Revolution. It is really the only system that is trying anything new, the others are pretty much a bit better graphics and a shiny new box. Oh am I forgetting the shiny new price tags as well? Revolution is bound to be cheapest. The others I am waiting to see what they have in store and the price to drop.

Wait, so the rebel's can capture the star destoryer facilites and build SSDs? not sure if I like that. I would like to see it by realistic since it is the realism mod. Like I stated in the other thread, the geonosians would probably only build for the rebel's the the empire caused their downfall.

Yea, the clone wars cartoon showed them being deployed from space too, but the immediatley go into the atmosphere. I'm sure BF2 will solidify it as a spacecraft tho.

I didn't buy it, I got it as a gift, so I dob't need to rationalize anything I would have bought it eventually anyway. Its a fun Star Wars game, just what I was looking for while waiting for EAW, plus I figured I would get a little more use out of my PS2 before it becomes obsolete.

Yea but they weren't bad enough to ruin a game, just not as high as some games have been recently. Yea, they pushed the date back, but will it be enough? just from the slow info leak we know the game isn't what we first thought it was going to be. I'm sure it will be great, just hope they don't cut to many corners.

Its not that bad, much better than the original, graphics aren't great, but doesn't matter still pretty fun to play, it has kept my interest longer than most games. LEC said about a month ago that from now on it will only produce about 2 games a year from now on so that they can focus just on them and make better quality games. Let's hope EAW is one of these.

But now the only thing they need to concentrate on with BF2 is just advertising, there is no new info to release. With EAW they need to do advertising and more info to be released and plus they have their own advertising department, meaning their PR people are just setting on their asses pretty much.

You probably wont be able to watch from the bridge in the original release, but I could definitely see them do it in a future expansion. They seem all about improving cinematics in the game.

Yea I have been saying that for awhile, friday features are nice. They always hyped the community up in SWG. Profiles of units and heroes would be nice, but if you are pressed for time the feature could always be a couple screenshots, something is better than nothing.

I think it has everything to do with lack of information. At this point everything that can be discussed has been discussed, now it is just new people coming and talking about the same thing but lower quality. The information trickle for this game is miserable compared to what I am use to even for an LEC game. On top of that, the info we do get is sometimes wrong and misleading. and I would have to go with both the 2nd and 3rd option. More info should be on the official boards but at the same time we need more info in general.

There is a difference between necroposting and reviving. necroposting is usually in a negative context, bringing threads back with just simple "bumps" or "i agree" posts. Those shouldn't happen. Reviving is usually in a positive context. "man you reallt revived that one". and I don't think we will have to worry with old treads drowning out new ones, the only reason threads were being revived is because we don't have any new ones. If we did then I don't think we would have any problem with this and if there were old ones and wuld only be occasional and probably for the best. He did have some adding to topics, but I think he just wanted to participate, he was clearly reading through all our old treads. I think the problem here is not making thought out topics, not reviving old threads.

Will we be able to download individual models to add to the game, say if we just want to add the tie incept and b-wing, or will we have to download the whole mod?

Fosh is alrite, no offense to jug, but he seems like kind of a control freak. but then what is the point of keeping old treads and not deleting them? The whole point is to keep them around so that they can be revived.

That is just nazi moderating in my opinion. I don't see what is wrong with that, especially for those new to the community, why can't they have their say on a topic they weren't here to discuss? And at this moment we don't have exactly a lot to talk about, so why not revive some old threads. I would rather have that than a bunch of new ones on the same subject. I have thought about posting a new topic before, but looked it up first, found some sometimes and put my input on the subject there.

Hoth exists as a place prior to the events of ESB, you know. And the game doesn't end specifically at ANH, they only use the battle against the DS as one of many possible endings. (I wish people would actually understand the difference by now). We don't know that for sure, they really haven't said how open ended the game is and they haven't yet said what victory condtions are, there might not be many possibile ending, maybe just a handful. and yea hoth existed, but when you think of Hoth, you don't think ANH, you think ESB, and seeing the cover makes me think of ESB very much. And since the SSD was in ESB and at Hoth I don't think this makes for very good marketing.

Notice it says vehicle theft, this could mean only land based vehicles, not spaceships. They did have that "power" when they confirmed vehicle stealing but said they aren't sure about spaceships yet.
