Youtube has already removed hundreds of thousands of copyrighted material. Google won't risk a lawsuit from the major movie and TV studios.

And now...

Do you "Google"?

From the Google blog

http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2006/10/do-you-google.html

And various responses including Yahoo and Ask

Quite funny parody from Ask :)

Wow... Google Inc. is definately not happy about their brand name being used in such a way. I'm definately going to use it like that now  Google is the devil.

I love my gmail!!!!!

Ditto... Though the cfl accounts have a the same amount/even more memory than google, google has that handy chat function and the E-mail search option... and the stars...

I, personally, will stick to G-mail, and will probably go right on using Google for my internet searches.

AdAware SE Personnal

and

Spyware S&D

are two must haves when it comes to protecting your PC. And they are FREE!!!

I'll second AdAware - it's a fantastic SpyWare Malware removal tool.

I'll also add to it Windows Defender

First off, you need a legit copy of Windows for this program.

Now, Defender is a bit different too AdAware. AdAware is a program that you run to search for the spyware, like an anti-virus tool. However, it's not dynamic.

Defender, while no where near as good as AdAware, is a simple and allows two levels of system scanning - but also works in real-time, so is constantly checking the cookies you download.

That's not to say to use it by itself - heck, the Microsoft website suggests AdAware as well! 8O

Secondlly, I'd suggest upgrading your Internet browser to either Internet Explorer 7 or Fire Fox 2 (Personally, I feel safer with FF1.5 after hearing about a lot of bugs in FF2 :? )
