Star Destroyers, as you can see, are big.

  3. Which one ended up living in a hut in a swamp, and which one ruling the galactic empire? The Sith triamphed against overwelming odds of similar force skill; figure: Palpatine plus one at one point against an entire order. The Dark Side's demise at the hands of itself ultimately in RoftJ demonstrates it's ultimate weakness.

  5. August is always quiet dude!
  6. Forgot if I mentioned this about Portsmouth, but it's got Nelson's flagship, HMS Victory and King Henry VIII's flagship, the Mary Rose. Whilst the Mary Rose is sort of spread by water and a rotting hulk in a warehouse, apparently you can walk around the Victory. Also, there's the Royal Maritime Museum in Grteenwich in London.
  7. I'll say but this about football, you have not really experianced the roar, the passion, the involvement unless you've been at least to a live game exchanged banter with opposing fans. I guess it's the same with other sports. Footy is the one for me. This is what I can't get to grips with cricket; because it's such a drawn out affair, the boredom threshold has been utterly exhausted even to kindle any traces of that rush when a wicket is taken or someone is boweled out or caught.

  11. Umm, elephant tranquilizers? I was being sarcastic. It's a very ssssllllloooowwwww game and lasts a whole day at the shortist. My fascination with watching other people playing a sport is tested if extra time is played in a football match.
  12. Almost.. I'll now brilliantly expand: You have the 'crease' the area between the two sets of wickets inwhich the two batsman run to score runs if they haven't hit a four (over the boundary) or a six (in the air over the boundary). You have wicket keepers behind the current batsman (in bowels of six), and a few in-fielders arranged by the bowler dependant on how he's going to bowl. In essence it's almost like like Baseball but with the addition of elephant tranquilizers, and a couple of days. The currant ashes series between England and Australia has been going on now for a week or two, and is widely acclaimed as the most exciting in living memory. I'm wondering why.

  14. In all honesty I would advise against London if it's only a flying stop on a whirl wind tour. Buckingham Palace, the House of Commons, Trafalgar Square aren't that much differant to what you see on TV or in the newspapers, and the rest of 'Swinging central London,' is essentially a gigantic hub of shops, where you get to buy stuff you can easily get back home or on the internet. However, having just said that, there are the places or real interest; the British Museum (where I met Lord_La_Forge's brother not so long ago), the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Tate Modern, and I have to add, London Zoo, where I can be found every Monday lurking with the monkeys. For historical shops, all the best antiquarian type bookshops are around the BM. I've not heared of the Blunderbus Antiques personally, but am at liberty to do you a little research on Neutical type shops if you wish. Avoid Camden Lock. It's only trendy these days with tourists who think music is cool and should govern their lives, and subsequently get ripped off whenever they open their wallets. In a simular vein, avoid Notting Hill. Contrary to popular belief, you won't bump into Hugh Grant, only lots of exceedingly wealthy people drinking overpriced coffee at a Starbucks... Out of London, Bath is indeed worth a visit. It's beautiful and I believe they have re-opened the Roman Baths, though I may be wrong. Portsmouth is the traditional home of the the Royal Navy and has a few atteractions; but is ultimately a dump, and full of drunk violent people after dark. So avoid. Scotland: Go there. It is as Mad said beutiful. Visit it's capital, visit the highlands, but beware of the midges! I think most of the British Navy's Nuclear Submarines are based in Inverness, but you'll probably get mistaken for a Islamic radical and shot if you attempt to get to close. Out of many places I would suggest you visit, Glastonbury is the one I would suggest. It was the last haven for the ancient Druids in Europe before the Romans wiped them out and is not just steeped in pre-Christian tradition, but also has a rich Christian tradition including an abbey where some say King Arthur was buried.
  15. Both teams sometimes end up being swallowed by small dogs.... 'I seem to be having problems with my life!'
  16. First point, I have no intention of paying anything to Lucasarts, as if they would even entertain the idea. They had the opportunity to support the game, and as you at least know M dude from looking at the files with Resource Hacker, get an idea of how shoddy the realeased product was they still charged me at least about £30 for. Second point: If you announce your intention to it you immediately make yourself open to prosecution from the money grabbing scum at Lucasarts, who would seem to care more for preventing longevity in their titles than supporting actual genuine interest. Wierd isn't it.

    400!!

At the moment at least it's more of an accomplishment because you haven't spamed your way to four figures boring people senseless by bombarding the rest of us with what you like listening to music wise, as if it's interesting. Anyway, that said, I think some fluff is in order: http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0PwCVAq4SGkzhuJkWWWkuo2c6n2*wPx5qRhPigJgayAgUUxWlKg*Bg!jbQA5pJVMXTBq0GLy1tXSCFo8qu0qKiIG25p9jWMI3/Kev.gif His name's Kev.
  19. Cricket is a very strange game. I've spent may a long, long afternoon in deep outfield wondering what on earth i'm doing. From deep outfield you get a lot of time to do stuff like look at the clouds and ponder life's many mysteries, such as why beating a BBC company team is so important to a managing director who is virtually always bowled out for a duck. It's so slow, you can do things in the deep outfield like drink beer and smoke. I believe I became a Buddhist from my many experiances in the deep out field. Once I thought I was near Australia. Then there's the batting. It is a truely terrifying experiance, even in the face of a non-proffesional bowler. Cricket balls are very hard. I was always usually near to the back of the batting order on account of how crap I am at keeping my composure in the face of naked logic, hoping we would declare before I ever got to bat, though I once hit a four against the ITN news team for my former chauffeur company. Rules? Never quite worked them out. I hope this helps.
  20. This is an exceedingly sinister thread, discussing 'secrecy and what-shall-be hidden,' quite frankly it's given me the spooks; so i'm off to hide behind my left stereo speaker untill things cool down. I've hidden the cat behind the television. Hopefully he will remain utterly motionless....
  21. Jahled bows to Trej...wondering how he can insert a feline to the sprawl...
  22. If people did that to me, they just might find my fist going through their teeth. I've badly hurt people for less. One man's prank is another's humiliation, and is not acceptable. Some quiet people to whome such pranks are pulled can flip out and deliver great amounts of unexpected pain, and quite rightly. Best to find humor with your brain.
  23. Simple bits of blue comming out of this in random directions... perhaps... EDIT: oh.. this made me laugh lots when I stumbled across it on teh web: http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0RADrAp0UVc!06X8s9BMoPOpELUqOxENGevLtaUzrJLxaPJBmn7ueii6jyjazqGoPlJdyehvNXx4evZQqK6mrk4ph89aETIMrkBGLI2TK8gQ/mrjihad.jpg
  24. Best of luck Igor! Get the most out of college; life's a bit crap without a proper education.
  25. Forget all this talk of approaching lucasarts; it never has and never will get anywhere. They are more interested in milking us for every cent they can from every commercial medium they can, such as bendy bits of plastic from thirty costume changes. A simpler option: Someone reverse engine the game in the 'shadows and secrecy,' of their own home, and let someone like me know when they've got it. Wheels can then be set in motion to get this beast of a game in full swing...
