Hmmm, lots of room there to mess with continuity. Anyone feel cheated out of seeing the Clone Wars? I know I didn't envision the money-grubbing, hollywood mold crap that we got shovelled when Obiwan was telling luke about his father being a jedi knight fighting in the clone wars in ANH. Arg..... /rant protection engaged shutting response dowwwwwwwnnnnn... That is why Lucas is coming out with a half hour TV show series all in CGI called the Clone Wars. That way he can milk more out of us fans! (along with the Live action one that looks to be about Boba Fett)

Yea but those ships for the most part don't have a large role in the Empire. I could still see the LAAT or an upgraded version as having a large role in the empire still. I can see them stealing some old ones from the clone wars, but if there was an upgraded version, which I'm sure there would be, it would be a little more powerful and in the empire's hands. I can also see the rebels having republic v-wings and ARC-170, but that is because the empire had more efficient ships to put in their place, the empire doesn't have that with the LAAT. They have the Sentinel for troop transport, but the LAAT is much more versatile.

Probably not, since there wouldn't be to many jedi left to fly them, but the v-wing and ARC still have a fair shot.

Oh yea, I'm sure they meant venator, he mentioned it as EPIII content and the ACC wasn't in epIII.

I hope to make a museum, there answer to that one question about upgrades never really sounded clear, so I still have hope. If not that will be the first mod I get. Will probably be in the reality mod.

Yea I would like a game where cap ships are controlable as well. Has always been my dream to be on the bridge of a star destroyer and watch the battle unfold, and if things got bad I would jump on to one of its turrents and shoot down some wings. This probably wont happen any time soon, but I can see it happening in the distant future, once the cap for online games has risen, since a game like this would need lots of player playing at once.

Is this you "annoucing" it then? Or is more a long the lines of free downloads...? or a combination of both! doubt you can answer any of this at this time, but just throwing it out there to discuss.

Yea there really is no excuse for adding more than a handful of new creations. Esspecially because the star wars universe is so large and has everything you could ever need may take some searching, but you will find it.

I doubt we have seen everything yet (at least I hope not), there are still big things I don't think they have shown us yet (Like the Venator)

Yea i know, it is more lucasarts than anything, they don't provide the accurate information like they should. lucasarts is notorious for bending (but more like breaking) continuity.

Short answer: They need someone working on the game that knows Star Wars better.

Yea, but rouge squadron wasn't really a flight simulator. It was and it wasn't, it was more along the lines of a flying FPS.

I would hope not, there will already be a lot of clone wars vehicles, it would literally be going backwards. If they have an expansion it should add to the current game not create a new one. If they do a clone wars version I imagine it would be an EAW 2: the clone wars.

Yea, I am a bit dissapointed, more of because of the Timeline rather than the SSD. I think it is a bit restrictive, how restrictive we have yet to see, but at least some (and I am a EAW fanboi). I know we will have Mods to fix most of it, but I hate to reply on mods for everything.
