  1. No. That's not it. That just stops the explosions from the pods from damaging your corvettes. Friendly Fire is an entirely different matter. I know for SURE this does not work.
  2. Thats what I meant by "You can select it, but the built ships, they can't be found." Just go look at the darktrooper code...but remove all other requirements except for your HQ ship. And make sure build tab is space or you'll have to cap the planet :S.

  4. He had multiple beam hardpoints... and he wasn;t using a beam per se, he was using a long chain of projectiles firing infinately Well yes that works, but then your model can only have ONE beam. and the bone from which it sprouts must be Hp_Trac_Bone.
  5. Yes, in MP No, in GC. You can select it, but the built ships, they can't be found. If you want a MOBILE ship, like Arc Hammer, then you just have to make a special variant of each unit you want buildable, and allow it to be build WITHOUT a space station.

  8. Its DEFINATELY processor lag. What is there to display other than spheres rotating? not much. But, there ARE miilions and miilions of calculations going on for that AI. Its RAM and Processor for sure.

Its REALLY easy, you'll hit yourself for not thinking of it <Tactical_Objects_Buildable_Multiplayer> Empire, <Empire units> Rebel, <Rebel units> </Tactical_Objects_Buildable_Multiplayer> That's for multiplayer (starbase replacement) For GC, its a LOT harder, but easily handeled by limiting build options o certain planets.
  11. Red stormies are the OFFICIAL shock troopers. they're a reskin. LAATs are probably bails.
  12. Dummy, its SUPPOSED to be the tector class. He's just using the model for the Alliegance for the tector. Units need models. Tector doesn't have a model, he uses the one that's closest, which happens to be the alleigence...
  13. The fleet/battlegroup system REALLY hits hard on micromanagement of fleets (I've tried it). The problem is that if any ship is lost in other than the flagship, they regenerate after each battle. And if the flagship is lost, the entire fleet is gone after the battle too, even if the other ships haven't taken a hit. Makes a new strategy to always take out the flagships and leave the stragglers...even if you just retreat after...
  14. Where'd you get that awesome engine particke for the Praetor-class and the Titan? ???? As for your pesky TIE bombers, You don't have enough offsets. You need on for each unit. so if you had 9, it should all work.
  15. Yes...FoC said they'd have clan support, but that requires ladder I think, which, frankly sucks.

  18. I strongly dissagree. For all the poeple that don't like having a third underworld faction that is UBER-powerful, we play EaW.

  21. Yea, but still...the N-1 was added as a "joke". And I suck too much to unlock them normally, so I use cheats. Never actually appeared in any missions which were stock (as in the first time you play it, and this map-mod is designed to reflect that) Ps. I've learned how to LUA campaigns now (yay). Its actually not hard, its just referncing units and markers in the map editor, then linking them to trigger events defined in the same LUA script. It seems we WILL have objectives in our maps after all *cackles evilly* Before any mod team trys to steal me away to do campaign work, I need to make sure I actually know how to do it...this is a good test of my abilities...once I get the models)

  23. No Way. The EaW engine does not handle transports or point-defense lasers....or multiple turrets
  24. No...not really. The engine car has a turbolaser at its front, and it has gun platform cars with a turbolaser and a missile turret on it for the Kessel train. The chandrilla train consists of an engine and several box-cars. N1, falcon, and Interceptor, you have to use cheats to unlock. If you're going to add the N1, you can add the buick electra same cateory - does not appear unless you cheat. *eh hmm off topic*
