I think I already explained my situation, and this days I've had two exams for which I've had to 'swallow' my books within a day... Not much not much time. Thursday I'll do what I can.
-
In one of the other threads or news about it, they had already said to expect a transition period, with both OT ships and PT designs in it... And most stormtroopers are clones anyway, so this isn't that big a news story...

B&R can you actually check your posts and topics for spelling before posting? The Star Wars Celebration III will take place in Indianapolis. I don't know the dates, and personally do not care about it.

No he doesn't, but he is greatly influenced by his life expierence which is directed by where he lives. In many ways I prefer Ratzinger over most of the Latin-American ones, but on the other hand Ratzinger is much more conservative than Karol Woltyja (sp?) was. It's pretty evident that Benedict XVI is a transition pope, he will not last too long. (Less than a decade, definitely). I do congratulate him and hope he follows the path that Woltyja laid out for the church in the Third Millennium, that he will continue (as GAT says) to better humanity as a whole.

I'm following it too, and I am thankful that the new pope isn't Latin-American (The brazilian wouldn't have mattered to me, but the Honduran or the Colombian is a big no-no). For those that don't know the new pope is Ratzinger, a German: Benedictus, the XVI. (Thankfully he didn't choose Juan Pablo III (or it's name in your language variant))

I couldn't find any reference that they actually did that, nor would I think that a bunch of old guys would be humored to play with the international press like that.Plus it'd be highly unlikely for the decision to be taken within a day. My guess is that they'll take a few more days. (Thursday?) It's probably your TV station playing a joke on you, than the Vatican Conclave playing a joke on everyone else.

Just wondering are the fighters also Rebellion scaled? (Each fighter represents a squadron?)

Codec is short for COdieier-DECodifier. It's a little 'tool' that helps you transform data in both directions, the most common applications of codec in media is to compress (file size reduction), transfer (digital to analogue or backwards) or encrypt. If you download a video, you might need the right codec to view it. (For instance you open a video file (AVI) and you only hear sound and see a black screen, you need the right codec to decode the video.) Sometimes hunting for the right codec can be tiresome. That's why some smart folk came up with codec packs where you download a bunch of codecs at once. Links: G-Spot: A small computer prog, than analyzes a video file for you and tells you which codec it was encoded with. http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ The KLite Codec Pack: A codec pack with the most common codecs in use these days http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Video/Codec-Packs-Video-Codecs/KLite-Codec-Pack.shtml

"Can ‘Star Wars: Episode III’ be saved?"
Trejiuvanat replied to Trejiuvanat's topic in General Discussion
That'd be a good synthethized version of NJO, as in the other books there's not much going on. Traitor is the best of the bunch, with Star by Star in second place. -
A Reloaded - Themed Box design contest?

Very nice. It looks very Rebellion.

INTERIOR DEATH STAR DAY - IMPERIAL CORRIDOR A long corridor stretches out seemingly endless. An astromech crashes repeatedly on the walls, then turns and crashes again. SPEAKER: Crazy astromech in sector D. Another metallic thud caused by the astromech. SPEAKER: Repairdroids down to sector D, corridor Besh - 5 The astromech takes impulse and crashed against a bulkdoor and drops on the floor unable to get to its 'feet' again. From its domed 'head' a golden liquid oozes out. Two humanoid droids walk down the corridor and approach the fallen droid. One extends a metallic finger and touches the liquid. MAINTENANCE DROID 1: Looks like this one had plenty of that Corellian junk. MAINTENANCE DROID 2: Droid Liquor should not be allowed on Imperial ships. This one had even begun to talk about Outer Rim Politics. Help me get him up and bring him to the workshop. The droid pick up the fallen cylindrical droid and take him with them to a lift.

Piracy: The good, the bad, and the ugly.
Trejiuvanat replied to BadSamaritan's topic in Outside Interests
Foreign countries like Costa Rica. It's a matter of perspective. Most foreign countries do have respect for copyright laws, but don't have an economy strong enough to buy original stuff (it's mostly a conversion of the dolalr price and taxes, and the usual extra payments for intermediaries). And that's not only talking software, or videos/DVD, CDs. It's also books. Public university around here is based on photocopies/clones of books, there's no other way a third world public university could get the original texts. It's not a disrespect to copyright laws, it's simply that it isn't functional. And if it starts out as a masked suggestion by the government, it slowly becomes a tendency and everyone's pirating stuff. (we bankrupted the local Blockbuster, as they couldn't keep up with pirate video rentals). -
Graphics still aren't the best. More troops would be welcome.

Hey I've had some trouble these days, my mom's been hospitalized due to her epillepsy and I'll be with her for a few days so i won't even have the time to read ,much less post for a few days. so for the time being you guys sjhould finally work out the damned ord mantell battle and end it. stellar take care of the empire while i'm gone, you know more or less what i wanted for this and what i want for the empire afterward.... i'lll drop a quicky pm and then be-gone for a handful of days.. take this page's high post count as our interest in your work, also the view of this and the ic thread are very high, so there's more people than us reading the story.

Keep in mind that Palpy will turn the Senate and Galactic Opinion against the Jedi. It was a Jedi who started the political insurrections (Dooku) (most people won't tell the difference between a Sith or a Jedi) and that Jedi broke into the Chancellor's chambers and tried to arrest him. Combine a galactic wide fear of the Jedi's abilities (especially after they've seen them in battle) with their recent role in politics and you'll ahve lots of people siding with Palpatine against the Jedi even if they do not fully endorse the New Order.

Yeah me too!

The Empire of the Hand has already had an appearance, one of the first Imperial - Rapora battle was fought and lost by the Empire over Nirauan. Csilla is also gone. There is still another EoH ofshoot around, and there's still what remains of the Chiss. Actually the Chiss and the Empire of the Hand are only minimally featured in NJO. The late NJO Plot focus on the Jedi rather than on the macro-political system, even though there are some changes. As the Vong have already been dealt with in the RP, I don't think there's much to do for them. One of the characters is a Vong but there isn't much reference to the invasion. Try reading some of the first pages of the RP to get a general idea of how it started. There shouldn't be too many spoilers there.

That you must edit manually using ResHack. You must open TEXTSTRA.DLL and edit three of the elements of the String Table (one for every rank). I canot remember the exact numbers. As for the models, try Mask's Tutorials. And use his Model Importer program to replace them in your game. -
I'll hopefully will get to the pre-premiere, somewhere on the 16th or 17th instead of 19th of May. No annoying 12-year-olds there.

No, perhaps not... Mine was probably was an unexpected release of stress, caused by a nocive combination of Real Life and occasional forumers that just drop oneliners demanding quick answers or links for everything... [sigh] I'll give you a quick answer about the plot of the Rapora Wars. It's set about 8 years following the end of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion, Grand Admiral Thrawn's second clone is alive and the Jedi have helped rebuild the galaxy after the Invasion. Then a series of attacks occur, which leave the Jedi perplexed as to who the attackers are, as they use lightsabers. Near the Imperial borders and Chiss borders there are attacks on outposts. The conflict begins to escalate as the Raporan fleet leave their homeplanet by order of their leader, the mysterious 'Timeless One'. Lots of subplots are derived as the Rapora begin a campaign of ruthless conquest aided by terrible warmachines while the Chiss Consortium and the Imperial Remnant struggle for survival. There's a whole Force subplot, Imperial, Mandalorian, Chiss and Thrawn subplots in tehre. This last paragraph refers to our RP, the former two refer to Stellar's introduction to the story.

I agree with your point, it's essentially what I myself thought, but this brings up another topic one which I think I've said before (or was it at the Costa Rica SW site?). Anyways, I've said that after the duel both Anakin and Obi-Wan are dead. One has become Darth Vader, denying the existence of the good man Anakin Skywalker once was, and the other had to renounce to his identity and his status and become an hermit. Ben had to kill Jedi Obi-Wan and become an eccentric old man.
