  1. I was a bit disappointed as well, but it was a fun game. I'm still hoping for someone to make a Yuuzhan Vong mod to replace the Gungan with.... The AoE series, they are great, I remember when we (some friends, a teacher and I) would play it in school in the afternoon. BTW, have you played Age of Mythology, SOCL?
  2. Could the clothing be changed??... Somehow Rukh looks like the Hunchback from Notredame
  3. This insignia thing sounds a bit too much like the Costa Rican bureaucracy. "No sir, you need to go to the office next door and ask for an appointment." In the office next door: "Yes, it is here, but first you need the approval of the man in the office at the end of the aisle." In the office at the end of the aisle: "Yes, the problem is that he isn't in the land. You could still try to go see his assistant in the building on the other side of the city." TO BE CONTINUED....
  4. Yes, that is another of the many suggestions for Reb II. The existence of hyperoutes...
  5. He means that he's using crappy slow internet. Much like I am... Although it seems that DSL is coming to Costa Rica! [/i]
  6. The Force, his grandmother once told him, had its own ways. It would lay out the situations, but the Jedi would be the one taking the choice. Iulan smiled grimly at that memory. After days and weeks of traveling secretly through hyperspace. Sneaking past Imperial outposts, driving fear in the faceless soldiers of the Emperor, all had one purpose to complete the strange command for Iulan to go to the Yavin system. Now with the red gas planet watching silently the Yuuzhan Vong fleet, Iulan did not know what to do. He had expected a quasi-mythical Jedi miracle to materialize at his first sign in the system, nothing had happened. Day after day the wait had been prolonged. With each second of annoying wait questions popped-up. Why was he here in the first place? Because he had trusted Iulor to help him. Even his faithful Rjiuvan Shai was growing tired of the wait. The Warmaster's heart longed to lead his forces in battles. The wait was even more painful to him and his warriors. Iulan would not give up, there must be something in the system that would help him. Otherwise Iulor wouldn't have sent him there. In the very first days he had visited the ancient temples on the fourth moon. He had even visited the sirens on the eight moon, and had daringly taken his Defender into the Gas planet. Yavin was a mystery. "It has been a week, my Lord." Rjiuvan said, as if Iulan neede remainder. On an impulse, something the young man could not explain, he opened himself to the Force, letting it flow to him. But the Force limited itself not only to flowing, it penetrated deeply into every cell of his body. Iulan could feel the strength, the power, the insight. Then the darkness. And beyond.... He saw the galaxy as few ever saw it. He saw it not as a collection of matter. He saw the luminosity that existed in every individual. He saw light being born and light being shattered. He saw darkness, and he saw the strangling claw of the Yuuzhan Vong. He saw worlds he could not name, he saw cities, people, friends. Everything was vivid and fast. Then he saw Yavin. He saw everything as it was now. The void of the Yuuzhan Vong. He saw himself seeing everything. Then he saw the reason for everything. He understood at last why he was here in the first place.
  7. It's the Día de San Nicolas here in Costa Rica, but it's hardly celebrated at all. Gifts, etc. are given on Christmas... But I do remember those tasy chocolates I received when I was a kid in Germany...
  8. Welcome back, Scath! Nice to have all of our community back. But now down to business: Ladies and Gentlebeings. WELCOME TO BERCHEST Hutt Illustrated in association with the Berchest ministry of Tourism have decided to give its readers (yes, the ones that really appreciate the quality articles and editorial and even the crossword puzzle) the opporunity to win a trip to Berchest and 20000 Imperial Credits. Don't miss this chance!!! PS: The GIF is BIG! So be patient.
  9. It could've been worse. We could have had Kermit sitting in Dagobah training Luke... "Unlearn everything you must, but remember 'It ain't easy being green'"
  10. Sincerely, I doubt of anyone's grip on reality in these Forums... But you're right about this one, Scath
  11. There are very few who can oppose the BEAK Imperium©, so allmighty, plus it adds a more dramatic tone to it...
  12. He had, i have the finished GIF somewhere in my computer, but I was waiting until all were here... Now if Scath would reappear you'd have a pretty big Hutt Illustrated gif... Until then...
  13. No, I wouldn't be compassionate for little furry creatures, they'd be the first to be eliminated... And although I am a servant of the Dork Side, my name isn't John Cook, although there must be something about Dorksiders and their real names starting with J. John Cook, Scath, Jahled, Antilliles, I...
  14. Oh! I have been a very brave Veggie Vong this year. Yes, very brave. And nice. Do I get them on Nikolaustag instead of Christmas for being such a nice Vong?
  15. I was referring to the avatar, but I, sometimes, get the feelings it's at both of us.
  16. I can help with the text, also I made a couple of Noghri cards a while ago... There are few good images of Noghri out there and it seems as if the things have a personality crisis, every comic artist keepes drawing them differently. I'll write the text and send you the card and/or pics.
  17. OOC: interesting, you really took that serious about stealing it twice... have fun and make sure to leave some of my vong dreadnaughts behind.
  18. Odd, the last post that appears is from October... Anyway, where have you been, I haven't seen you around for a while now, not in the other threads at least...
  19. And I remember many of the reactions when I changed my avatar to the current one. I remember someone saying that he'd have nightmares with it.
  20. It, of course, means the RP. There hasn't been any new post in The Start for a month and a day. I know that Scath has been absent for a little over a month as well, and the Elvis is now busy. With wormie and Darky vanished, only SOCL and I remain. Is it dead then?
  21. My new edited stats? I started by giving some ships such as the Impstar to both sides, I lowered the cost of many Rebel Ships, but I also made them weaker. Super Star Destroyer are thrice more expensive (maintenance). I also brought new ships into the game such as the Marauder Corvette, and other smaller vessels. Plus some as the Allegiance or the Home One... I made fighters a lot more powerful so that 6 X-Wing Squadrons could scare a loaded Impstar away. Making thus, the fighter garrison more imporant. I increased detection rating to prevent the sabotage of ships in orbit and I increased the DCR. Made most of the ships faster in hyperspace. As for the Mon Cal, I think it is weaker than the Impstar, more so considering fighters. The six Impstar squadrons can destroy the Rebel Squadrons, and the weapon rating of the ISD is higher than the one from the Mon Cal. At least that's what I remember from the original settings, but I, as well, could be wrong, XeqtR. XeqtR =Executor???
  22. SOCL's comment might derive from the fact that SOCL is known to some members as the All-Mighty Imperator of BEAK, BEAK means Boring Explanations Annoying Korrections. Or also from the fact that your are Cadet Imperator... sounds funny... It's kind of a demotion. The off-topic thing refers to SOCL's own comment. On an Imperial Star Destroyer... Amidst the dozens of whitearmored stormtroopers a particular figure moved among the faceless corps of the Galactic Empire. "Your Highness, what in the name of the Sith are you doing among the cadets?" A sergeant asked. The Imperator of the Galactic Empire gave him an enigmatic smile. "I have decided to rise through the ranks of my military, sir." "Oh, Ok..." The sergeant walked away, obviously confused... Back to topic though, now that you mention the shipyards, a player should be able to destroy the orbital shipwards even with two planetary shields, after all the things are well outside the range of the shields. Although it could be funnier if you could have lots of heavy lifters just take the shipyards and hyper away. I think I'll post these thing in the Reb II ideas...
  23. You should change your signature, then, Lord Vader... "You don't know the power of the Dork Side. I must serve my Master, terrorize my troops and be gentle and compassionate to little furry creatures."
  24. As someone I know would say: WOOYAY None nice lookin... Still in Low Season... right?
  25. Not too mention that Jahled once had me jump from Haven down into an ostrich's thorat.... As mask says, you'll get used to it. Lord Chewie... I mean Lord Ewok... no? Lord Ewookiee....
