This one time a few years back I decided to go to work with an eyepatch on. I told everyone that I had been burned my HCl in Chemistery class. Everyone believed me and it was so great, and it looked cool. So I kept doing it for 3 days, and on the 4th day I walk in without it, and they're all like "oh, did your eye heal already?" and I just looked at them and said "what are you talking about?". I confused a lot of people then. It was funny.

That is so true. @Mad: I believe that Everquest was like WoW where you had to pay the monthly fee to play.

One theory is that Sasquatch is actually an alien. You see, aliens are here, on earth. They constructed underground bunkers where they bide their time, studying the human world, until the time is right to strike. Sasquatch is placed in the area of the underground hangar by the aliens as a guardian. And just so you know, this is full of truthiness since I read it in a book. And books don't lie.

Actually that option for just for you Tofuties. @ LLF and J: Are there any "sightings" by you guys? I know I never heard of one in England (since the Sasquatch was probabally kicked out by giants and fairies) or Hungary.

I was wondering what everyone thought of the Bigfoot-type animal. I have had a fascination with the lore of it for years. I just find it so amazing that the same animal is claimed to exist in so many different countries, with varying names, colors, sizes, etc. Here in the states and I think parts of Canada its called Sasquatch. But there are some different variations of it from state to state. I was curious to what everyone thinks, and also what it is actually called where you live.

I didn't want to see the new one since I like the old trilogy so much. But I suppose now that it's on DVD I will check it out eventually.

Never broke any bones. But a few years ago I was on my quad driving through the woods, and I was going up a hill. Only I didn't go up fast enough, and the quad flipped over. It landed on my foot, but that was fine. However I received a small scar when my chin landed on a rock.

I'm also reading the "Inheritence" series. Its a trilogy- "Eragon" being first and "Eldest" the second. The third book is still being written. THe story is about "Dragon Riders" and how suddenly the last dragon is found and begins training. The first movie is due out in either November or December.

Just thought I'd resurrect this topic with some of my magic necromancer powers! I have been reading The Wheel of Time series lately. There are 11 books, a prequel, and the author (Robert Jordan) is currently writing book 12. I am on book 5 right now. A great, engrossing fantasy series. I must say that, next to The Lord of the Rings, it is my favorite fantasy series. Great, great stuff!

Hey, that's just America. Those unemployed peeps are unemployed because no one will hire them...it's because they are lazy. Im sorry, but there are always places hiring people to do the simple labor jobs. If those lazy bums would rather sit around and mooch off the system than actually do some work, then tough bananas to them.

I like my southern neighbors. As much as I hate to admit it, the US needs those southern friends. You sure as heck aren't gonna catch me working in onion fields or washing dishes for the rest of my life. Someone's gotta do it.

I just saw The Prestige over the weekend. This is one movie that HAS to be seen in theatre. VERY VERY GOOD FILM!!!!!!!
