Hey guys! Long time no seen eh? Well, I've been modding my game in the last days and I was thinking if someone made new skins/models related to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.. I recommend you to start with space stuff. Like, try to make another version of some unit already in-game, like the Acclamator, since it's code is 'basic' and it has just a few hardpoints, all different to each other. Then, I suggest to take a look at the Projectiles.xml to see how they work... Then, after you get how the space thing works, move to land stuff... There are many tutorials around the EaW community... You can find many of them here at PFF.

Dude, didn't you read "almost everything in the game"?! Or do you want a detailed information, like: - Factions stuff => Factions.xml and Expansion_Factions.xml - Land vehicles => GroundVehicles.xml - Infantry => GroundInfantry.xml - Spaceships => SpaceUnitsCorvettes.xml, SpaceUnitsFrigates.xml, SpaceUnitsCapital.xml, SpaceUnitsFighters, Squadrons.xml... - Starbases => StarBases.xml and StarBases_Underworld.xml ??? Also, the DAT Editor and the String Editor are almost the same thing...

lol They ARE posting for new mods!!! Take a look at the other topics of the General Workshop Board... ^Yep... I think modding the game demo is now completelly useless... Wish good mods? Take a look at the Hosted Projects board and make some searchs throughout the forums and EaW Files, also I recommend the already 'finished' mods for FoC from: Jeteye, Droid803, 1upD, Major Payne, z3r0x, Mr. Caine and many others that I forgot now... ;D -
UH? Just look at the rest of the General Workshop board and other sites like Everything EaW and even EaW Files Forums! ;D Of course they noticed! That's why they don't post in this topic anymore - see above! lol Ah, you probably have interest in modding the FoC Demo... Oh... But wait, don't you have FoC? You gave some unit ideas for the ZC, so I think you must have FoC, no?! ??? lol

Argh, my 'limited' English is a problem sometimes... I hope this picture took in Google Earth helps understanding what I wanted to say... http://img523.imageshack.us/img523/5969/vitriagoogleearthaj2.png --> Ah, it may look that it isn't an island, but it IS an island, it's just because I couldn't get the top of the screen well on the picture... Also, I made some 'typos': I wanted to say that there are some hills in the island itself, but there are big mountains 'behind' the island (in other words, in the west - have in mind that in this case the island face would be the east/Atlantic Ocean), in the continent itself, that cause a very different point of view of a person who is in the island, as example, if you look to the east you will see the ocean - beach stuff etc, and if you look to the west, you will see the mountains (grab a car and in about 40 minutes/1 hour you will be in other climate with different landscape and that 'stuff' around you)... A local marketing said something about "40 minutes beetwen the coconut water and the vine", but err, it doesn't sound good in English... Damn language 'barrier'... Yes, that's a very nice opportunity to start mapping. It isn't that hard, unless you're trying to do a freaking detailed land map... Also, it seems that you're creative, and that's nice in mapping... Hehe thanks! FEEL THE POWER OF THE FELUCIAN BEETLE! I used the beetle model (obviously) and the projectile 'Luke's lightsaber' (used by Luke's throw lightsaber ability I think) to make it in the Map Editor...

The Consortium may have a few units, following what you said, but it's a way overpowered. And just because Tyber "would probably want soldiers who can't be corrupted or bribed as well as tortured if captured or disobey orders" and "soldiers who needed no ay and could be replaced extremely quickly", doesn't mean that he would be able to get all the CIS stuff. I think adding the Droidekas MkII, and the Spelunker Probe Droid as example of some other units from this kind is interesting, but all the units, including Recusants, etc, isn't...nice... It makes the ZC be no more the ZC, and just a 'reborned CIS'... Well, that's my opinion though, if that's make the game more fun to you. That can be done, there are many mods that add a bunch of CIS units for the ZC. Check EaW Files.

What...? Now you were specific but not clear lol One mod has a modded Factions.xml FILE (not folder) and the other has a couple of modded XMLs but it doesn't have a modded Factions.xml, is this what you meant? If so, just add the modded Factions.xml to the other mod, and it will run with no problens...

Yes it is. But it requires XML Editing, otherwise you will just make the game go BOOM!

Unfortunatelly, Droid's Mod doesn't work with the campaign... I think I know how to currect it... When you make a new faction, add ZZZ in front of it's name (i.e.: the new faction I'm making is called Trade Guild, but in the XMLs, it's named as ZZZ_Trade_Guild) because this ZZZ will make that faction to be the last one that the game will read... At least I think... :

Why do MOST people want to give CIS units to the ZC? Just because ZC has Droidekas MkII and Buzz Droids? Or do people mistake the spell of C. I. S. with Z A N N C O N S O R T I U M?! ¬¬' The 'sky unit' is very easy to code... Just copy the Snowspeeder code and change somethings, like the model, scale, text entries, icon, health, sounds and obviously, the name of the unit.
