Oh yea, damn, thats what has been getting me lately. I have the Geforce 4400. Sucks that that could be the only thing that could keep me from playing this game on my computer
We don't think it is a production facility, think of it like a car. Your car comes with tires, but when your tires are bad you need to buy new ones. The car doesn't produce new tires for you.
I highly highly doubt that. I think it means that when you buy an SD the price of ties is included in it. Where as the rebels have to pay more for their replacement fleets.
hope to translate this right, but rancors are on dathomir not on tatooine. On Dathomir there are the Nightsisters and some other kind of witches, too. Both use the Force. Could it be that they appear on the planet? Hate to keep hijacking this thread but, it was meant as a little joke, Early on at one of the devs said "here is a rancor, a creature indigenous to Tatooine". While most star wars fans know rancors are from Dathomir. Now we hope this was only a mistake and that they were just showing a rancor there to show that creatures can affect your gameplay.
Think of the strategy, there is a krayt in the area, so you send a small group in to tick it off and then run towards the large rebel outpost and watch the madness!
Yea, but I don't think they will really affect your gameplay, just target practice. (banthas are also in a pic). I am talking about Krayt Dragons, Grauls, Goraxs, Kimogilas, space slugs, and mynoks.
The music has the abilty to add so much to a star wars game, can add a lot of emotion and really pull you into the game. The imperial march playing while you are destorying all rebels in your path. The force theme playing while luke discovers his role in the Rebel alliance. Across the stars playing while you are blown a crushing defeat and must try and retreat from battle.
Hmm I have heard of there being portable graphics cards, that work a lower efficency then the ones that are built in. If they aren't real, they really should make them. Yea I know laptops aren't for hard core gaming, but I pretty much need one for college, and I got one that was suppose to work well for gaming (and the rest of will still play pretty much any game out except for my grapic card). And since I play mostly strategy I wasn't expecting those kinds of games to outdate my graphics card so fast...I thought I could play the best ones for aleast a couple years *sigh* If worst comes to worst I will just have to update my desktop at home and only play EAW on some weekends.
Wish I could find one of those external graphic cards for laptops, have been unable to find one tho. It seems like since this summer all the new games no longer use my graphics card and this has me worried for EAW. Esspecially since I can't update my laptop internally.
Good question, I have pondered that before, just haven't asked it. It seems logical and not at the same time, will be interesting to see how they deal with it.
If my laptop will be able to play it, it will be just barely. Everything else on it will definitely be able to play it, it is the 3d card I am iffy on.
