  1. http://galactic-voyage.com/images/SW%20Ships/strike%20cruiser.jpg Here is a better picture, I do think it has that star wars look that many non movie canon ships lack.
  2. Any other game yes, but petroglyph seems to be throwing many curve balls
  3. It would fit into continuity much more than the broadside crusier. And it has been in other star wars games, fits the timeline, been in EU, I think it has a fair of shot as any.
  4. As far as I know it is just in Star Wars games such as the flight simulator games and rebellion, I wouldn't be surprised if it has shown up in books and comics tho. EDIT: ok it has.
  5. Delphi said that usually ships will automatically go around asteriod fields, but if you want to get somewhere quickly you can go right through them, but your ships will take damage.
  6. hmm, that sounds cool.
  7. Hmm, does seem like nebula will add to galactic strategy, which is always a plus. I wonder which star systems will have them tho. I also wonder if the Maw will be an area.
  8. Red Wings are 11-1. Our only lose came from playing games back to back, and to Vancouver (a pretty good team). I think the Wings have more depth then the senators, to bad we wouldn't get to play until the cup finals (I think). ah well, I think it is pretty clear tho who are the best teams in both the east and the west.
  9. cool, I have always liked the strike crusier, hope it is in.
  10. no sir, I don't like it.
  11. If there is bacta in the game, it would be on both sides, it wasn't strictly rebel technology.
  12. you sure? this says they were comparable to an at-pt and could be carried in sentinels. http://www.galacticempiredatabank.com/XR-85TankDroid.html EDIT: ok there are 2 versions. one the size of an AT-PT, one much bigger.
  13. Yea I hope it is moddable, or even just able to remove it if you want to. No use having it if your computer can handle any number of ships and troops.
  14. Isn't that tank droid scaled a bit to big?
  15. Eh, you usually don't want to start a game being to defensive, it allows you to be back into a corner very early into the game. Also while you are building defense the offensive player is jumping from neutral system to neutral system, capturing it and gaining their resources.
  16. Yea agreed, it is pretty sad if you get upset over squad size and I am a fanboy. They probably have a good reason for it too.
  17. Yea, I hope we don't have one, I don't see why we would need one tho, these space areas sound huge from what we have heard and from the pics the land areas don't seem tiny. doesn't matter if they do tho, there will definitely be a mod to take it out, and wouldn't be surprised if they had an option for it to be on in off right in the game.
  18. I don't think I have heard anything about nebulas being ingame, just asteroids fields. I don't know about you, but nebulas don't come off as the most star warsy thing anyway.
  19. I'm still dying for some more info, what I really want tho is more screenshots and maybe movies, it has been forever since we got official screentshots.
  20. no, I don't think Dephi has posted on the LEC, think just here. Yea and we are way overdue for some new, present state of the game, previews.
  21. But not a very good one: http://www.pcgameworld.com/previews/gamepreview.php/id/88/ It looks like they just took information from every other preview. It does say there will be 80 planetary systems, but then it says and we know for a fact that, that is not true. And I believe that not a single preview mentions that the game ends at A New Hope, no wonder we were mislead.

  23. I was just thinking, Delphi said that LA gave them the info about what is in the timeline but whats not. Then I remembered that Star wars galaxy had a similar timeline situation, but they managed to bend the rules and have the a-wing, b-wings, and interceptors. I wonder if this is where LA came up with that the a-wing is in this timeline, could also mean that the b-wing and interceptor could be in, since lucasarts has allowed them is the timeline in other games.
  24. \ Yea, it doesn't make much sense.
  25. Which do you prefer? I am a strategy player that would much prefer to build lots of cheap ships, weapons, and troops over building the more heavily powered things, esspecially early in a game. Some consider this poor strategy, but I think it is one of the best strategies you can do. It allows to quickly swarm the enemy early in the game (esspecially if they are a specialist player who focuses on "Quality" and helps you build a foot hole. Once you have taking over some "territories" and have them well defended and start bringing in the resources you can now afford to start bringing in a stray heavy weapon every now and then. I wouldn't get to greedy doing it tho, I would keep building masses of cheap weapons, till you have the other player against the wall, then you can build all the heavy weapons you want and pull a hammer down on them. I am interested to see how multiplayer will work out. Be interesting to see if one player on a team is a quanity player while the other is quality. Highly effective tandum or doomed for failure?
