  1. damn how come ? oh I found a bug the other day too. Captain Antilles Weaken Enemy effect crashes the game if you use it on ZC star fighter ? - I think its on the new ones I added. However the ability works fine if you use it against the Empire. I can't figure this one out. :-\
  2. I know, but hey I am not re skinning a Field Commander. I don't do skinning on EAW just coding LOL I don't understand anything about hex editing models either. So it will do as a security guard (which they are any way)
  3. shaders - the MC90 doesn't have bump maps I checked.

  5. MC90 For the game http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e99/drone_pilot/MC90_ingame2.jpg On high texture settings. People with lower gfx cards lower than a Geforce 6/7 might not see this shown properly in game.
  6. already did a reskin of the Field Commander once - not what I had in mind though. - unless anyone has a copy of a naval trooper they want to share for a mod.

  9. I'll move the moon to the side of Nal Hutta - I didn't think of this - maybe it will help a bit..
  10. I re did Nar Shaddaa but it's become more buggy than the way I originally had it. Its very hard to move any units on to the Nal Hutta's surface. (the way I had it previously it wasn't an issue) http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e99/drone_pilot/Nar_shaddaa_planet_01.jpg I might have to use a larger Nal Hutta even though they aren't the proper size. Just to avoid the problem with the dragging units to Nal Hutta's surface. The main problem is that they are very close together and Nar Shaddaa's ring infringes on Nal Hutta when you would drag units to the surface. http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e99/drone_pilot/Nar_shaddaa_planet_02.jpg This is how it looks when some units are on Nar Shaddaa - the size of the moon is now larger. (Why I made Nal Hutta much bigger to compensate for this) it's still tricky moving units around but it can be done. I managed to move people around more easily after tweaking more on it.
  11. No, the Venator is Avengers model LOL thats what we have been talking about Nal Hutta was made bigger and Nar Shaddaa sized down to emphasis that its a moon near Nal Hutta. I need to mess about with it more maybe reduce the size on Nal Hutta again. They are all using different planet models now. This new version of them is a bit tricky to get right with out the planets over laying each other and main one of the planets look like its cut in half ! LOL Oh, yes sure if Avenger was to do another conversion I see a lot of people asking for Star Destroyers again that would be interesting I think.

  13. ahem - back on topic, I just want to say a few new things have since been added. Nar Shaddaa - playable map Y-Wing Longprobe Sort of like a TIE Scout - can do the same things. Can move un detected through the galactic map and spy on fleets. The Longprobe was a recon ship so it also has the reveal ping as its ability if it gets into combat. Hutt Fighter for ZC Venator Destroyer for ZC hero Urai Fen - For use in Space Combat mode.   14. The Sandbox files has nothing to do with how many times a unit is buildable, all it does is put a hero in game. You can do it that way so you have the unit as a 'major' hero in game. Making buildable heroes is better however, as they can be called in at any time when you unlock the planet that they can be built from. So they don't show in the game until you want them anyway. The correct code for restricting unit builds was already posted.. but if your making more heroes for the game - the code for Vader is a good starting point on how to do buildable heroes - instead of using sandbox files. Your restricted to 11 heroes in any case. But by building them, at least you have a choice of who exactly you want to fill a hero slot. Then retire them from the game if you need to. JC

  16. Which is what I used for the Special Weapon on the model. I personally like this new Venator model its an improvement from the original in game version ?
  17. I'm sure if Avenger put his hand to the ISD's - they would be great conversions. His models seem to get better

  19. Avengers Venator model has two launching points - two hangars, however I have noticed a placement of another hangar could have been done as underneath the model there is another hangar. But it doesn't have a hardpoint for me to connect another spawn point to for fighters. I seem to recall that too I think Avenger is working on another version of the Venator (I'm not sure) which may have rotating turrets.

  21. @1upD - could you share what you did ? - I would like to see what you did in your mod in this case.
  22. Empire can hire nameless bounty hunters already in the mod via building a space port. I will do the same for the consortium as well as smugglers. However I need to come up with new heroes for the ZC - as they have very few.
  23. I'm working towards making a stable beta version for people who wish to test the game out for me. I am going to probably release a final build later in the month or in March. It depends on how much I can get done. The turrets don't turn in this version,. I forgot to talk to Avenger about this, to see if it can be done. The Blue SPHAT beam fire's once. (Well in fact I think its twice with a 0.5 seconds delay) I haven't fully tested this in several battles, but seems to be once.
  24. LOL would be funny that - Boba Fett fighting Boba Fett he he. The projectiles use the same models as usual in the game - its the texture files that are different, and changed in the projectiles coding to make them more movie like - with the white bit in the middle.
