How about from here ? I see, that it can export to 3ds (which is the only requirement), so it shouldn't be a problem to use it for Rebellion
-
1) Pfff ... 2) ok, that's the ultimate answer, but do you also know the ultimate question to it
-
Umm, ever saw 'King of Queens ? '

Oookay, if there are still some of you out there, that are still indecisive on wether they should buy the OT DVDs, here’s what has been changed, as far as I noticed I’m using the TFN list, that TF got from somewhere else and posted, to dispense with some rumors as well. Episode IV: A New Hope 01. The Imperial March has been added to Darth Vader's first appearance on Princess Leia's ship. Hmm, nope. Still the old music 02. When Obi-Wan is talking to Luke about his father Anakin's Theme plays in the background and then it turns into the Imperial March as he talks about Vader. Nope. Still the old music 03. The lightsaber effects have been redone and the frame jumps of lightsabers being turned on has been removed. Yup, looks definately better now 04. There's a new scene which has been shot during the filming of Episode III in which the Emperor dissolves the Senate. No, that was just a rumor. 05. In the Cantina, the Duros(green aliens guys) have been replaced with Neimoidians and some aliens from the prequels have been added. *cough* Duros are blue and the aliens are the same as in the SE. 06. The bleeding arm on the floor in the Cantina has been replaced with a non-bleeding arm because it's now canon that lightsabers cauterize wounds. Nope, still bleeding as we are used to. 07. The original shooting scene between Han and Greedo has been restored. (YESS!! Hallelujah!!) Well, to some degree. Greedo shoots first and a split second later Han blasts him. It’s almost even now. Although I liked the original one better. 08. Jabba the Hutt has been given a makeover and Han no longer steps on his tail. Yes and no. There is a new Jabba, that is better animated, but Han still steps on his tail. 09. In place of R2 wobbling down the stairs to the Falcon's hangar, a CG R2 navigating the stairs like he does in Attack of the Clones was added. No. Whoever posted this on TFN must’ve had a lot of fun. 10. The white boxes around space ships have been removed and new CG shots have been added. White boxes ? New CG shots are definately there. 11. The scene of the Falcon being chased by the two Star Destroyers was modified. The Falcon now does spinning moves, avoiding the Star Destroyers' fire. No, still the same. 12. When the Death Star destroys Alderaan there's a new scene of Yoda's reaction to the disturbance in the Force that is created by all those deaths and then it cuts to Obi-Wan reacting to it as well. No Yoda, this scene does not show. 13. The Dianoga has gotten a CG makeover and were are now able to see more of the creature. No 14. The Death Star's paneling and computers have been slightly altered to show similar displays to those in the prequels. Nnnno. 15. The words "Tractor Beam" with Aurebesh lettering. Yes 16. More stormtroopers have been added to the Death Star. Umm, not that I know of. 17. Temuera Morrison's voice is being recorded for use with all the stormtroopers. Nah 18. The Obi-Wan/Vader duel has been spruced up. It is much more epic and there is much more movement. A modified version of Duel of the Fates is being considered for the scene. (How they did this, I have no idea. Maybe replacing Alec Guinness with Ewan McGregor? ) Nope 19. The Death Star plans that are taken from R2 have been updated. When the Rebels are reviewing the Death Star plans they look similar to the plans we see in Attack of the Clones. No. It’s still the seventies style graphics. 20. The Death Star battle is much more epic with more Tie Fighters and more Rebels being blown to bits. We get to see old Naboo starfighters being used by the Rebels. (More is good, but Naboo Starfighters at Yavin?!? WTF? ) There seem to be a few more fighter scenes than in the SE, but I’m glad to say: there are no N1 fighters in it. Just what we’re all used to see. 21. There's a new scene(shot during Episode III) where Darth Vader goes to Coruscant and lands his ship in the same building Count Dooku does at the end of Attack of the Clones. Except now the building is all fixed up and it is now Palpatine's palace. He meets with Palpatine to ask for forgiveness for his failure and inform him of a new potential who is strong in the Force. :8 (Remember our discussion on this, Mask?) This scene is not in the movie. I remember, but I’ve been lucky enough to get George off that track, just to deprive you of an argument 22. Chewbacca now gets a medal. Nope, although it would be a nice gesture. Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back 01. The taun-tauns are now CG. Hmm, could be, but not with all of them. Han’s dying Tauntaun seems to fall smoother. 02. The battle of Hoth is much more epic. We see the Imperial ships land on Hoth and release AT-ATs. The AT-ATs have been sped up a bit. There's a ground battle between the Rebel soldiers and stormtroopers featuring new ships and vehicles. (WOO YAY!) The AT-Ats seem to walk smoother, but that’s all. 03. Temuera Morrison's voice is being recorded for the older Boba Fett and all the stormtroopers. ( Jeremy Bulloch will always be Boba Fett...) *sigh* that’s true. 04. The white boxes around space ships have been removed. Again, what boxes ? 05. The slug monster is CG. Errm, no ? 06. Ian McDiarmid has refilmed scenes as the Emperor. The conversations between Vader and Palpatine is now longer and features a few connections to the prequels. Yes, Palpatine convinces Vader, that the young rebel, who cooked the DS must be Anakin’s son. 07. Yoda's face is now animated in CG allowing more _expression of emotions yet his movements remain the same. Also two deleted scenes featuring Yoda instructing Luke have been restored. Nah, still Muppet-Yoda as we all love him and no deleted scenes. I recall some additional training scenes from the book, that the guy on TFN must’ve been referring to. 08. A new scene was shot in which the stormtroopers, after they capture Han, Leia and Chewie, bring Vader the box containing C-3PO in pieces. Vader orders the stormtroopers to bring the broken droid to Chewbacca's cell so that he can fix him. No, Vader still denies being 3PO’s maker 09. The lightsaber effects have been redone in certain parts. Ohh yes, everywhere. 10. Luke's fall from Cloud City has been reshot against bluescreen using a stuntman. Nope, although his scream is gone. Episode VI: Return of the Jedi 01. Jabba the Hutt is now a combination of the puppet and CG. Nope, he’s still muppeteered. 02. The Rancor is CG and looks disgusting as ever. Not that I know of, but he doesn’t look cute that’s for sure. 03. Yoda is CG. Yoda disappears leaving his clothes behind like Obi-Wan now. No and no. 04. The ewoks are now mostly CG and there are a lot more of them. (Why?) Nope, as far as I can tell it’s the same number of Ewoks and they are still costumed children and Kenny Baker. 05. The plan is to insert the love theme Across the Stars when Luke is talking with Leia about their mother. (Ain't that special...) Um, still the same music, IIRC. 06. Temuera Morrison's like before is now the voice for Boba Fett and all the stormtroopers. Yes, ... do stormies talk during this movie ? 07. In the battle of Endor there are thousands of Ewoks and they are more vicious than there midgets-in-suits counterparts. More bite the dust now. (Yesss...) Nohohoo 08. White boxes around ships removed. (And more scenes...please?) Did someone draw these boxes on his tape, or where have they been supposed to be ? I think there’s the same amount of scenes 09. The black blotches around Palpatine's face are gone. Yeah 10. Some of the lightsaber effects have been redone. The shadows that the lightsabers made on the floor are gone. (Um...why?) Lightsabers are redone (the picture on the disc contains an error, btw), but I think the shadows are still there. 11. During Anakin's death scene it starts with a sad rendition of the Imperial March and slowly evolves into Anakin's Theme. Still the old music 12. Sebastion Shaw who played Anakin when he was unmasked has been replaced with Hayden Christenson in make-up to make him look older. Anakin has much more dialogue. He apologizes for the destruction he caused, he thanks his son for turning him back to the light, he tells his son to rebuild the Jedi and he says he loves him and his sister. Just before he dies he says, "It is finished...". (Note to GL: Nobody liked your "Christ" reference in TPM for Anakin, and it's VERY out of place here. I already despise this scene, and I haven't even seen it.) Well thank the lord, that there’s still Sebastian Shaw under the helmet, although sans his eyebrows, as Trej noted earlier. 13. We see more planets celebrating at the end of the movie. We see an aged Jar Jar, who is now the leader of the Gungans, on Naboo celebrating with the people of Naboo and the Gungans. We see an old Watto, who is now unable to fly, sitting in a hover chair cheering on Tatooine. During these scenes. Across the Stars plays transitioning to the victory celebration music at the Ewok tree village. (Continuity is good; and that answers the question of whether or not Naboo is still around after the Clone Wars.) We only see the streets of Naboo from above and hear a Gungan shout “Wesa free !“. There’s no JarJar, no Watto and no new music. 14. Anakin's spirit is now played by Hayden Christenson with make-up to make him look his age. He looks on proudly at his son Luke with the spirit of Padme by his side. Now that’s my only big beef with the dvds. Hayden’s there, looking twisted instead of forgiving and quite frankly out of place besides such grand actors as Alec Guiness and muppet Yoda Oh yeah and there’s no Padme (although that would’ve played havoc with continuity) Ok, if you want to add something to the list, or noticed something, where I’m wrong, tell me.

Looks cool, maybe you can add the line the usual suspects in a picture at the beginning Did you mean a line to be quoted in the picture with our avatar ?

You said it all. Scath, the salad's the same in Germany, IIRC, so I think it's a company-wide recipy. As Jahled said, if you're in another country and dunno how the food is prepared, what's in it, or how to spell it (Tunesia for example, I can't read Arabic writings) you can always count on it, that a McChicken will be made the same way as in the restaurant back home. For example on our class trip to Poland 10 years ago in school I was glad to have a McD close by (I'm very picky about what to eat as well), because I didn't know if I liked this and that and there were no mobile phones to call my folks and ask them I didn't see this movie, but as Scath already said: I'm not going to see it either. I'm not even sure, that it will be in cinemas in Europe, but suing McD will not solve that guys weight problems. He's just deflecting the truth, that he has to know at least on a subconscious level and he alone has to turn around and do something about it

Hmm, that's weird. I just tried uploading a card, but the same happened to me as well. At first I thought it were the spaces in the filenames, but even after replacing them it was still the same. Evaders, do you know what could've fone wrong ?

Well besides the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, there's an old bavarian radio show, that has me rolling on the floor. It's called: ein Münchner im Himmel and is about a Bavarian (from Munich of course, given the title), who dies and arrives in heaven to become an angle. So much for the theory... I think the greatest bit is when he's supposed to play the harp while frolicking and just sits there on his cloud and goes from "Halelujah" to abreviated forms like "lujah", "damn it, lujahhh I say man, lujahh." Hearing it with that accent of course lends much more comic to it. After god hears him and asks him, why in heaven he's shouting so much, the Bavarian rants about that there's no beer and tobaco, that he doesn't like to sing all day on a cloud and so on ... God, in his wisdom sees, that there'd be only one way to give this soul its peace an decides to send his divine advice via the grumpy angle to the Bavarian government. This way he'll see Munich once or twice a week and hopefully be more content with his afterlife. But as soon as the Bavarian lands he sits down in the Hofbräuhaus and has one beer after the next. The story ends with the words : "and so, the Bavarian government waits until today in vain for the divine advice"

I never made a secret of that. Kylie, Jennifer Garner, Alyssa Milano, Leah Remini, Laura Prepon, .... I'll cut the list here, since it's almost infinite Already did. It was a very popular file on a large LAN party I was on last year in June. Ok, the face I'm making now is pretty close to the one Homer Simpson does, when he is slumped on his couch and drooling slightly, with the can of Duff in his left hand

Gigabyte 7NNXP ultra, but it's still not there You won't believe how slow working on the Reloaded movies with 3dsmax is going with my 1,2Ghz notbook Hmm, maybe not a stormtrooper, but I'd definately watch for that color, or mentioning of it -
Umm, I never uploaded a card, but wouldn't you just need to upload the card and the preview pic files ? If you tried the html file, then I can understand this error message

To get back on topic ... Umm, Jahled, you wouldn't have come across pictures of Kylie Minogue ... errm ... on stage, wouldn't you ?

I think this site is actually meant to receive job offers, Scath Selling one or the other picture might be a bonus, though. But I think that'd be difficult, if they are only in digital format

Hopefully my replacement motherboard will finally arrive within a few days. Then I can go and actually get BF. So, I guess you can expect to see me there as well a few times Although I might wear a disguise -
But am I not a few years your senior ? * begins to feel old, all of a sudden *

Sure, but when I started testing this, it is was ~ 1AM ... ... and when I was done and had written the units into the format for this post it was about 2 AM.Also, why should I take all the fun away from you ? Btw, on what position is the chance-byte for the random starting units ? I tried a few yesterday, but didn't get very far. Although the Empire started with a SSD every now and then
-
That would be an option, but IIRC no major character can betray. At least not as long as you don't edit that with RebEd
-
I already did a long time ago, you just didn't notice Rebellion should do fine with models up to 10k polys. As for texture maps, well, I usually don't go over 512, but that's just a matter of resizing So apart from the generous offer (I'll PM ya ), these plugins don't really work, do they ? I noticed a thread on rdn, where you and some others speculated about writing another plugin, but IIRC you were missing the info on how the 3ds files are made up, right ? I think I found at least a partial solution to this: on the max cd there are the cpp and .h files for the 3ds export plugin in cab file 4 or 5. Lots of C++ lines (some of them went over my head when I read them at 2AM, though) with a few funny comments.

Ahh, I get it. Big it up for vakundok At first I couldn’t get the Deathstar, but after a few tries I noticed, that it couldn’t work, because the DS has another family number (everyone reading this, notice the red 18 below ), than the capital ships. Ok, I wrote the shiplist from the listing I used to program the battlestations utility and with a few (or more) trial-and-error runs I got the codes for the rest of the units. I tried everything, to add a second ship to the the starting fleet at Coruscant, but to no avail. Since the DS has that family # of 18 I thought, that was the reason, why changing that byte at pos 4 didn’t add one, but it also didn’t work with normal ships. I had the Empire start the game with a SSD, every possible fighter and troop type of both sides, even with an AFRG Editing cmuneftb.dat will let you edit the one-ship fleet around Coruscant, while cmuncrtb.dat is responsible for the troops and fighters (no ships … I think) on the planet. vakundok, I also think the byte at position 4 has something to do with the amount of ships in there, but I couldn’t get my own ships in there as well. I even copied the cmunaftb.dat over the …eftb.dat, in case there was something in the structure missing. The byte directly after the ship family number seems to be important as well and if you set the number at position 4 higher than the entries you added manually, then the game will hang. Woo, looks promising
-
I don't think that has anything to do with Leia. If a character becomes a traitor depends solely on the loyalty value in his RebEd card and on the overall situation for your side. If things go bad, people might turn into traitors.
-
Accepted, just don't make a habit of it.
-
But still, you can replace the shiptypes in the starting fleets. That's something at least Btw, where's the type difference ? I didn't see a connection between the bytes here and the ones in capships.dat
