  1. I don't know, I don't think so... But placing the units through an invisible "wall" through the Hole Texture will prevent them from um...firing on your units. (Wall absorbs blaster, if its high enough the missiles will die and grenades can't pass).

I'm stuck this is what I have so far of chapter 3: Edit: I've decided that this is a good place to cut off chapter three...I've begun writing chapter four (about 80% done that) Chapter Three: "All ships are in position, my lord, what is the next order?" The Captain again broke into Zall's chain of thought with pressing matters concerning the battle at hand. It was expected, of course, since what commander would absently daydream in the middle of an intense conflict? Zall sighed and replied, "Give them a taste of hellfire." "Yes, my lord. All ships that haven't done so already, open fire." The resulting firefight outside gave Zall a bit more time to think. Again, he found his eyes fixed on Ennae, something about the swirling clouds gave him a sense of recognition once again, but this time it was accompanied by a dull sensation of impending doom. Zall shook the feeling out of his head, but quickly regreted it. Maybe he HAD a reason to instruct the crew to come here after all...but then again, it would be as illogical as...well, it'd just be illogical. Watching the bridge crew scramble around doing various tasks, Zall felt that there was something he was missing, he didn't know what, and it was making him uncomfortable. "Captain, I'm returning to my quarters to refresh myself. The battle is won, just see it through to the end." Zall sat on his bed and looked around his room, scanning the walls and various shelves for something that would help him think. Inadverdantly, Zall got up and walked around the room, running his hand along the wall. It bumped into something and a part of the wall opened, exposing a dark room. "What's this!?" Zall muttered to himself as he stepped within the chamber. Immediately, a voice rang out for nowhere. "Hello," the voice said to Zall, which was remarkably similar to his own, "I assume you remeber nothing?" Fighting to keep calm, Zall swallowed and replied, "Indeed..." The voice continued as if it had never heard him reply. "If that is so, then this message is directed to you. There is a reason you have forgotten, and you will learn of it soon enough. Then, it will be your choice if you choose to remeber the past, or not. Whatever your choice may be, it will be your final decision and cannot be reverted, so think now, and choose wisely." Zall made up his mind almost instantly. Of course he will choose to remeber. He was someone before, and he is noone now, but the more he thought about it, the mroe it made him uneasy. His thoughts were broken by a booming voice over the intercom "Enemy forces have boarded our ship, all hands, prepare to defend against the boarding parties!" "what madness is this!?" Zall exclaimed as he headed back towards the bridge, "Captain, status report." "My lord, it appears we have underestimated our enemy. they have managed to run a few boarding vessels through or offense and have unloaded troops aboard the Spire and our own ship. We report about 800 enemy soldiers on various decks of our ship." "Is there anything we can do?" The Captain gave Zall a strange look as he said it, but he quickly took it back...
  3. I think its the "Face" of the ship (front view)...looks like a mandalorian helmet.
  4. Hmm...If I can dig up that old code for the AAT, I'll give it to you, but I think I have since deleted it. But anyhow, just Copy the M1-Repulsortank (2M-Tank) Code and change the model...that's all you need to do.

Yes, FoC is nice enough to leave room for you to select that fourth faction, but you can acess a fifth in FoC and a Third in EaW with a little work when in-game (click, scroll mouse wheel), but its annoying...quite annoying. I copied the Zann Consortium, but on reflection, I should have really copied rebels, since it allows for tech levels wihout anything hardcoded (Empire's tech system is hardcoded I think...) And HK-47, the problem with your "hostile A, B, and C" Factions is that skirmish maps ignore ally and enemy (mirror matches anyone?). Instead, it treats every other faction as hostile. Although for GC, you CAN have background battles with Hostile A, B, and C. I think you can add the faction at the end of Factions.XML as well, and it makes a nelegible difference. Well, I haven't run into any game-breaking bugs yet...*knocks on wood* Ok, well, I have a lot of non-reproducable GC glitches, but that's not the case...I'd think I'd get them with the original game. (I did for some). Strange that somethings don't work but some things do. I'm no "master", I coded the whole faction half-blind and fixed up blotches as I went along...lol (Ok, I add this, ok it works, but it looks ugly, why? *fixes*)

  7. Ah yes, well its obvious some of the older ones... I should REALLY get X-wing series...and rebellion...
  8. That works too...but yes smooth breakoffs add to the unrealisim, although breakoffs are unrealistic, they look cool.
  9. lol...that's what a high-quality warlords conversion should be. It should take as long, if not longer than making a decent model from scratch....people always take shortcuts and we end up with crappy conversions a la AGD. Yes, we're missing a "good" ImpStar...something with breakoffs...I think. I think Nal Hutta is big to contrast Nar Shaddaa...and nice projectile on that Mon Cal.

  11. Imperial_Landing_Craft_Landing is supposed to be in the Acclamator's file. Sorry I wasn't clear on that. You need Acclamator_Assault_Carrier in the company. THELAAT/i may need an animation for Landing and Takeoff if it is to work..You can actually have the acclamator itself come down and bomb the surface Low-Level Orbital Bombardment style (by changing the bomber into an acclamator

  16. So...you have 4 options of where to launch. Nose, Sides (Home-One Style), Bottom (star destroyer style) But the nose one...looks kinda funny.

  18. LUA debugger pls. lol. Reactivating shouldn't be too hard actually. But you'd also need to re-wire the XML sandpoxs to see where that'd fit in.
  19. Quite...you'd need to make the correct unit with the correct unit type with the correct unit property marker... Or edit the LUA extensively...
  20. well yes whatever you want spammed, give it a higher AI combat power and a lower cost. But don't autoresolve if it doesn't really affect it. Alternatively, you can use the LUAs "BuildGroundForcesPlan" and "BuildSpaceForcesPlan" (fiddle with the values)...and maybe "ConquerOpponentPlan" Just open up the LUAs provided with the source (yea, they're not comprehensive, but they'll do)

  23. No Not released...it uses only basic EaW/FoC props...but its kinda laggy due to the snow and all the city props including like um...6 generators, about 20 waterfall props and like 30 steampipes and 3 fans... I'll upload it to filefront if you want it... and noooo don't abandon it!
