When I think of Brits, tea, crumpets, and the term "queer street" (which, if memory serves me well, means you're broke or becoming broke).

Its real cool. It fits right in my wallet with my credit cards. I saved the day several times with those scissors and the screwdriver. A truely amazing device. And I am now scarred for life after seeing that pic of Tofuties.

Well it is one of the premere party schools in NY state.

I don't know, but apparently its not called "Stoneyonta" for nothing (the school is actually named Oneonta).

I hate college exams. Last semester I had all 3 finals on the first day and my last final on the second day, so I was able to go home early then. But this semester my finals week is actually two weeks (Wed-Fri, then Mon-Tues), and so far I have 2 finals on Monday. GAH!!!!!!!!

But at least your nice and toasty inside. I was warming up in my car the past hour.

The heat in my apartment went off and Im really cold. Its 18F outside right now...

So I took a class titled US Presidency, and the class was at 9am. I go there, and realize that its not a history class. Its a political science class, and the purpose of the class is to "further explore the inner workings of the presidency". Now I took basic US Gov last semester, and I'm taking a class on interpeting the Constitution this semester. I don't think I need another Government class. So I walked over to the offices and dropped US Presidency for Napoleon and the French Revolution, which starts in about an hour.

Rather than creating a new thread titled "Crazy Caribbean Peoples & Culture Professor", I decided to recycle. I love the earth that much. So my Caribbean Peoples & Culture Professor is quite odd. He handed out the syllabus/course outline, and it stated in big bold letters "The CDs containing music relevant to this course are on reserve in the library. You must listen to the assigned tracks prior to each class". Then as he's talking he says, "This is not a music course. There is absolutely no music involved in this course." So one kid raises his hand and asks what's up with the syllabus. The professor just shakes his head and says "I miss tobacco. I haven't had a cigarrette in 40 years. But I've had a few joints since then..." I think it will prove to be an interesting class.

Exactly. I prefer the puppets, costumes, and models (for ships and vehicles) to the computer animation.

Well I stopped by my job to get my schedule for the week and they only put me down for 2 days!!! If this keeps up I'm gonna have to move on to greener pastures. The main man wasn't there today so I'll have to emphasise my discontent with his scheduling abilities on Thursday when I go back...

I have to go back to work on Wednesday after having about 5 weeks off. Blah.

My mom makes the most outrageous chicken catchatori in the world. She would throw chicken, mushrooms, onions, and carrots into a pot with tomato sauce and wine. It would simmer for hours, so when its done the chicken comes right off the bone. Then you slap some of the sauce ontop of mashed potato. Thats good eating.

Actually I think Vader would have been quite a force to reckon with at that time. It was during this time where he was full of anger (at many things, including himself) and fear. He was extremely powerful in the dark side after his battle with Kenobi on lava world.

I agree with EM. Yoda had to hide out so that he could the new generation. If Palpy got wind of Yoda helping the Rebellion, he would have had Vader out after him in a second. Yoda just couldn't it. As for Leia, I think she probably got confused at a young age with memories of the Organas. The question is, how much did the Organas tell her? Did they tell Leia that her mother died during childbirth, or that she died while she was young? As for Boba, it might have had to do with technology. Maybe the blaster rifle proved to be a more powerful and accurate weapon than two pistols. Also, since Boba was aged naturally, he had more time to develop his own unique personality.

I voted for the Greek Acropolis, Chichen Itza, the Colosseum, Easter Island Statues, Great Wall of China, Pyramids of Giza, and Stonehenge. Why wasn't Skywalker Ranch on there?
