There is a similiar thing here in NY. NYC is constantly pressuring to become its own state. I'm fine with that, since most of my tax dollars pay for those city slickers.

We are now learning about the biology of the ocean, as in the different fish, sharks, whales, that kind of stuff. Here's todays quote while showing us a slide of a humpback whale jumping out of the water: "I am not easily impressed. Seeing a 40-ton sack of blubber come leaping out of the water and doing a backflip in mid-air is very impressive. I went to the Grand Canyon and hiked up and down it. That was impressive. I saw a gogo dancer once...but let's not get into that." And another one while showing us a slide of a narwhal: "You see, the Japanese float around looking for narwhals because they use the big tooth as an aphrodisiac. They grind it up and use it when they get in bed. Supposedly, you can last DAYS in bed with that. But that's a bit too much...I think you would get sore." He's a character...but it makes the class a tad more interesting.

For some reason I always assumed that tofu was derived from mushrooms. It sure looks like something you'd find while walking through the forest or growing in your shower...

I fear the release of the Wii more than the release of the PS3. The Wii retails for soooo much cheaper, so more people are going to be inclined to snag one. I think that the release of the Wii may cause the Apocolapse and the second coming of Hannibal...

I don't know which was worse...the graphics, the gameplay, the controls, or the fact that the Gammorean guard character would grow to 4 times his size and then shrink back down to normal size by blowing fire out of his mouth like a flamethrower. Or the Tusken Raider who bellowed out green poisonous gas. Or...man, I can go on forever about that game.

For those of you who don't know, Sony's PS3 releases on Friday. I just wanted to say how there were sick and mentally insane people sitting outside retailers yesterday. I went grocery shopping at Walmart, and there was a line in front of the store of 14 people who were sitting in lawn chairs waiting for Friday to get a PS3. That is the most disgusting thing in the world. Who can sit outside for 3 days just to get a freakin video game system that will be available to everyone in the world at a reduced price 3 months from now???
