  1. I think there are a couple of new units I added that do bombing runs yes. But the TIE Bomber works fine.. I am not sure what caused the exception error I found but I will hunt it out. If people who have the last alpha build find it in skirmish let me know what you did to get the error. This will help me find the problem better. For capturing ships, I know people have done different ways of doing this, I am not sure yet if I want this in SOTE. I don't have anything to go on either about making it work as you suggest other than asking the actual author who did that ability in the first place.
  2. Hmm thanks shak - nice render of the Venator. I have discovered an exception error in skirmish battles. Seemed to be after I ordered an orbital bombardment. So I would appreciate if people can look out for this and tell me if you get a problem with it, or with TIE Bombers. I am not sure exactly whats causing it. But look out for this and let me know.

  4. hey don't take that the wrong way just that Daft Vader came up with some maps that better suited the purpose. I did appreciate your interest. Of course you can have an Internal Beta, as soon as I am ready hmm well TIE Scouts ARE kind of useless on the galactic map (I mean Probe Droid's can really just as much spy on a system). However they do have a FOW ping when they are in a battle. Not that it always will serve much use in this game anyway. I need to know more about this kind of coding, do you have any mods I can refer to on this ? - because this is not some thing I planned on doing, or have ever looked at doing before.
  5. Actually the TX130 was used in the Clone Wars AND the GCW according to wookiepedia Theres not much difference between the 2-M and TX130 other than weapons I think. Well we have Prince Xizor - and so Guri was technically with him to begin with. But we can put it to the vote on that one,..
  6. @Daft Vader I sent you the wrong Ord Mantell Map to update last night - the one I sent was an older copy of it. :-\ If you get on MSN later I'll have to send you the right map so you can do the passibility again on it. Sorry about that. Anyone up for doing a map of RhenVar ? by any chance..
  7. Guri ? - who's faction would she be on the side of :-\ I decided to upgrade the 2-M Tank and change its identity. It's now called the TX130T fighter Tank as maybe it better suits the time line. It has upgraded shields and weapons. Heavy Laser Cannon Medium Laser Cannon Thermal Detonator Missile Launchers this makes it comparable with rebel tanks I added to the game such as the T3-B and perhaps adds the balance there. As the 2-M Tank and the 130T look similar in design - I thought it should be ok to change the identity of the tank in the game.
  8. hmm yes I didn't need the icons but anyway. thanks - The next build is Alpha 5 I am delaying it this week as There are things I want to do on the build first before handing it to people. But I will send it out to people this week at some point.

  10. LOL hmm so I did.. ok... : The maps are quite good, I just need DV to get online with MSN so I can get him to re do the passibility on the Ord Mantell Map I updated with new props.
  11. I have been waiting for you to get online Daft Vader - I need to send back over the updated Ord Mantell Map to you to update asap - I know you will need to re do the passibility on that map. I added more props to make the Junk yard more Junk Yardish Can you get on MSN please ? I am happy for HK to do some maps for us. I'll PM him about it see if he wants to work on some ?

  19. I was going by the Game 'Rogue Squadron' where there is YOU and two Wing men. I can do it as six though if you like but Wedge can only be in one of them !
  20. Fosh - I got permission from Z3r0x for that icon and the base code for Soontir Fel. However I didn't use his actual code in the end but used it as a guideline to do my own code instead. But the icon as far as I know was done by Z3r0x, at least he said I should give him credit for icons used in the mod. ? I can just as easily make my own identical icon ?
  21. Actually I agree. Pages Commando's is a bit of a squeeze in the time line. Plus complicates the coding of such a unit of soldiers. (Introducing) Rogue Squadron - For Land Battles. I have done away with the buildable X-Wing and turned them into an elite Land Squadron led by Wedge Antilles. Buildable on certain planets - will reveal which later after I tested them. Comes in a squad of three fighters, one of which is Wedge. He will appear as a hero as well, and is available for skirmish at tech lvl 3 They will be pretty much be able to do the same things they did when the X-Wing Was a buildable land fighter. but with a few more features too. Y-Wings have been re done too and made better. I got my idea's while playing other SW games, so bear with me.. Same with the TIE Bomber. I haven't decided what to do with the TIE fighter GC yet.

Cheers Back to the Katarn Commando's thing we were talking about on FF ? - like with the Storm Commando's we could limit the build of these on certain planets OR - not have them buildable at all and just have them available when Kyle is built as an Infringing hero. Lt. Page was mentioned but wouldn't that push the tech level of the Commando's up more like at Tech 5 ? where as I think I have the Storm Commando's at Tech 4 - so you see that wouldn't match up in the time line.
