well when you lot have decided whats what - let me know. I have other things to get on with - with the mod. It's just as easy for me to just remove the Juggernauts. -

@ARCTrooper - well spotted that man. You get a gold star for that. Plus that A6 picture looks suspiciously like the new model we added. I will need to re think what to do about that model. HK-47 The map is great as far as your impression is concerned, it doesn't look like any Rhen Var I know - but its your work, if you don't like it start another one that does look like Rhen Var. The TX130t Tank was an idea I did for SOTE. It's renamed of course. Even though the Missiles as you suggest are supposed to come from the sides, this is not always possible to achieve on a model and you just use what you have available in a model to play with. At LEAST it fires missiles as it should be able to. Rather than not at all.. -
I think its a great idea to try and research ways of making new tech levels for the game. 5 just isn't enough for the aims of some mods. I could do with another 2 or three tech levels - but I have never worked out how to make that work properly. Its got my vote !

I think some one will be doing one with deploy animations - I can't say much about it though, but it's not needed for this mod really, although I will update the model in the mod if it were the case at some future point. Vader is buildable at Hoth, Fondor, and Byss. Plus Kuat - I wrote it in the update list. other page. - ok, I made the A5 hardpoint's destructible because it made me laugh at the idea of blowing it's turrets off Can't do this with a B5 or any variant of it. I am not going to go into an A6 model idea, I just want the A6 idea testing first before I decide whether I want to keep it in or not. But the B5 model is close as I can have for an A6 model - originally we were only adding one more Juggernaut - kind of got out of hand. - oh well. -

1) yes and ? - Hoth is what I said. Meaning Episode V Attack at hoth blah blah.. 2) Sorry A6 stays. I like the way I made this in the coding - proper or not. - at least test this in game first before doubting it's worth to the game itself 3) Would the best way to go, using tector code will save time coding the Gauntlet class. Makes sense this does.. -

That would have to be taken into account. If I can get a Tector Class made - the hard point arrangement would need to be similar. We will use the current model for now as a place holder. I do not know if I can get a new model for the Tector, - maybe unlikely, but I will try and see if it can be made. After all the debate about the Gauntlet class, I will add them as escorts to the Eclipse. The eclipse can only be found at Byss anyway. I will make the Gauntlet Class so they are not too powerful - but stronger than a standard SD. But not impossible to take them down with K-Wings or B-Wings. JC -

oh that list is a working list for Alpha 6 - I am messing about with this build A LOT really, Do I let Vader get built at this tech level or that one - should you build a large ship yard first... ? I don't know it's a lot of things to think up. The Next Alpha will be ready by the weekend in any case. -

I gave the A5 to both factions - either way only one faction can build the A5 at any one time - depending on who controls that planet. (Rothana). -

I think your right Droid, and its what Daft Vader and I were discussing on MSN chat the other day. We figured that it would be better to get an ISD MKI - put it into max and remove the hangar by like placing a plate over it or some thing to cover it up. This way it would better resemble a Tector SD than using the Allegiance model. I might ask some one to do this in max for me in the future, but as far as now is concerned in the alpha's it doesn't matter as it can be a place holder for a new model. Yes its a new Juggernaut model it's mostly working, it lacks a death clone though - the issue with the wheels was fixed. It doesn't deploy - as there wasn't any animation's done for that either. Although I did not intend using our version to deploy troops anyway. Were using the B5 for this alone. Plus the A5 is an old unit that is unlocked on one planet only. (Rothana) I cleared this with Avenger, so I can so a couple of early screen shots of what I have been messing with in the game. http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e99/drone_pilot/A5_Juggernaut_profile.jpg Plus I did the hardpoints so they can be targeted. They lack any kind of emit damage though. hmm the problem IS - is that I have used the Allegiance model for the Tector Class SD in the game. It was the only model with out a hangar. I could not very well do a Tector class SD based on the ISD model. I should imagine however, that the size comparisons are quite different. -

That reference was to build 4 of these Gauntlet classes not 4 eclipses. -

4 of those type of ships active at one time would mean any fleet trying to engage them - especially all together would be suicide ! - it would be crazy. What if an Imperial player uses the eclipse and 4 Allegiance class SD's - Gauntlet as you call them. Nothing would stop this fleet. :-\ A5 Juggernaut is being tested at the moment, its mostly working, but there's a bug in the animations where the vehicle is at full stop the wheels still keep turning around. (At a very slow turn) not full speed. Lasers and rockets working fine though.. even has rotating turrets Armaments: Dual Turret Laser Cannon, Anti Infantry Lasers and Missile Launchers. Abilities: FOW Ping (Map revealer) and Rocket Attack. JC -

Hmm well if they were supposed to escort the Eclipse - that's one thing, - another is game balance - it would mean a fleet like that would be unstoppable ! - maybe its stupid to put it's escorts in the mod. I am using the model and skin made by 1UpD Clone V1 pack - yes, he's credited in the readme file - he also allowed me to use his code and work for the Darth Vader Light Saber throw ability - which I haven't finished working on yet. So you have the Swamp Trooper with out Bike and one with bike. I made it so they are buildable on Swamp worlds. -

ok, well some explanations: Gottu - Urban Combat Specialist Idow - Urban Combat Specialist - these two can swap weapons. heavy repeater blaster, for grenade attack, and proximity mines Frorral - Wilderness Fighter Specialist - this guy can run fast, plus can use a stim pack Kasck - Infiltrator. - heh this guy is able to capture enemy vehicles. plus can swap weapons for a grenade attack. That Gauntlet class SSD is the Allegiance Class ? - we do have the Eclipse SSD in the game though - as it comes with FOC anyway. What time line was this class of SD built in for a start ? also added: Swap Trooper one with a speeder Bike - one with out. Buildable on Swamp worlds. Millennium Falcon and Outrider both can fire missiles. -

ok guys I have finally added Katarn's Commando's to the game. Team Leader (Kyle Katarn) of course this period of history - before Page took over. Team consists of: Kyle Katarn: Gottu - Urban Combat Specialist Idow - Urban Combat Specialist Forral - Wilderness Fighter Specialist Kasck - Infiltrator. Not fully tested as yet - but I do not for see any real problems with them. Any questions of course just ask -

The TIE Hunter was a rare breed I think just as the pilots flying them. (Used by Storm Commandos) so this is the reasons for removing it from build tabs,. It should be made playable in the game via some other resource. The alternative is to have it only buildable at one planet. Being able to build lots of Gunboats is just the same as having lots of K-Wings I think. Too many can be over powerful, they need to be limited for better use. This make the player use them more wisely. I also have other ships that have limited build amounts - you haven't noticed ? - The Dominator (Interdictor Destroyer) and the Cruisers were only few a penny, the Empire did not have many of them. You want cannon, then certain ships no matter how nice they are have to be used in the game so there aren't too many of those types of ships. -

Some of the fighters for the empire will be made none buildable in later versions - they are buildable for now - for testing purposes, so things like the TIE Hunter and Imperial Gunboat's won't be buildable for example. -

hmm no you misunderstand me, I said 'captured' not capturable. Meaning they can use A5 Juggernaughts by building them on Rothana only. Empire will use solely the A6. Yes that's the best I can do with the ISD MKII - only has one Ion Cannons either side mind you. But I doubled it's firing rate to make up for it a bit. If I had placed them in other parts of the ship - it would not be right. I have re done the MKI as well. It should satisfy your needs for the ship now as well. -

hmm I'll look at them. I have done some messing with the AI - the consortium are a bit slower at trying to corrupt planets now, just a bit slower mind. But its more playable. I also decided to try reducing their starting credits, for some reason the ZC favours building starbases and saboteur's LOL -

I know about that, its a pain the butt. I will work on the AI to stop doing that.. I do not know why it prefers to build these types more than any other. I'll work on that though. -

hmm. you mean the Victory MKII Frigate being able to take out a Quasar Carrier - hmm.. oh the campaigns are coded by Lord of the Sith - you need to put your question to him, because its him who would do the coding for this.
