  1. Yeah, really bad... Now that's an unrealistic issue. If you have a planet with two energy shield and your standard groundbased TIEs. Then come the Rebel annoyers and your TIEs go up to battle and die. It would be more realistic if you could choose to leave them on the planet, after all with two Generators they wouldn't be in any danger. Well.. At least that's an idea for Reb II... It could even apply for some smaller cap ships. Corvettes, MArauder Corvettes, Gunships, etc...
  2. Has the power of the Dark Side sunk so far to try to mimic Ewok faces in order to survive??? I must obey my Master... Who's your Master, oh great giant-ewok-minus-facial-hair-under-the-mask? Chief Chirpa, Wicket or some other Ewok?
  3. Hi Igor, haven't seen you for a while... Scath had been in touch with one of the guys that worked for Coolhand. Parts of the email exchange can be found in the IF you could ask the game developers... or somethign like that -thread in General Discussions.. I agree with Jahled, though. LEC could easily reply to out ResHack questions without giving away anything of the Source Code. [/i]
  4. The Interstellar Lawyer and the Astrophysicist in the Restaurant having a good time... Cheers, my friend!
  5. I shouldn't mention then, that I have an unrealesed Hutt Illustrated GIF... A pretty big one with many pics...
  6. My case is quite the contrary, I have too much free time, so I wind up doing lots of otehr stuff at the same time. Reading, drawing, helping at home, with my friends, etc...
  7. I, like Jahled, haven't played an unedited game for... years... I remember, though, that I played against the AI as the Rebs in expert. But that's too long ago... I remember sending Mon Mothma, Leia and Dodonna to diplomatic missions while keeping luke recruiting and Han inciting some uprising on Imperial worlds. The main disadvantage of the Rebels at the beginning is that they can't build strong ships from the beginning. They have to wait until the Mon Cal is ready for construction and a Mon Cal is at disadvantage against any Impstar. Han Solo's double speed bonus comes in handy when you learn that in Corellia there are a couple of nasty Star Destroyer that aren't moving and Han happens to be in Drall. You can send him to Corellia to try to sabotage the ships. He hardly fails at that. I can't remember much of my strategies with the original settings. When playing Rebs one must annoy the Empire during its first 100 - 150 days. Also keep always a backup base, a system, preferably one of the unexplored ones where you could send the headquarters if you get the feeling that the empire is on you.
  8. It's the first one, a vessel with a higher DCR repairs itself faster. It brings the engines higher online, then the hyperdrive, then shields, weapons, and tractors are the last. Outside a battle situation a ship with a higher DCR repairs itself faster, it is even faster when its in a system with shipyards. And of course it depends of the damage, if only its shields rating was reduced or if it suffered hull damage in battle.
  9. PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!
  10. And don't forget good olf Threepio to give you a language lesson for a few pair of centuries.
  11. You just did...
  12. Quoting someone from a galaxy far far away: "You edited that wreck? You're braver than I thought!" WOO YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. How can you do an innocent-ewok-baby-look under that mask, LordVader??? Ah, and we won't eat you for that comment.... We have other alternatives... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....
  14. Congrats, Elvis As for those annoying humans giving you a hard time... There are certain unconventional Yuuzhan Vong methods you could use...
  15. Everyone know Kermit the Frog...
  16. Yep, its a composed image of a Yuuzhan Vong torax, Nom Anor (another Vong)'s head and the left arm of Corran Horn.
  17. except for hyperdrive, the bigger the better. I think
  18. Abandoned missions? Interesting stuff you uncovered, Vad. Dagobah does appear when Luke goes to Dagobah and you look for him using the Personnel Finder. Hermitage, I suppose is linked to another string that says that Luke has been so deeply affected by the encounter with Vader that he has decided to contemplate and meditate. Don't know about the Sabbatical stuff, nor the Rebel Prison. I do think that we should report it, at least only to get a reaction from LEC.
  19. I'm still alive...
  20. Somewhere in a distant fast food restaurant on Nar Shadaa... A holographic waitress appears. "May I take you order?" "Yes, I want a Double-Warlordburger with extra cheese, and some Drall Fries." "What would you like to drink?" "Hmmm... A korriban deathjuice, if you have it..." "It's 29,99 Imperial Credits."
  21. That really is an interesting thought... It does explain some things... Like what?!?
  22. Now that's something special!!!!!!
  23. I didn't disable it and no prob.
  24. Odd. I use XP Home and NAV and haven't had any problems with SWR. No crashing, no nothing.
