We discussed this before and I think we learnt that this feature isn't in game.

I doubt we'll see anyhting along the lines of ST:Armada's teleport or even assault craft system. I'd expect something more like we see with the SD and the Tantive at the beginning of EPIV, if it is in there. Somehow I still doubt it is. I wouldn't put it past that it *could* be a hero skill though.

Actually the best counter to fighters is with the medium sized ships, the frigates and cruiser type ships. Fighters can't be a counter to fighters. That makes no sense. Sure the fighter class might work well against the bombers, but while you take those on you've got their fighters punding you. Add a cruiser or corvette and they should be no problem. It's all a matter of balance.

Let's try to put some restraint on putting salt on the developers in future, 'kay? Delphi's comment is a bit mysterious though. I think I remember somewhere there was a mention of tractor beams, and it was suggested they were in. I don't know where though, and I don't think it was Delphi. I'll have a look for it though.

We can only hope. I'd love to see it come out very early December. Any later than the 16th and I'll have to get it on a stupidly slow connection perhaps even have to wait until January for it.

If I'm honest, I don't see too much of a problem with the way it is now. Having said that, since both don't see as much action as the major topics, it does make some sense to combine them into one. As long as you're sure it's the right thing to do, I'm all for it.

Maybe you aught to just assign one person to do the PM. Otherwise the guy will suddenly get inundated with 8 or nine PMs from different moderators all at once. Just a thought.

The people who were posting back in June, July and beforehand took the hit the hardest. It was older stuff that was deleted, that's why most of the posters since September didn't experience that much of a change. And yes, Ghostly and Fosh lost the most amount of posts by quite some way.

I'll give it an 7 too. It obviously is yours since it's part of your mod, and hence is probably more meaningful for you to have than anyone else. I gave it an extra point for that. It looks pretty cool too. Good leadership Avatar.

DOW, which we all know is one of those recent, very popular games doesn't have veterancy. Sure I would have liked it, but it isn't a necessity. Experience and veterancy was one of those things I was expecting not to make it in game fully, with the exception being I thought heroes might have it. I'm guessing from their response Heroes don't at all, but I would have liked to see them level up.

I used to be. But since then I've broadened out into pretty much any sci-fi. I especially like some of the early 20th Century Russian science fiction. I don't forget my roots though.

Maybe I should explain my avatar. It's the from Balok from the original Star Trek. During my youth it became my favorite program, corrupting me to the way of science fiction and probably contributed to the crazy. The alien in my avatar is just a model for a much smaller less intimidating one, who hides his true appearance to intimidate. Not only that, but it was also always the last shot as the show ended. It has significance for me, if not anyone else. The moving eyes I added just cos I felt like it The sig leads to the machinima project I'm head of. It's a comedy based on a set Jedi and Dark Jedi. We don't have a vid up yet because we need some permissions granted, but I'll probably post something in the bar when I do. Feel free to check it out. There isn't much, but it's better than nothing. Gen.Vader gets a 7 for his avatar from VGcats. Just 'cos I like VGcats. Nathan gets a 5. It's a good pic, but it has become a little too pixellated during shrinkage.

List-less. Lacking list. Without list. As in not having list present. So a no list zone containing only all anti-list personae. Gone is the list. To find oneself up a creek without a list. To not be benefited by the presence of list or list-like matter, or any futher indication of list, where list is failing to be present, and all non-listlike legislation remain in effect. NO DAMN LIST! Now that's out of the way, it basically means to be in low spirits or repetative. Boring also works I suppose, but it's not so strong as that. Low morale seems better

Only a 5 and a 6 out of ten? No matter. It stays. At least I'm consistant. 9/10 for TSKNF's clone shooty one. 5/10 monkey head. Is slightly freaky. 7/10 for Swiftdraw's face decimation (have been there) 5/10 for Hadoken13's moving part of the sig and BM avatar. 2/10 for the anime thing. Seems somewhat stretched weirdly.

The problem is that Cain and Ismael can't back up this forum at all, so anything gone is gone forever here. It makes archiving in that way impossible with forumer.com I agree with the Archive idea. Having said that, I don't see the forums in such of a mess as they are. Maybe come release of EAW it might be more of an issue, but as of yet it doesn't look necessary to me. But yeah, if people want to tidy, an archive forum seems like the obvious solution.

I don't care so much about the count, but I do like to keep an eye on how many posts I have a day. I dislike the fact that's gone down. ...Oh, and also the fact Swift's overtaken me. I will have my revenge Ok, maybe I care more than I like to admit.

I could do that probably, but don't delay it off on my account. Like I said, I'm all set up for filming, so unless you really struggle to find people to join it probably isn't worth delaying it. Late term, I'm probably going to have plenty of work whatever day it is. Set a date, and I'll try my best to make it. It's the best I can do.
