I'd heard TF2 wasn't so great. Lack of maps, gametypes and the ability to customise.

I only saw the trailers of TF2, those were great :D

I was browsing through Trek games today (wiki and so)

I must say, most of them are highly disappointing. I've planned to play with one before/after my traditional KoTOR Christmas session, but no luck, they all suck I guess. Maybe Away Team, and the classic Final Unity are worth a try... But let's face it, ST is in very-very bad shape

I must admit i always thought Star Trek was the other great candidate for an MMORPG myself.

I just recently bought Star Wars: Battlefront II for the PS2 as it was on sale for $20 and thought I'd try it out.

I also recently beat Super Mario Galaxy and it was a lot of fun.

I´ve got the first part. It´s kinda nice, but it started to bore me too soon. I´ve heard that people don´t weren´t too enthusiastic about the second part. Dunno why.
Who cares at all?!

Than you also belong to these people, Rob.

Though I´ ve never played it up till now I assume that it´s because it´s just a rip-off the first part. But that´s just a theorie.

Battlefront II was nice. I loved running around the Death Star with Palpy. Also, Darth Maul was ridiculous in that game.

Does the game ever allow you to duel heros against each other? For example if you can you duel it out as Luke against Vader on the Death Star?

The guy who was losing somehow countered/blocked a supermove, *repeatedly* and beatdown the one who'd been winning by a lot at the start.

Frikkin sweet.

Unfortunately, each "battlefield" has its own unique hero. Thus, Palpy was only playable on the Death Star, etc. etc. So the hero you get depends on which map you're playing on. Secondly, you cannot "select" that hero. I havent played in a while, but from what I recall, if you get a certain amount of kills, the option appears to transform your current trooper into the hero for that level. So, if you're playing a Stormtrooper, and get an x amount of kills, the option will come up saying "play as Darth Vader" and if you select yes, you become him for a certain amount of time.

As for fighting other heroes, I forget. I dont think it happens in single player mode, because I forgot if the AI player can activate their hero. In 2-player mode Im pretty sure you can. I think I recall playing my friend, and I became Darth Maul and he was whatever Jedi was at that battle, and we duked it out. But don't quote me on that. I haven't played in a long time.

Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side!

Darn. Well, I've said it once and I'll say it again: I wish they would make a game like Star Wars: Legos only more realistic and a serious tone. It would kinda be like those Star Wars games for the SNES, only with more modern graphics, and in 3D.

Guess I'll just have to settle for Star Wars: Legos on the Wii for the meantime.

Somehow I've been sucked back into Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It's not the best game ever, but there's still something about using that SSD to kill everything in sight that gets me all warm and fuzzy inside...

Recently, I downloaded a mod for the game that puts General Grievous on the Consortium's side. He has four lightsabers just like in the movies too, and in space his ship is The Invisible Hand.

My friend gave me Battlefield II for the PS2 for Christmas, and my sisters got the whole family Guitar Hero II for the PS2. Should be some fun, interesting games.
