  1. Hahahaha I read that too and thought it was funny.
  2. Linkin Park - By myslf
  3. Well, I cant dispute Tom's ego I do have to say that overall I like most of his movies. I thought he did a good job in Collateral as a villain. Honestly, I think you might not like the guy but I do have to give him props for being a good actor.
  4. I am glad people seem to like it. I havent seen it yet myself though I have seen the old 50's/60s movie and I thought it was pretty cool. Cant wait to see this one.
  5. Actually Lucas in one interview after Ep3 came out, said that the mention of Plagueis served two roles. One, it was to make the audience decide on their own if Plagueis was some kind of super Sith Lord more powerful than Palpatine who had possibly created Anakin. Two, it was maybe a story Palpatine said about himself, and that he was in fact Plagueis. My take on it is that Plagueis is in fact Palpatine's master and that Plagueis must have had this knowledge of using the midichlorians to create life and didnt tell Palpatine about it. As a result, when Palpatine decided to become the master he killed his teacher and more than likely when going over his teacher's notes and so on discovered that his master had in fact found a way to achieve immortality. Palpatine himself said to Anakin after Mace got thrown out the window that 'to cheat death only one has attained that power but if we work together..' so in other words, he more or less confirms that Plagueis was in fact his master.
  6. I think we are taking the whole inertia and lasers have sounds in space thing a little too far. It wouldnt be exciting as a movie for us to simply see a light show and not hear anything. As for the inertia part its been stated in many novels and technical stuff that these vehicles have inertia compensators which, somehow have the ability to counter the effects of inertia which is why these ships act the way they do. As for the faster than light thing, I think most recently in the Ep3 technical thing that SW ships have relativistic shielding/stasis shielding which 'slows down' the aging a pilot or passenger goes through when they accelerate faster than light that way when they are done with the journey they arent like 300 yrs old and everything in the galaxy is different. At any rate its sci-fi and just interesting.
  7. I dont recommend following Igor's advice. Hahahaha. Crazy kid. jk Igor you know I love you.
  8. There is in fact still MASS. One has to remember that the words 'weight' and 'mass' are not the same. Weight in fact means the effect of gravity on you. Mass is something different. A TIE fighter has much less mass than a Star Destroyer and as a result requires less energy to get it going.
  9. Oh well, nice try though man.
  10. Nice you got it right. I liked that Monty Python movie. As for your quote...I dont know the movie it comes from. Its probably one I saw but its escaping my mind at the moment.
  11. I have been seeing ads for this on tv for the past month. It might have been on more (the ads) but I rarely watch tv. At any rate it seems like it could be interesting. I admit I am a big fan/buff of the Roman Empire and this show seems like it would be entertaining to watch. Hail Caesar!
  12. You dont like Jessica Alba!?! Go see Sin City!
  13. That was good whoever guessed Snatch, you were right. A good movie and yes like another poster said before you should go see Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels first since it is the first movie Guy Ritchie did and Snatch follows a similar style. As for another quote here we go, I hope someone can guess this one... "Your a rwoman?" -"No a roman" "Centurion slap him!" I think the british members of the board will get that quote hehe.
  14. I dunno, Doom is one of those villains I read about who can almost do anything. Didnt he build himself a cosmic cube or something which in theory would allow him to destroy Galactus? Anyway, Dr. Doom is a pretty neat villain from what I remember reading and the lightning power doesnt bug me, what will bug me is not seeing Jessica Alba in a nice form fitting outfit of some kind.
  15. Except, you really have a friend in there bobandrubert. If so, you could ask him about the whole process with that code. Well that letter should be recieved by the Lucas game production team, or the section where they deal with all rights and licenses of their products. Its true that 'friends in high places' could count for something in this instance. At any rate if you can get the code cool, if not no biggie.
  16. Seeing as how I was playing Baldurs Gate 2 earlier I guess the current music I was listening to was the theme music from that game. I love that game and it has some great music too.
  17. Hehehe. Well I myself am doubtful the Fantastic 4 movie will be very good. Again probably one of the only reasons I might go and see it is for Jessica Alba, she was very hot in Sin City and I have no doubt she will be equally hot in this movie. Other than that though the movie itself is not very intriguing to me.
  18. French toast is good too plus some nice crispy bacon..mmmm. However usually during the week I dislike spending a lot of time cooking stuff so I tend to eat the more mundane cereal with milk as my breakfast. During the weekend it then becomes the toast and eggs routine.
  19. I saw it today. I felt in some ways it was better than the first Batman that Michael Keaton did with the Joker played by Jack Nicholson. In a way this one I felt was less comic-book and more like a real-action movie without the silliness associated with a comic book story. Of course I did like Katie Holmes, she was very nice on the eyes . Lets see what else, Christian Bale played a pretty good Bruce Wayne, amazing how much lifting and weight he gained for the role. I saw the movie Equilibrium not too long ago and he was definitely an athletic fellow but in this movie he seemed massive by comparison.
  20. I picked beans , toast, eggs and bacon. However, I dont actually eat beans in the morning usually, but it was the closest option to what I eat.
  21. Well, its just that most of us veterans of the board who remember a fellow named JediGreg promised us much too..and when I was chatting with Igor many months ago or maybe last year about it, nothing happened. I am sorry but for the guys who were around back before the switch to these new boards we have seen a lot of false promises and other things being made etc and after a while one can only shrug your shoulders with indifference. Would it be cool, yes if the source code was released. Will it happen, very doubtful.
  22. I am doubtful that will happen too.
  23. NOOOOO it sounded like such a cool mod too.
