20. Well I don't know, if they also ship over to other continents, but since you live practically next door Mad, you could also look for an Infineon one. They are made by Siemens and I built these candy bars in every pc my family has, with no outages at all. Well, there was this one time, when lightning struck, but ... hey (it also wasn't my pc )
  21. Hmm, I just get a generic timeout message with Firefox, but it looks offline to me as well. Weren't they using some of Darksaber's fighter models without asking him first ? I seem to recall something along that line. Anyway, try again during the next few days. Maybe they just moved to a new host or something.
  22. Hmm, I think there were some on jediknight.net, maybe even on planetquake.com/polycount/
  23. Thrawn, that was exactly the driver I was talking about Before v60 they were called DetonatorXP series. Mad, did you never have WindowsXP complaining about a driver not being certified from MS (aka: "failed the Windows logo test") ?
  24. GAT, OpenGl is just another display mode for showing 3D stuff, like DirectX for example. It's often used as an object lesson in higher semesters of multi-media-oriented classes, like computer science. Btw, what's the name of these alternative NVidia drivers ? I never had problems with the DetonatorXP/Forceware series so far, though. Maybe Windows will say, that it doesn't pass the logo test, but that's all
  25. GLSetup ?? Haven't seen that in years. Usually the OGL abilities are included in your reference driver, like the Detonator XP (or forceware, as I believe it's now called) or the omega drivers for ATI cards. What card and what drivers do you have ?
