Yea don't see where the Jedi Starfighter would fit in. Only way I could see it being in would be for them to make up a hero "who just happened to come across one and made it his own" which I think would be very lame. and do you think the Imps would hold on to any ARC 170's?

Hmm I was going to make a thread about this today. I would hope that if they made and expansion they wouldn't have it start at ESB. I want to play from a few years before ANH all the way till ROTJ. That way you would get all the heros and ships and planets (Tarkin, Alderaan, Acclamators) I don't want anything to be excluded. So yea just an add on to the game, no new time period, I want to play as the game should have been played.

Know what would be interesting to do in a KOTOR mod would be that to use the Star Forge you would need to control Dantooine, Tatooine, Kashyyk, Korriban, and Maanan in order to be able to control the Rakata world. Think of the stalemates!

Yea, I would hate to make a star wars game, no matter what you do, some one will find an inconsistency Would be horrible, at any Q&A some one WILL mention something you did wrong. And am I the only one that thinks that one of the only reasons they have it at the ANH timeline is so they don't have to worry about balancing the SSD, but include everything else it? I know I am sure there is more to it, but that is what it is seeming like.

Wait till the DVD commentary, they are bound to mention it as either the DS or not the DS.

eh, I just don't think Lucas would think that much into it, to mean that it was not actually the death star, but a prototype to be used towards research of the actual ANH Death star. Lucas usually makes those thing blantently obvious. Otherwise with him the most simpliest answer is usually the correct one and that one would be that is the actually DS1.

Yea I also guess there is a book coming out that goes through the history of the death stars, it is suppose to tie up all the loose ends of continuity. That way we would get an official source on these things instead of just speculations.

True, but the star wars stuff on there is usually the generally accepted stuff, or there would be an outrage and it would be edited. also: Hmm there is also a debate on there about the DS II, it says some consider it to be the same size as th DS I while others consider it to 900km. I have always heard that it was bigger than the DS I....

Yea, It was in the original screenplay and I believe it is still in the AOTC novel . I was dissapointed when it wasn't one of the deleted scenes of AOTC.

I'm waiting for the ultra super special supreme edition that will probably come out in a couple years with special editions of all 6. I want new scenes in all of them: I want better scenes in TPM I want the scene in AOTC where yoda tell Padme she is force sensitive. I want the scenes in ROTJ with Shaak Ti's death and the formation of the rebellion. I want the scene in ANH with the senate being disolved. I want the scene in ESB where the wampas go on a storm trooper killing spree. and I want more to the celebration scene in ROTJ also any scenes that connect the two trilogies together better (thats why I liked the DVD special editions)

Yea thats what it sounded like, you started a couple years before ANH but from there it became dynamic and you created your own events. There was no longer any movie boundaries and you went through the tech tree all the way to ROTJ (and maybe slightly beyound). The game ended when one side conquered the other. I think that is what most people thought. like i said slightly disapointing.

Yea it comes off to me as EPI and EPII are just prologues for EPIII. If I had a choice I would have made the Clone Wars a movie and not AOTC. The Clone Wars had more importance to the overal story than did AOTC (where you could just take the important parts out and put it in the "clone wars movie"). The clone wars had a better story, and it wasn't really even structured as one. The relationship between Obi-wan and Anakin was expressed much better than in AOTC. (heck in ROTS and AOTC they are hardly even together to express friendship and some tension). The relationship between Padme and Anakin was expressed better (probably because they were together less) it was very cut how she kept his padawan hair tail, and how they had there sweet goodbye with her at the window and him leaving in his jedi starfighter. Also it had much better symbolism in it than did the AOTC. One of my favorite scenes in the clone wars was when anakin was in the cave and he had his premonition about saving the galaxy, only to be consumed by the darkside, and ultimately killing padme with the galaxy falling into darkness and him becoming Darth Vader. Also Yoda's vision about qui-gon taking young anakin to the dark side tree was nice as well. I think if the clone wars was epII I think it would have made ROTS even better. It would have built a lot of its back story and would have made characters more interesting, like general grevious.

Yea, I imagine this will help build a nice community here. It will probably bring more people and give us more of a purpose for being here (instead of just throwing around ideas and guessing we actually have dev feedback). reminds me on how the forum I mainly post at came about. Before SWG came out they had a pretty busy forum, mainly because the Devs posted there to update. Eventually a community forumed and we spilt off and made the GAT City forums (in honor of SWG's General Any Topic forum). Years later, after SWG has ultimately failed, our forum is no longer about SWG, but it is still thriving. anyway, I'm thinking it is possible for this forum to turn out like that (since petroglyph doesn't have an official one). Let's just hope EAW has a better future (and better group running it) than SWG.

Really have to apperciate when you take time out to come visit a forum. Even though the information you have told us is for the main part dissapointing, it seems for the most part it just changed expections (though maybe slightly lowered). Anyway I liked how you didn't run off when the swarm turned against you I hope that you can come back and maybe answer some of our other questions (which hopefully will have positive reactions...IE things being in the game instead of things not being in) Thanks again Delphi.

I have a bad feeling that "more fun" means balancing. Meaning potentially really cool ideas like "vehicle theft" could have been replaced.
