Wow, thats why i hated Hard Copy right there.. first off they spelt his name wrong (Trent Resnor is Trent Reznor).. then they go on to blow out of proportion his reaction to the FBI spending a year on a video they found attached to weather balloons.. and the whole art student segment too.. lol... is it not possible it was just your everyday college student.. um.. watching tv?! lol.. geez.. what jounalistic integrity!..

Meh... not really what i meant Tofu.. but a good point none the less.. what i really was concentrating on is that she is 21 and hes 34... and.. ITS BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN!! hes such a chump/choad/douche (the ultra combination!!).. its not disgusting.. just upsetting.. i hate it when perfectly hot chicks date men wayyy older than them.. it really pissed me off in high school when the girl i was interested in (16) was dating a 26 year old!.. then in college a girl i was interested in (22) was dating a 38 year old.. so its like.. wheres my hot chick now huh?.. gosh.. i thought it was a right of passage.. just kidding on that.. but seriously it just irks me.. my girlfriend is hot dont get me wrong.. and she is 5 years younger than me... oh.. wait.. i guess i got my young hotty then.. nevermind.. oops

sadly the norm here in Texas is those damn lifted trucks.. i hate them.. and of course a good number of the people driving them around are hormone raging high schoolers who dont know how to drive.. the rest are over compensating immature adults... but.. i always feel a bit threatened in my small car when I'm next to or in front of these guys.. i dont drive a truck so they could easy roll over me in an accident.. i really think they should all be made illegal really.. cuz.. if a tire were to bash in my skull in a minor fender bender.. id be pretty pissed... in a coma.. but pissed..

ahhh ok Krytos, yea.. i agree in that regard.. John Turturro usually is a good actor and that role was just stupid.. and that "alien grumbling" of the radio was a bit stupid... and Rob, i thought the same thing! i was like.. "ewww, they're gonna do it on BumbleBee!! wait.. did he ask for them to?.. oh gross." and what shocks me a bit is that Megan Fox, the hotty in the movie, is engaged to BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN!!!! dude is 13 years her major.. i mean.. come on.. leave that chump and date someone closer to your age.... geez

uber, i think if any of us used any of these pick up lines, i think one of several things could happen.. or a couple of things.. 1. we would get looks of confusion.. ("whats a taw-shee" she might say.. lol) 2. We would get slapped... or worse.. ("How bout my knee in your power converters!") 3. We would get laughed at for "being a nerd" despite that she knew what we meant, and she is wearing a shirt that says "I (heart) nerds". 4. We would be told that the only action our wookie is going to see is Rosy Palm and her five sisters... or... and as we are all hoping 5. she would come back with "I'll be your Slave Outfit Leia any day." (i just had to work that in after my old man rant.. lol)

I FINALLY saw Transformers last night! I found it to be pretty good actually. I know Krytos and Tofu both were kind of "turned off" by the humor in the movie, but I found it to be quite nice... anyway.. the movie all around was half bad and i think the action was pretty cool... I just think once everything got started... it all wrapped up a little too quick... and they should've "zoomed out" a little bit more for the robot fights.. just me though..

I'm hopefully going to go see Transformers tonight... but it all depends on my energy level... work has been so jam packed full of stress and tasks that I "have to get done!".. that I'm drained by the end of the day.

So ok, kinda carrying on from my movie theater post... and i'm not trying to be offensive here.. im really curious... what is the appeal of the Harry Potter books? I don't get it. I mean I find them to be children's books.. why does everyone like them so much? As I said in the movie thread, I understand the appeal of the movie.. but not the book. With a movie its nice to have your mind numbed (so to speak) and just relax and take in a cool movie with nice action scenes or fantastical creatures etc... but a book that you have to concentrate and sit down and take your time to read word by word.... just seems to me can be spent better on more interesting books... i know its me.. and my stupid opinion.. so.. why am I wrong?... anyone?

Thats one movie I'm actually making a point not to see... I just never got into the whole Harry Potter thing.. as a movie I can see its appeal to the older audiences.. but as a book I don't get it... so.. Off to the book thread!

on another note.. i was a little disappointed to see that Angkor Wat and Stonehenge didn't make it.... I wonder how many people cared enough to vote?... that would be interesting stats if they provided them.. how many voted and how many votes for each were received...
