ah i c, but yea garage bands could fall under a lot of categories, punk, metal, emo, grunge, ska. All of them could be "garage bands". I hate discussing music philospy tho, because no matter how you say it some ones opinion differs. Almost as bad as discussing Star Wars.

You would need start out as Bail Organa and Mon Mothma. After so much time you would be able to recruit leia and after that Luke. The imperials wouldn't change much, Darth Vader, Palpatine and Tarkin, would still be similar enough.

No, emo is much worse then punk. but after grudge, there was actual "real" punk. Now yes, there is pop punk, but it is still not quite pop and not quite rock, and not quite "real" punk. Garage bands in reality are 90% bad. There are reasons they play in garages and small venues. Most their fan base are people who don't want anyone else to like their kind of music so that they can be different. (same went for emo, but now it has become pretty mainstream).

Its true, there are no "official lengths" Lucas and his crew never came up with the exact lengths, it is just people working with licensing make stuff up. The lengths often change, look at the SSD. There are lengths that make sense and those that don't. The ones that knew this knew the SSDs length since the debates started.

Most be a euro thing, because grunge died out to punk well over a decade ago.

The database length is a generalization, it doesn't specify what cruiser it is talking about, anyone could tell you Home one is larger than the rest of the mon cals (even the people who say it smaller than 3000m) Any way I search Home Ones length it shows up as 3000m-3800m.

Expansions? Not saying they are money grubbers......well actually I am (but not to be taken negatively), but it is a business, LECs and Petros job is to make money and when a possibility arises that that they can make almost the same amount without some content then make an expansion later with that content they are going to go with that.

Same, I don't trust too many game mag or site reviews, to many favors and paying off to be truthful. I trust word of mouth or word of forum.

I would like to see them do something similar that BFII did with 1up.com with the wicket the ewok blog. That informed me and got me more hyped for BF II more than anything.

Yep, it wasn't but once the republic became the empire, the empire switched from heavy duty fighters to simple. Just look at the difference between Vaders ETA to his Tie fighter, a big difference in technology. I imagine the empire would have did away with the ARC and a few ended up in Rebel hands.

As much as I like to see clone wars units the problem is that all the canon is not yet written for them. We don't know if the Rebels get the ARCs or if the imperials hold on to them. We also don't know if the imperials annex the speratist ships or if the rebels fix them up from scrap yards.

the bar is kind of a general forum for anything there isn't already a forum for. there is a gaming forums so the bar shouldn't have gaming threads, there is a star wars forum so there shouldn't be star wars threads in the bar, and there is a EAW forums so EAW threads shouldn't be in the bar. If I go into the bar I usually am not looking for a thread on EAW, I would be more inclined to look for threads on politics, music, TV...things like that. Edit: infact the discription for the forum itself says "to talk about anything unrelated to the game"

I wouldn't mind them delaying till mid summer, to add the stuff in to go up to the ROTJ timeline. I don't think it would take all the way till fall to do it. Then again I wouldn't mind them releasing the game in feb, and coming out with an expansion that extends the game to ROTJ (notice I say extend, meaning starting at the same point, not starting at say ESB) in the fall

Maybe this should be left in the discussion forum, maybe Delphi would be able to give us some info on upcoming previews and such. I highly doubt he scans the bar.

A simple Friday Feature would probably be easier. All they would need to do is every friday have something about a certain feature in game, or post some screenshots, or maybe once in awhile a movie.

Yep I agree, they aren't doing a very good job of getting info out about the game. Like you said we got most are info about this game from Delphi, the casual person following this game still thinks the timeline goes to ROTJ, because that is the directions the previews take us. The latest preview of the game was info we already knew from the beginning and the actual new info in it was false. We have 3 months left to go you would think they would start hyping it up more since BF 2 has already been released.

True but that wouldn't be petros dealings, it would have to be LEC.
