  1. ...emmm... are you sure you're the 'clean living guy' you've led us to believe you are, SOCL
  2. Given he is on his gap year, and going to law school in September, my guess is he's doing what any sane dude his age would do, and is somewhere extremely hot and sunny....
  3. Ok guys I know i'm slow, but I only just got wind of this entire thread just now through a PM by Mask. I'm up for helping out, being a Middle-Class English twit and can sound like that Imperial bloke in the game's tactical battle. I'll contact Mask privately and see what spec he wants.
  4. ...errr...please do! I was secretly hoping one of you modeller's would turn their attention to the Interdictor, the model in Rebellion is crap, and if you were indeed thinking of the Dominator (the card is one of the best ship one's i've seen....eviljedi?) happy and merry I for one would be...
  5. That would be about right, DarkJedi
  6. Gosh...I can't resist it... SPAM WARS emm...well it looks like that redarded feline is about to make a claw and fang induced meal of that tin of Admir...*cough*...tin of spam....
  7. Good grief Mask, how cool are you! I've just spent the day seriously melting in a heatwave here in London, and I come home to woo yay hooo from yourself! Your d'man!
  8. It's...perfect! But hell, the rest of us should have had it ages ago Your other avatar was rather large.

  10. I think most of us have other experiences with Fosters... ...Nah! What you experiance with your Fosters is down to how much you've just drunk, my friend!
  11. Thanks Bill, but to get over the next hurdle, I/we need a communications portal other than the public ones on the main website; they're not getting us anywhere! Come on guys, any ideas?
  12. Check your email Dinochick!
  13. I'll give you an example of a problem I encountered through tweeking with RebEd. I enabled the Empire to be able to build ISD II from the onset. Game crashes! My advice to you is to leave the original 'what you can build seetings from the start alone, untill day two; save your game and then edit your settings. This way Rebellion wont get confused and crash.
  14. Hey SS, nothing personal, but how crappy can a nickname get? Doesn´t the Star Wars universe offer you enough bad examples? Reality has never made much sense to him!
  15. Holy hellfire cattle-prodded cat fish that was darn quick Double A! Well done my friend, you were almost as fast as Scathane! Anyway, have an OSCAR! Well done dude. BTW: Here's some early footage of you your folks passed to me in secret....training for Zoot?
  16. WOO! Wha, you guys have some unexploited talents here that could do this site (and your own lives) some serious credit! If this is 'having a laugh with your mates' type of thing, think what could be done if heads came together and co-ordinated such efforts? You should post these on b3ta.com!!!
  17. What can be said but lucidly brilliant, Trej! Impressed I am! Big time.
  18. Dinochick, I forgot to ask, but what were you doing 'driving around ' Teaching your skeletons to chase your enemies
  19. Please expand...
  20. Yet another automated reply....
  21. Well SOCL, this is my latest blast, much of the same thing with a new vein at the end I hope now somebody picks up on. What this precious Source-Code can do for us is basically outlined in an email Mask sent me when I asked him for questions to put at Lucas Arts. They are the questions in the message I sent, I have copied below: Sir/Madam, As a devoted player and modder of Lucas Art's excellent game, Star Wars Rebellion, there are a number of questions I would be grateful if you could answer a couple of questions. I need to know: -the complete structure of the savegames -if there can be more than 256 colours used everywhere in the game (pics/movies/textures) -if there could be new cinematics added and if they could be related to new events and to existing events (like a movie for the final battle event for example). -could we use another resolution for the game (640*480) and the movies ? -Also how to create new events with the old-fashioned pics. -what defines a major character ? For example, they cannot die. -if we can add new characters and units to the existing. -if we can give the HQs on Coruscant and Yavin new positions. Could we give the HQ-ability to another planet, so that the NR would start at Coruscant and the Empire at a renamed system, Wayland ? Of course the game's source code would nip all of this in the bud. Whilst I obviously respect the commercial interests of Lucas Arts, your status as one of the major game developers in the gamming industry, there are a few factors I would like to respectfully state for my brazen and very bold request for your product's info. The game is by all intensive purposes, commercially dead! Lucas Arts have not supported the title since you released it six or so years ago. Call me an old hippy, but given you guys have obviously completely abandoned your original product, it seems a shame to simply let it rot in cyber-oblivion. I am aware of a loads of stuff in the game files that didn't seem to make it to the final-released product; WAV files, DLL entries, even reference to the Millennium Falcon appearing in the tactical battle! Given I and my friends have been able to import new ship models, cards, and the odd program, and similar stuff; it would be a nonsense to not let us try and unleash the rest of what could have been with your title! There's obviously no commercial incentive; I and my friends simply want to enhance the enjoyment of one of your more under-rated titles for ourselves and our fellow gamers, given we seemed doomed to love it so much! The game engine seems to be completely unrelated to any other Lucas Arts title. Anything we would unearth programming wise wouldn't endanger any existing product or future product! Anyhows, we are you guys friends! We have fallen in love with one of your older games and simply want to breath some fresh life into it, given we are beginning to hit walls as far as enhancing playing possibilities go. We've got a whole community based about the game living and breathing with ideas and creativity. Please let us have a go! Finally, if it's a financial question after six years, please let me know at what score! I would also respectfully ask for a contact at Lucas Arts who I can ask for why my repeated requests for this information has been turned down; I am quite innocently curious as to why a six year old unsupported game is being held in your safe without any possibility of future development or support! Makes no sense! Surely it's a waste of all the money spent on the game's developers? Just to let it sit there doing nothing! Sincerely and respectfully, Jahled My email layout was slightly more presentable than what materialized 'pasted!' You get the drift SOCL?
  22. Half the time I think i'm speaking to myself anyway... Perhaps i'll drink lots of beer and go for a quick run.http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0QQDTAnQT0Xv*CfbwIxIUgtgW22OUR!nGkx9osJUu9MO6HEqmwG3GL*M7N!2cixAy08!R3rOXNs*HRVSJKg5d6RXzSZtrfN7P!LpHORKipiQ/Zoot0.gif?dc=4675429734029911645
  23. Wooo!!! Yay!! Cool to see you again! I trust you drove safely on your voyages and didn't try anything to rash... Welcome back to theCoolest Star Wars site on the net (appart from yours of course!) Now, post you must!!!!
  24. Obviously not! I guess my computer has become more shagged than I can possibly imagine
  25. Wierd thread development....but anyway; Stella and Red Stripe featured as my fav brews in my teens and twenties; but now i'm slipped into my 30s I like my lager a little less strong. Everyone says this, but it's true; the older you get the longer it takes for that hang-over to disapate the following day. I've had enough of feeling ghastly all day because I drank to much strong lager the evening before. So I usually drink Fosters, it tastes nice, especially when served seriously chilled, is week enough to knock back loads, and you don't feel like death the next day if you get carried away...
