  1. You haven't seen 'Easy Rider' then Scathe
  2. The main game developers. Has anyone asked Lucasarts for the source code, Mask?
  3. HECK YEAH!!! Jahled will mumble and press buttons on his stereo over the next couple of days and come back to you...
  4. Thank you for snapping me out of it, Jahled! My forces are now massing...we are preparing for all-out war! ...I know, mine isn't as cool as yours, Jahled my friend, but I tried. By the way, where did you get the name Zoot from? My friend said he named his cat after the girl in the Castle Anthrax in Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail. Not taking any chances there SOCL!! The name? ...emmm...I don't know!
  5. YOU NAIVE FOOL!!! You must know now what starts off as cute turns out as dark and twisted and invariably ends in moments of complete horror and complete and utter devestation ...or had you simply forgotten?
  6. Mask, there was more to the last world cup than met the eye... All the major league certainties forgot that: a} all their players were shagged from their European seasons, b}You can't field a team of superstars on the back end of winning the last World Cup if you have forgotten how to play as a team (ie:France) c}The Italians being shafted in the finals was to blatent to ignore the fact that... d}FIFA was selling the game as opposed to playing the game; you guys in Germany weren't rolled over, but...perhaps...obliged to 'roll over,' what team conjures up all the essense in the mythology of the world cup than Brazil, if you ask your average Joe anywhere in the world? e}The world cup was a marketing spectacle, manipulated from the outset. Korea in the semi-finals; yeah right! I am extremely dubious, as you might have gathered.
  7. Such is the fate of being an entity on the internet!! You complained earlier about not having exposure to any of this stuff, you want me to rumble up some CD compelations; i'm sure i've got samplers lying around of my world groove shit, interested?
  8. A very good point, Jahled, it would indeed take away from the idea of overall conquering and cause the player to start to concentrate on smaller-scale ideas. Perhaps a possible way of turning on or off whether you want to direct the ground engagement or not. I would also like to see fleet engagements that are not only in orbit over planets. I want to see fleet engagements that take place along hyperspace routes and other insignificant locations in space. But that's just me. Sorry to bore you guys with my age again, but about fifteen years ago me and my mates used to play a pen and paper roleplaying game called Traveller, where much of the galaxy was empty sectors... What SOCL's just said brings home the hole point of 'Deep Space combat.' Glandry; agreed, but it could be a whole lot better! Hence this thread, hey dude!
  9. ...errr...golly! Talk about putting me on the spot Trej dude! Top of my head...errr....Vierra....Henry....Wiltord....errr....Pieres....errr.. ...ummm.. .errr.... ummm... someone else.... and someone else as well... and between 1-2 people I forgot... I reckon... and hell, if they're not at Arsenal they're at Chelsea or Manchester United! (spit)
  10. Hi honey, i'm home! You will never guess the day i've had!'
  11. Jahled would have been none the wiser to his devious little feline's scheming had he not noticed something rather odd going on in his lounge...he shrugged, 'Here kitty kitty!'...he somewhat foolishly yelled...
  12. Zoot gets to grips with Stuart Little
  13. You can be so dramatic my Vong friend! BTW: I've just noticed how you've mashed up your avatar with that earlier one....disturb me deeply your Vong workings....
  14. Who knows the workings of his mind, Wormie!
  15. To numerous to mention... I have read ALL of the histories of Middle Earth, and every book concerning Middle Earth. If I wasn't shuch a Star Wars nerd I would talking Tolkein on some Tolkein site...
  16. Right. Stalingrad is perhaps one of the greatest reads of all time, and curiously enough is about the siege of Stalingrad during the Second World War. If you want to read just one book about WW2, this might just well be it. I say no more. Enemy of God is the second book of three books giving a quite simply brilliant account of the legend of King Arthur, and writian by an American. The title is misleading but makes sense when you read the books. A quite simply brilliant view of life after the Romans left the British Isles, Rome fell to the Vandals, and how Arthur might have been...as the Jutes, Angles, and Saxons began landing on my fair shores. Simply brilliant. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets I can offer no explaination for, other than my mum said it was good fun and I couldn't help noticing the book was being read by virtually everyone on the underground who were'nt reading a newspaper so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about....but I can't get into it!!! Loads of French stuff Well I don't understand any of it either, but that's other halves for you from France...
  17. WOOO YAAAAYYYY!!!!! My hat is humbled before you!! WEEEELLLLCCOOOOMMMMEEEE indeed to this site dude...
  18. ...George was indeed struggling with the scene when Mark Hammel let on he to was still pissed from the night before.......meanwhile...Clint was struggling....and I reckon only my fellow Brit Elvis will get this one from an American Werewolf in London... say hello to my little friend...we like Scarface...though that cat is seriously beginning to freak me out!!! Sadly, this Jar Jar Mutilation scene didn't make the final cut...
  19. ...emm..interesting site I shall be viewing a little later. George Lucas cut this from Return of the Jedi, when it became apparent the actor had over indulged the previous night...and Jar Jar Binks got it all wrong as per normal and found himself in the wrong film Hayden Christensen's stunt double........was a bit rubbish really. That cat gets everywhere... BTW: Vader, dude, i've been trying to get someone to use this as an avatar for ages!! You want?
  20. A dark and sinister plot development Wormie, Say, your pet Beaver caused havok last time....
  21. Cool! I found that yonks ago and was trying to figure out a way to have it as a screen saver You got a good taste in web-sites, dude!
