  1. Why use fileplanet? Check PF, there's an alternate download link. Only problem I have is that the tutorial still has german in it lol. Not that I needed the tutorial...things awesome, better than the EaW one...it takes a screen-capture of your map

Yes, but you can seirously farm credits with racketeering...bomber out all of a station level below 4's harpoints and park a pair or crusaders, wait for the fighters to come out, eat them for cash, repeat. (same thing with the corvettes). I raked several thousand credits from a level 2 station...alone...(no defense fleets) anyhow, yes I'd use the gas collector model. Looks like something fit for the job...hauling salvages. Maybe it should give you MORE salvages? but thats just...overkill?
  4. Stop feeding lies! lol. It still works if you put it in Data. (no gamedata for FoC) Funny thing is I couldn;t get my mod to be read from the modpath and I was SURE the path worked (i used one that worked before). Apparently it didn;t want to read myXML files... anyhow... You can still put the XML file in Data, but Modpath is better practice unless you can't get it to work...
  5. I think that there are several TGAs in each DDS. Therefore, a DDS file is a cleaner way to package everything.
  6. Community's dead...you're all sounding like Kelathin lol. "Warlords, AGD, and Sonic0 has killed us all!" Which is quite true. That and 3000 n00b clone wars mods. Now that DS is...not quite here(?) progress has halted (yay! not). We need someone who can actually skin for crap. Skinners are gone, gone, gone. If someone would make a crappy skin, just a crappy one, maybe we could get 1upD to "reskin" it so it looks better...(what I've been thinking all along).

  8. You should get Kaelics MEG extractor. I prefer that one over RenEvo's because, one it actually works for me, and two, it extracts to the proper folders...(don't know about RE's on this one never got it to work ). Downside is you need to drag each individual file onto the exe to extract.
  9. Make sure to set the structures to have a buildpad and reference them unless you want them un-rebuildable...(gonna change that with my Mandalorian Faction). You may also want to check the individual buildings... I'm drawing blanks here cause as soon as I stuck my buildings into multiplayer marker data pouf it works. If it still doesn't work, worst comes to worst, put the buildings as the starting units.
  10. Copy, paste, rename (hardpoint), change to YES to NO, add to ship...takes about 30 seconds per hardpoint if you're doing it fast.

  12. I did...check your email Ok, will look into that, if I can find a model...I think I have one from Warlords Mass Conversion, but...wondering if I should use it. It goes with adding the new faction, but ruins the "no warlords" theme... debating... Allied with rebels, gotcha...
  13. Yes FoC can play EaW anims. Yes you CAN edit the map
  14. Disable auto-spawning by using the "deploy squadron" code from Executor. Click ability launches one, you can have it return and be "stored"
  15. Mace could very well have survived. If he landed on a building or hovercar then yes, or using the force to help him land on the surface (unlikely), He'd be missing his right arm tho, and slightly fried. Plo could have escaped the crash, it could be possible. Though both are highly unlikely, then again, for all the empire knew, they were dead.
  16. Yes you can bribe Mon Calimari Star Cruisers (3000 credits...maybe will upcost to 3500) and Imperial Star Destroyers (4000 credits - they give you TIE fighters/interceptors/bombers). Only thing you can't bribe are fighters and heroes.

  18. Heck, I'll give you the uncomplied one I made myself if you want. Its actually completely the same as the EaW one...plus some new stuff You don't need to reboot - ctrl-alt-delete end FoC
  19. Haha thats simple! Just grab the EaW released LUA, then just replace some lines with the FoC ones which you extract. You can still read the text, etc.
  20. I've found the Hutt Marauder to be, suprisingly, extremely effective against frigates and corvettes, as well as fighters. A few of them tear down ISDs, and somewhere around 6 takes out a level 5 base no problem...(just me) And I liked the boron missiles because in EaW I was one of the people that can use 3 marauders to kill an empire base extremely quicksly (target the level-1 base reigon for mass effect), although now I'm pissed off because it doesn't work on consortium stations. And those blasted StarVipers!!! F***! Try barraging the area where the ISD is headed, It'll lose its sheilds then all its hardpoints... Anyhow, thx for testing the projectiles

  22. I could place the consortium starbases into the maps, but when I start FoC, I can't see anything. Its probably something to do with my map settings...but meh, you can run EaW Map Editor with FoC models and (some) XMLs. You'll have to put the XML and the Models into the EaW directory, and rename them when you're starting FoC, just in case. But yes, AFAIK it works. FoC still runs, just as long as you don't FinalMEG it and axe every single animation...extract, then remove. But be warned. Thats 1500 animation files to delete
  23. 14 has yet to be done...(technically. Proton Beam !=(does not equal) Superlaser) So technically...we still can't use warlords models but noone remebers that >.< (Thats going by the rules...someone onvert that thing and make it have an actual superlaser. as in...Eclipse style...) === People went for AGD for the tons of new units it offered, but once they got to play it, they're not playing it again. Fatal glitches all over....I don't know how they even released it >.> EaW Enhanced conversions have no LOD over 0, which means....play on low >.<, or have invisible ships
  24. SpecialStructures.xml has the base buildings etc (SpecialStructures_Underworld.xml for consortium)
