Welcome Darth Revan! Whenever you check the "Character is a known Jedi" check, remember to add something to their Jedi level. Depending on the Jedi level you might want to lower his other stats (diplomacy, combat, espionage) a bit, unless you want supermen that won't be as fun. Use VAder's original stats as a guide. Also any saved games you have won't show the changes. You will need to start a new game for the changes to show properly.

Star Wars: Rogue Squadron - The Television Series
Trejiuvanat replied to Texas_Fett's topic in General Discussion
Not too mention other operations that are covered in the comics. There is definetely enough source material for a series, there's even the Corran - Mirax love story, and enough no-Gungan humor, plus the Corran -Jedi thing. It could work, but we would have to freeze GL in carbonite while the show is made. -
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron - The Television Series
Trejiuvanat replied to Texas_Fett's topic in General Discussion
Ten years ago, it's have been great, even five years ago. Now we would get a Gungan as teh leader in Rogue Squadron. "Mesa thinks he has losten spatial stabilizator, mesa will repairen it with the tongue" Hm.... Perhaps we'll see it after all. Sometime after the release of ep III. And if Lucas doesn't use the EU, they can simply create a TV series, of a fightersquadron durign teh Clone Wars, or a group of Jedi during the SIth War. Jahled, I think the Rogues keep beating TIEs because they are an elite squadron and the TIEs are just the backwater garrison of Garqi. But of course sometimes the hero factor kicks in. In the games, TIEs aren't superior to Xwing, just a bit faster and more maneurable, but a quad burst would easily kill one TIE, while a TIE needs more shots to get rid of a Rogue. In Xwa I remember 48 vs 12 skirmishes, usually the X-Wings had only few losses, three or four craft, at most. -
What do you think about George Lucas?
Trejiuvanat replied to GeorgeLucasmustdie's topic in General Discussion
I, as well, agree with Texas Fett, and yes and no to your question Jahled, ESB was directed by someone else ( Irvin Kershner), and the screenplay wasw made by Lawrence Kasdan and Leigh Brackett, based, of course, on GL's story. The explains the better quality of the movie, especially dialogue! ESB is, IMO, the best of the movies as well. Basically for the reasons that Jahled cited. But "deep spiritual revelations", "despair" and "imperial might" don't appeal to the younger public. I can speak for myself, while I first watched the STar Wars trilogy when I was five or six, I didn't start to like it (to really to like it) after I was twelve. At first, I'd had expected the prequel movies to be darker. They deal, after all with the decadence of a government, the erradication of the Jedi and the fall of a young and hopeful man. Instead we get Jar Jar, lots of Disney-like aliens, and dweeby love scenes. Not even the Clone Wars seem dark. We see clones battling droids. With the occasional Jedi. Except for the Jedi, both are infinitely repleacable. A most pathetic war. The political thriller part doesn't get that much emphasis. And have of Anakin's scenes in AOTC were of him in the lake district of Naboo... Bantha-poodo, indeed. -
McDonalds, late 2010. Trej enters. "Hi, I'd like a Double-Warlord Burger, with Chiss Fries and Twi'Lek Soda. All of it Wookie-size." "Yes, sir, it'd be 10000 credits." "I'll give you 2000 now, and 15000 when you bring it to my table." "17000 then? By the way are those, Republic credits?" I agree with Jahled, that GL won't quit after Ep III, while he may not make more movies we will see more Star Wars. I don't think he'll make a Tv series. To keep up excellent special effects for a seasons-long series might prove too costly, especially for something as the X-Wign series for instance. I'd think they could be released as a miniseries. The Thrawn Books, X-wing series, I, Jedi... KJA's books.

I did read them, long ago... I didn't remember that episode, though.

What do you think about George Lucas?
Trejiuvanat replied to GeorgeLucasmustdie's topic in General Discussion
Mixed feelings, here, I can hope that Ep III will redeem Ep I, and some of the stuff in Ep II. -

They are great series, yes, better than the prequels, yes. (Debatable in some of the X-Wing series). Could they be turned into movies? Perhaps... If it wasn't for the age of the actors. An animated movie... Hmmm.. I don't know. The prequels suck, everyone older than 16 might agree to that. Some people say that Knights of the Old Republic has a deeper (and better story than the two prequels together). What can we do? Nothing, killing George Lucas wouldn't bring us any further to see good prequels. He was after all who came up with Star Wars in the first place. Twenty years ater ANH was realeased many people had different conceptions or expectations of the Clone Wars, of Anakin Skywalker. I had expected the clones to be the baddies, Palpatine to be the Senator of a more important planet, and Alderaan to have a protagonist role during the Clone Wars. GL let me down in all of them, so instead of rushing madly to Skywalker Ranch, I started to conceive my own prequels. Writing them in the form of a novel... I might still finish it, in a couple of decades... Until then, we can only hope that Episode III will make up for the two other episodes, then kill him. And have McCallm & Skywalker Ranch produce a movie based on the Zahn books. [/i]

Have you used the XWA model? XWA models happen to have a lower polycount than most of the fanmade models outthere.

Ok, calm down, take a breath. Now, open RebEd again, go for the Minor Characters section, the small window opens. Down right, you'll find the two button for saving and loading cards. Now look at the top left corner of the gray "panel" on the left of the picture, you'll find a small-yellow-and-hard-to-see-capital E! Click on it, a new window will appear, it has three tabs. The one shows the Ency image, the second the various images for in-game use. Stationed on planet / Tactical Mode / On Fleet. The third tab shows the char as it will appear during mission reports. That's the one youll need to replace for changing the Ency pic, or appearing correctly in the mission reports. Whenever you're making cards, or replacing images keep in mind that REbellion uses the low left corner pixel as reference for the "blue screen". so keep always the low left pixel in the background color. Blue, Green or Red.

I usually put one Ion on Coruscant or in the HQ, in case I need to evacuate. Couple of GenCore in the most important worlds. Other than that, I don't worry to much about it.

Memory Problems when Running Rebellion
Trejiuvanat replied to M_Koensayr's topic in General Discussion
No, I think you're the first to face such a problem. I haven't had such problem either. Post your specs, perhaps that'll help to figure it out. -
OOC: There aren't many around here, Darky... IC: Weeks had passed by since their return from Yavin. In those weeks much had happened. Rjiuvan Shai, the imposing Warmaster and the halfdivine Iulan S'Tor had been working hard to organize the Jeedai Vong fleet. Extensive repairs and refits had converted the old Rendili Dreadnaughts into deadly Warvultures, Kat'nas as they were named in the Yuuzhan Vong tongue. Iulan had been much pleased to see that the warriors were seasoned fighters, no longer seeking death for a distant God, they fought for their ideals, fighting bravely but without stupidity. Rjiuvan, as well, had shown much confidence in his troops. Over 150 Kat'nas were crewed by skeleton detachments, even so they performed better than many other crews, both Rebel and Imperial. Each of the warriors was worth a dozen of soldiers. The fleet also had been reorganized in small groups, strong enough to fend off an ambush, and powerful enough to harass the few remaining Imperial routes. The new organization even allowed a more healthly rotation of troops. The only problem Iulan and Rjiuvan faced was that they hadn't a chance of receiving new warriors. Defecting Yuuzhan Vong could not be contacted, and recruits from the captured worlds were not an option. Iulan and Rjiuvan had taken many hours to discuss that issue. Twice Iulan had wanted to offer Rjiuvan to clone the warriors, but Iulan knew perfectly that it would be little practical and that Rjiuvanwould never allow the existence of "created" warriors. "Warmaster, here are the coordinates of the other vessels of the Kat'na fleet." Rjiuvan nodded and gave them to Iulan, who with a slight clap activated the galactic bug map. The world referred in the coordinates lit up. "Interesting. To Imperial worlds, one captured world and two deep space locations." "But they aren't in Imperial hands," Rjiuvan ventured. "No," Iulan said, "Rebel hands definetely, giving aid to Imperial worlds, and attempting to incite uprisings." "Should we pursue them?" "No, not yet, while the rest of the fleet would be a welcome addition to our forces, we can do wihtout it for a while, but in the time being this particular ship is serving as a probe for those regions we aren't operating. In time though we'll pay the Rebels a visit." "In terms of peace?" Iulan smiled. "WIth a lightsaber. Able to give them a honest salute, and able to defend ourselve, or strike at them." "Then," Rjiuvan added. "I will bring my amphistaff as well."

Hi, Jason. Cool and interesting stuff for Rebellion, huh? Well, I'd recommend you too check out the downloads section. Use RebEd to replace the old characters, troops and ships with new ones. Also check out the models and the model installation tutorial. Plus some interesting patches, like the Battlestations patch. Enjoy yourself.

Have a look in the Galaxies section of the forums, Grand Moff. You might find help there.

May it be with you as well, DC. May it be with all the 2300+ members of our little community here....

I watched it today. IT IS A GREAT MOVIE!!! There's hardly more you can say about it. It's a film to be enjoyed. As for SOCL's comments, I thought about some of them, particularly the Éowyn-Théoden dialogue reminded me of ROTJ. As did Frodo and Sam in their "Orctrooper" outfit... On the other hand, Endor means Middle-Earth in Elvish...
