  1. Hmm yes I already added the Emperors Red Guard (Royal Guard) etc, etc, I have them buildable on Coruscant I can expand them to the other planets you mentioned I guess.

  8. I don't know about that, but I have noticed a few mods are using his stuff, but I imagine they all got permission to use his models ? I vaguely recall he DID say once he had finished his mod that they would be available for public use. - or some words to that effect.

  11. hmm no - its called shadow of the empire its not 'shadows of the empire' it uses some things from that story but is loosely based in that time line until 10 ABY. As Shadows of the Empire is with in our Time line a similar title was used. However the story line is not exclusively about that book, or the game. JC
  12. More wreaked ships would be good. Like wings twisted off x-wings and dis embodied star fighters and shuttles that look like they have been scavenged. Would look good on a junk yard
  13. We haven't taken any maps from other mods ? Daft Vader is the map builder for SOTE. Granted I used Blue Lobster maps for some planets, but they were re touched up for FOC. Daft Vader has other wise maps most of the maps. I am not aware of any errors as you put it in any of the maps I have used. Perhaps you could be more clear on what those errors are that you claim are in everyones mods that are not as you claim in this 'alliance' mod.
  14. @Nomada_firefox - thats not polite what you did. In fact its rude. Start your own thread if you want to talk about your mod or any other mod for that matter...Your accusations for the planets in SOTE are unfounded plus considering you have never played this mod how would you know what errors SOTE contains ? your self important shameless advertising should be reported, however I won't actually bother to. I think people are intelligent enough already to see what your doing. Anyway your claims are unfounded. You wouldn't even know what errors or not SOTE contains as you don't have a beta of it. Reports to date say the new expansion planets in SOTE work fine.

  17. public beta - possibly at the end of Feb or early March. Final build middle of March I think or late.
  18. Well, we have added serveral new new planets to the game, and I haven't noticed problems yet in the code. (Because I haven't done the testing on the new planets myself) but I will help you if you pm me about it.
  19. * - means I might NOT add them at all. oh by the way Nar Shaddaa during my tests is tricky to use in GC. People might think its buggy, however its not so much as a bug but as the fact that its too close to Nal Hutta. So when your trying to move fleets to one place or another between those locations, it might end up on either Nal Hutta or Nar Shaddaa. Its also a bit tricky to select one place or the other. But not if you use the GC map preview - I am going to try and sort this out better in a future build of SOTE.

  21. Not at all Avenger what your saying makes sense to me at least. I think perhaps what some people will have problems with is the fact that their gfx cards are quite old and don't fully support Dirext X 8 or 9 shaders in the game because their card was designed for a version of Direct X that does not support those shaders. Hence reduced effects and appearance in the game. Heck I first ran this game on an Intel gfx chip its was DX9 compliant, but lacked support for certain things in games, the game looked ok, but it looked even better when I bought my Geforce 7.
  22. looks like this mod will sadly be only for people with newer gfx cards that support shaders from DX8/9 I think. Some of the space units have bump maps but not all of them. I am sorry about that to people who wanted to play this mod it kind of feels bad to me too.
  23. oh ! LOL I see now why its a problem for you. Well, I didn't realise this would be a problem for older gfx card users. hmm.. Bump maps would be impossible to do now unless I get access to the max files and could have them re skinned with bump maps. :-\
  24. I found what is causing it. Its the Hutt Fighter Codeuser made. I imagine it could be my code that's bugged some where I guess.
