  3. Ironically, space skirmish is my favorite mode of play - short battles when one is short on time. Great mod btw...aside from missing my fav mode of play , I'd like GC but saving and reloading and crashing, or starting from square one = for me.
  4. from my experience, the tag is useless... It doesn't do anything, changes the projectile's damage (as seen on some heroes and the Assault Frigate's Tubolasers), and it does its job better and is easier to make sense of.
  5. I changed the explosion and blast radius/damage too...so now the bombing runs is as powerful, if not more powerful than the bombardment after upgrade. You need to buy the nuclear tech on black market before you get to use it, but once you get it its quite...overpowering...since you can bomb the living heck out of the enemy, and drop time-delay nukes with pulse cannon tanks. About the flyers, The ZC is lacking in air-defense, yes...since they lost the Canderous. I'd guess that the Hero Transport can be an assault transport for the ZC. Canderouses can pretty much annihilate those air transports though, I do believe. Better fix those two broken links... Swaps weapons between Ion Cannons (Blue) and Turbolasers (Green). Not like it needs it, but they are now on par with corvettes at a ration of 2 squadrons to one corvette. The way I wanted them to be...making up for the ZC's lack of corvettes. That's about it...a minot update, but I started work on this again.
  7. You can't, sice the trail is a particle emmission....thats why, you get a long trail if its fast and a short trail if its slow.
  8. blue missile trail nice... I think its possible to have it detonate to release buzz droids... hmm...might try that with concussion missile model first.
  9. That's realistic scale though...scaling is a pain...un-scaling is a bigger pain >.< Well, goes to show the saying "looks is everything". Doubt the AI cares XD.
  10. If you want them in a squad use LAND_TEAM_INFANTRY_LOCOMOTOR rather than WALK_LOCOMOTOR...
  11. A collision mesh is for: 1) Selecting the Unit 2) The unit taking projectiles 3) Keeping units apart (doesn't do it very well though)

Ok, going to test this out now XD Edit: Um..ok "We Have Been Defeated" during space skirmish the moment enemy upgrades starbase...can't build any turrets, mines, etc...is that what you mean by "not working very well"? The lucrehulk's hangar smokes too (lol) Well, the AAT does fire a missile....but out of the tubes on its bottom...ring. The NR-N99 Has rockets too, but its supposed to be laser dominant as well...In SWBF2 though, they fired Shotguns and Grenades O_o I totally owned in that thing on Kashyyyk...

Yes true, ships should not be bigger than ships they're smaller than, but overrealistic scalings, like J_C said, Gaint engine glows, or make them too small (like a tiny orb inside a giant engine). not to mention some textures look horrible when upscaled. Well, yes there needs to be general scaling, but not down-to-the-last-meter scaling...that's a little....overkill? lol...somehow, I actually like the fighters that big O_o. I can see them! (Yes I'm half blind - even with a 19" monitor, I can't find fighters, and if I try to zoom I can't find my bigger ships lol). I see icons, then little dots...and when the icon dissapears because of dumb glitch...you know what happens. I lose the fighters. De-scaling (sp?) mods so I can see fighters is rather...tedious. lol. Revan? DS you mean....?
  16. Um If I remeber correctly, Bailknights had Fighter repair ships in EaW, the repair satlleite code can be moved onto ships as well for FoC. Diplomacy...would totally own...but isn't that kinda...hard?

  18. lol me too...skiprays sounds = bad lol. Well, If I have enough time at school, I'll record them on the mac, then send it over to here, hopefully that will work (since I don't thin I can run GarageBand with Windows, and I don't have a Mic at home anyway)...but I might be able to get some of the sounds. Quality depends on if my friends or my teacher(s) are listening to music and if they are using earphones or not... Or, I'll just do it on my sister's computer XD...oh wait, why am I such an idiot...
  19. Well, yes community dead. Noone want to do anything. Good thing most mods self-sufficient by now. Woe is for thee who seek recruitment...like the PFF Mod >.< Can someone please point me to a full version of FRAPS (no money, illegal please) or some other program that does the same thing (again, illegal is fine XD).
  20. Frankly, I'm not a fan of re-scales. They make the game unplayable for me since stuff are so small/big. so...well, thats just me though. Can someone point out why they're good? (please?)
  21. So, 1upD, do you still have that reskinned plex trooper? Imperial Officer with Bazooka is ok too... Well it'd be nice if someone could model and animate it, but doesn't seem like we have ANY infantry modellers at all, except for a few who don't check here.
  22. 1) That would be something along the lines of GUI_Bounds_Scale or something like that...but I think most infantry that are in squads don't have one/need one since they have the squad. 2 & 3 & 5) you Probably aren't using the infantry locomotor, or haven't created a container for them. 7) Um...It does crash sometimes..but for me its only when it saves and I have like...um added too much stuff since the last manual save lol.
