This year will be the second annual Festivus celebration! Based on the holiday depicted on Seinfeld, my friends and I throw a Festivus party on December 23, before I leave to go to Long Island for the holidays. We do it all! My friend bought the aluminum pole, which is proudly displayed in the corner of his house for the celebration. I am in charge of the airing of greviences, where i sit at one end of the table and go around, roasting everybody. Its great. We also celebrate Festivus with the re-gifting of a fruitcake. The fruitcake was given to my one friend last year, and she froze it for the whole year. Now every year someone else will receive the fruitcake, freeze it, and then re-gift it again! And as for the Feets of Strength, my friend and his girlfriend wrestle around. But we also made some personal modifications to make it more. For one, we have an event called Intellectual Superiority in which we all play the game Apples to Apples, which is a great party game. This year we're also gonna have a DDR dance-off and some of us are gonna take part in a 6-man Hell-In-A-Cell match on the wrestling ps2 game. It's all loads of fun!

HAHA! I bought that album for my godmother Mad! @LLF- Hmmm...My gf is lucky this year. I got her tickets to see a broadway show down in NYC. She loves those musicals. I bought my parents a gift certificate to a restaurant back home. And I bought my dad a rubber mallet, to replace the one I broke over the summer installing a badmitton net . As for my sister, each year we each get the other one the new Simpsons DVD season. For some reason, those Fox morons wait until the week right before Christmas to release it. Yar!

Now you see, I'm treating myself to a PS3 after I graduate in 2 years. Its just that I cant drop that much money right now. And the Wii is so cheap. But dont get me wrong, I am not relying on the Wii. Im sticking to my PS2 also. I have it nicely modded so it will be good for the next 2 years. But I was upset about the non-vibrating controler when I read about it in a magazine. I love "feeling the impact" while playing a game. As for the 360, I dont like it. But the sad thing is that everyone in this school plays 360. I only found a handful of PS2ers. So sad...

Theres plenty of Wii's about. I went shopping all last weekend (yes, the scary Black Friday weekend) and saw several in several different stores. And the markup for them on ebay isn't too bad. Rob will be Wii-tastic by his birthday in April.

I used to treat myself all the time. Then I went back to school, started living on my own, and only worked part time, so the personal goodies had to stop. But I did buy some rather nice stuff back in the day. And I have to agree with JH. What is that? A mixer or something?

157 hours definetly blasts any records I ever had on a game. GOSH!

I am ressurecting this in order to moan about the final weeks of school. I am not looking forward to finals week. I have three finals on next next Monday, back to back. And these three finals are the 3 I will be studying for. And it all starts at 8AM . Then theres my papers. I have 2 due. One is almost done, which was a 15-pager comparing and contrasting the Roman Republic to the Germanic northeners. That wasn't too bad. My other paper is a 6-pager about the smallpox epidemic in America that lasted from 1775-1782. I gotta write about why this should be included in discussion in a course devoted to colonial America. Blah to it all!!!!!!

My favorite television sci-fi show is Futurama. They knock off of Star Wars all the time. Whether its the cops with light sabers or the Near-Death Star as an elderly person retirement home. Always plenty of laughs.

Speaking of jobs, I was working tonight at the local restaurant. Some kid comes up to me and points at the chocolate mousse (sp) cake and asks "what is that?". I say "mousse cake", and hey says "oooh booze cake" and prepares to take a piece. Then I said, "no, no. It's mousse, not booze," and the kid got upset and walked away disappointed.

I loved Final Fantasy VII, and that's all I played. XII looks ridiculously awesome, but right now I'm trapped playing Bully and the new Wrestling game...

I was not at all crazy about The Village. And don't even get me started on the even lamer Lady in the Water. But Signs kicked butt!
