What files in particular could cause this? I didn't have any errors at all, the game just closed itself down. Normal FoC works fine, as does the first version of the mod.(Did you download it yet?) Conveniently located in one XML. MP1 had pirates with their heads in between and below their shoulders.MP2 had slightly avian (urai fen) models with beaks and all.MP3 were somewhat different.i think it's likely to be a phazon evolution throughout the episodes.the problem is GF. there aren't any models with square helmets and a visor of that shape. perhaps a mandalorian model.

vadereclipse Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 you don't see much of the GF troopers in MP2, and they serve only as a plot mechanism, but in mp3, they appear a lot, and are quite distinctive. their helmet is not cylindrical like a clone, but boxy. and the visor is a square on the front. clones wouldn't do. also, their armour is distinctive. i think a mandalorian would be best.

The pirates have such a capacity for modifications to their own bodies, as long as the Space Pirates I make look alien and have the same traits as the Space Pirates of Metroid Prime, they will be convincing. Trust me. Also, the Space Pirates have always been avian, until Metroid Prime for some unknown reason. The MP3C pirates are less avian due to phazon, but their is no known reason why the MP1 pirates are so humanoid/insectoid. Maybe they are a different species of pirate. The GFP will not be featured until a few releases from now, as right now the mod is just showing Phazon and the Space Pirates invading the Star Wars galaxy. It will be a TC someday if it survives that long. BTW, I had planned to use the Mandalorian model for the GF marines for a while now. I was thinking of using SBDs as space pirates from the classic series.(They look different) Steambots were only seen on Elysia, so until I add Elysia I think I'll wait.
