I dont want to replace the old textures - just give users the options of choosing different looking textures for the same model. So, correct me if I'm wrong, but that will replace the old model in the upload page?

I'd think Zoot (*Krytos hopes he doesn't invoke the wroth by calling his name*) would be better as Palpatine. So, I guess I've decided on being the replacement for Adar Talon. I'll attempt to make up a story and stats for him soon. I wont put myself down for working on the mod, because I've got my priorities with Reloaded still But, I can make some models if need be

Hmm, I'd think the Reloaded Sector should be the illusive Rebel HQ? Just a thought. So, if we're replacing the different sectors: Sesswanna should be General Discussion Sector, Outside Interest another etc. - though with a different, yet simular, name (none comes to mind however ).

Never been a huge fan of Halo (with obvious exceptions of RvB), but that thing is AWESOME!!!! !!!!

I voted Caxo as well. After re-reading both stories, I found that I rather disliked Ranar's story and enjoyed the background of Caxo (perhaps a few things might be changed, such as his sister being a senator and being killed by the Empire - which seems pretty much like a combination of a lot of other cliche character backgrounds).

Ok, as I mentioned a little while back, I've created some new textures for several of the models I created (so far the Ranger, Defender and Majestic version 1). So the question is, how am I to package them? Re-upload the entire model with new textures? Add the three required textures in a zip file with a text file explaining what to do? Or something else (and if you suggest other, please post a reply with what "other" is )? I'm not sure if a system has already been put in place for such a thing - so if that's the case those in the know please tell Otherwise, I'll let the others descide on how it will go down. Also, am I to assume the correct area to upload these new textures is to the RebEd/Model Editing/Texture? It sounds like the right area - though I dont really want to upload anything to the wrong place

Good idea Tofu (can't believe I just said that ). Well, following the character treatment, I guess that will make me a researcher of some sort - preferably something to do with warships, and the Rebellion. So I could replace either Wedge, Ackbar or Adar - and considering I'd hardly ever consider myself upto the league of Ackbar, that leaves me open for the other two I'd suggest that Fish Face replace Ackbar (for obvious reasons). I'm also coming up with a story to go with my character. Quick question, if it's going to be a TC - are there plans to replace starships etc. ?

The one I'm thinking of just looks simular anywho (I've had a search on the 'net and can't find the pic anymore - I'll have to try my other computer sometime). @Mad: They're pretty much those large pads with wireless pens that you can draw with rather than a mouse. Woo, pictures work again! My internet is finally working properally again Thanks AFF. I'll use those to work more on the model. I've actually, finally, taken the plunge and decided to start learning how to use 3d max properly I've got a book (3ds max 6 Bible) which is 1254 pages long or so Might take me a while --- Hmm, that design looks really familur Mitth. How old is it? I could have sworn I saw a model that looked like that on the old SWMA webiste ? --- Interesting picture Mad . . . I stopped drawing in PS since starting up modelling, but have taken back to it a bit with texturing and when I borrowed a Wacom Tablet (must buy one of them soon!) Nice start! --- I use to do a ton of image editing - from making backdrop collages to editing my friends images to "pretty" them up. My year 11 teacher thought I should apply for a job at some magazine company. If you've got any descent photoshop skill - you can always try that. This happens quiet a bit - there was a discussion about it a while ago here: http://www.swrebellion.com/forums/posts2473-0.html It discusses the best ways to bombard the planet as well as using spec ops. I'd suggest if you can't get any sabatage missions to work, build up a large fleet and to get the best bombardment value, use carriers loaded up with Y-Wings (Y-Wings have a bombardment value of 3 - which is more than most warships)

Unfortunately, they're not the only ones - Australia has well and truly joined that band wagon. I work in a Fish n' Chip store (hopefully for not much longer), and we constantly get people ordering greasy food and want to wash it down with a Diet Coke (or now, the new Coke Zero). I constantly fight the urge to tell them what I think There is one guy who is on the top of this list for me. Every Saturday for about 3 months in a row, this guy would come in and order 3 double cheeseburgers, large chips, some flake and potato cakes (for two people) and end it off with a 1.5 litre diet coke. Not only is the Diet Coke redundant after that binge of grease, there's that much of it by itself that there's no point bothering with the diet variant. Ah, that's my gripe for tonight

I'm affraid I don't know much of the American law system, though if there are any simularities between the law in America and Australia - it's doubtful that you'll get jail time. Generally, here you'd loose your liscence for a minimum of 6 months and then be hit by a big fine and/or community service. It's a good idea to talk to a lawyer about this sort of thing. I know here that some lawyers will give advice for free, and if you're part of a University or simular they usually have a law department that can help (that being said, if you have a friend doing a Uni course you can get them to find out the info for you). Good luck with it, how long until you go to court?
