This is exactly what I was on about, and the mixture of my complete lack of knowledge concerning these file types, anything vaguely similar, and a combination of both when I did a web search sort of didn't get me very far... Any of you guys know how to translate it? No more natural disasters anyone? EDIT: Once we know where the command is for when the computor checks for a natural disaster, we can alter it say to every 10,000 days, and err... lower the new resources found to every hundred days, for example...

Tested to exhaustion dude, and you never get to hear Leia say the walking carpet or some rescue lines, and I mean tested to exhaustion a year or two ago... Edit: I can't spel.

This does appear in the game as an egg. If you have farmer Luke on Tattooine and you assign him to a mission he will say that line. On a broader scale, the frustrating element of the game is just how much stuff there is left in the game-files you never get to see/hear, that could have been included with a patch if Lucas Arts had desided to support the game.

With the gift of dial-up frustration, I have managed at last to figure myself on the swrebellion map, but undoubtably in the wrong place. Also, according to my icon, I am a 'brother.' Can't click first enough.

Seriously, i've been putting in a few more hours for the Zoological Society here in London, given it's a good excuse to go round the actual Zoo free of charge and take pictures of fluffy animals for my diabolical schemes... Right, I reckon the programing for stuff like the natural disaster in the game is in the GDATA folder on the game's disk, not what is installed on the HD. I say this with complete inexperiance of programing experiance/knowledge, but just by being curious as to some of the GDATA folder names; they seem to be tab close to game structures Resource Hacker doesn't seem to find. They are .dat files, and that is where my internet searching sadly ended. Any of you lot know how to read and translate a .dat file? One of these files might be the solution to the most hated aspect of the game.

2. You haven't followed the mod's instructions; review you loading path.... 3. Exceptionally wierd D16, you should not be having any problems viewing the mod's Nova class Star Destroyer in RebEd at least, as you said it is simply a resized/renamed Star Destroyer; and nothing to do with the Allegiance Destroyernew model , which has always been wonderfully borked. I've actually gone a step further and moved it around a little, where it now occupies the original ISD II slot, where it's working fine! Spins with new size in RebED!

Well, I don't know about you lot, but if I stumble into a couple of million, besides rebuilding an authentic Stonehenge as it actually was at it's original glory, and a few other things like those Buddhist statues the Taliban blew up,* I think paying for all the crew around here for a vacation somewhere remote in the Pacific would be fun and original for a week or so. Given I doubt it's been done before or that much, we could probably take a descent TV camera with us and sell what bits we want to a documentary channel, and either share the royalties, hire someone to get the source code for the game, and give the rest to E and stratus to secure the hosting stuff into the 22nd centuary, when i'm sure our grand children will still be moaning about the source code for the Rebellion XVI game... *Somewhere where there aren't any lunitic muslims, like... err...
